@@SpaceChannelJules The area right before the genso tree in the right side of the map. There's a rock you need to push to get up that has a chance of becoming completely stationary and there's nothing you can do about it. It broke the game.
I don't have much experience with the Metroivania genre, really only Guacamelee. I've been meaning to give games like this a real try, and this has been one of the games I've been eyeing, mostly because how beautiful it is. I'll probably get it eventually, just not for a bit, there's too many games coming out right now.

Those stomping enemies seem like they'd get reeeaally annoying and tedious to deal with after a while. Can I bash them or are they moving too fast? How about the checkpoint system. I never saw you die so I'm not sure how it works. Are spikes and fire an instant kill? Or do they just do damage? Hows the save system work in this game? What about length? How many hours are in this game with extras and whatnot? Any secret ending for completion? Any DKC style secrets?
You can bash some enemies but it's very situational. Spamming the energy ball is the only attack that works consistently. The game lets you create save points whenever so you can create your own checkpoints. Some obtacles are instant kills and some aren't, it really depends. They game is like 7-8 hours normally and 9-10 with extras. I did not 100% the game so idk about any secret endings.
@@tomhill3248 I mean there are hidden areas here and there where you can pick up stuff to boost your stats (like extra damage/health) but I'm not sure about any big stuff. At least I didn't come across any huge secrets. I'm sure there's something though, most games have something like that.
Oh, on the contrary, it's good because it's pretty and has big'ol buttons on the controller that also vibrate and get shiny in dark. Also ur Doo Doo head, you're not allowed in my treehouse because you said things that hurt my feelings

totally get that, but whenever you do get around to metroidvanias, I'd definitely recommend Hollow Knight first.

How do you do the dash jump on the switch ?
