      The Gen 1 Porsche Cayenne guys already own the Pig moniker, as in naked, cliff-jumping-pig. Naked refers to a lack of warranty; cliff-jumping is buying the pig in the first place. Mine was named Ruby.

      This is totally unrelated but 2 years ago I invested every dollar i had going all in on a company that buys, operates, and sells, global commodities hauling ocean going vessels and it went from being worth 100 million to 500 million in that time and has built an oil tanker shipping company they gave me shares of for free since i held shares of the parent company and my shares are about to go up in value in both companies and im just really excited and i wanted to tell someone about it. This week theyre going to post a 100 million 2022 net income and they are in a zero corporate income tax jurisdiction. 2 whole years worth of work and a lot of math and its finally going to pay off bigleague. I bought my shares when no one new the company existed and all day yesterday it was top 20 most popular stocks according to the live data on my brokerage app of choice. When i sell my shares im going to reinvest and then using the money that makes i want to start a shop like this one so i can build cool vehicles. So exciting. Time is more valuable than money, and as influencers and becoming more famous, to hold these events to this scale and invite the world to your event, is spectacular. The sky is the limit with each channel that connects with anybody within. The builds. The planning. The rushing. The growth. The genuine people you are. You deserve the award of satisfaction at the end of this event. You have done IT. Whatever goals you might have had, or will have. You have done it and you are going to do it! God bless. Hopefully one day I can take my family on a vacation to that side of the U.S. Planning is in the works. The fact you have made a family from Indiana want to visit your area. Matt,
    Maybe someone else has suggested it but here goes:
    Wherever you end up putting the rear stead controls, use a locking trigger. The one you have already looks like a trigger style, but the locking element would be like an angle grinder switch, where you can get it to stay on. This function could be used instead of a separate switch to stop the self-centring engaging when you don’t want it to. The all options are in one place at the disposal of one hand without the need to let go and switch something else, less to think about, etc. would be good for the tricky terrain where the rear steer will get most use.
    Just a thought :)

    I gotta say, wrecker and Matt fit so well together! It's such a cool looking rig with its own personality! If I heard about MORR for the first time, wrecker and Matt's head poking out of it would be close to what I would imagine in my mind. Can't wait to see all the recoveries you guys will do with it! Hopefully you'll build a worthy trailer for it also, if you have to travel longer distances to do recoveries with it.

    This has been a fun journey following this build. I'm 70 now, and got into 4 WD off roading, overlanding, building custom, and conversion 4 WD vehicles since I was about 18-19 years old. Welding, fabrication, even worked in an off road conversion shop back in the early 1970s.
    That said, Matt has taken this to a new level. I am learning new stuff on every new video release! I have worked around guys like Matt all my life. Always, there's that one guy who makes it look easy, guided by some kind of internal compass, or instincts, I don't know what the science is, but I recognize it when I see it. I've gotta stop in and say hi one of these days when I'm in the neighborhood.

  • @durkus
    @durkus ปีที่แล้ว

    Matt. I don’t know if you realize it, but you answered your own question about why the WLORW doesn’t climb as well as your other vehicles. Commenters thought the wrecker was too heavy and would get stuck in sand. You noted it has very little ground pressure. Which is great. However when climbing it needs a lot of ground pressure to grip the slick rocks. You may need to actually add weight to help with climbs, while giving up some sand performance. Could be removable. Or is it possible to use air bags to shift vehicle weight to load to a specific tire when climbing? Increasing tire pressures could also help as it reduces tire surface contact to ground. It is a multi-dimensional problem which I’m sure you can solve.

    Hi matt and team. Very impressive. One advice for the drive shaft I need to give you: it can be necessary, depending on the angles of the u-joints to each other on both sides, that you need to have certain degrees of offset. When the drive shafts ends are parallel to each other but not in line the u-joints are acting as a gear against each other. That might have been the reason for shearing them off. I got that experience from land-rover defenders puma model where the offset is standard setting in the manual because the transfer case output shaft is higher than at td5 or 300tdi. It makes a huge difference.
