It's inspired by "Volcano High", a 2001 South Korean martial arts action comedy film. It revolves around a troublemaking high school student named Kim Kyung-soo (here Mingi) who finds himself transferred to the last school that will take him, the prestigious Volcano (Ateez) High, an institution whose students display an incredible talent in martial arts, with a few demonstrating even more mysterious psychic powers. Kyung-soo is drawn into fights between different clubs, a manuscript that is told to hold great power, and a group of teachers that will do whatever possible to keep the students in line.

But in the MV you can see at 3:37 all 4 of them holding a book (aka manuscript) and the lightning effects and ridiculous powers. (just like in Volcano High) In HIGH&LOW it's no super powers just slightly exaggerated punching, kicking and brawling.

(Oneus, VIXX, A.C.E, BTS, Heechul X Kyunghoon, EXO Kai, ect) Oneus did an amazing job with Luna if you want a good example of Korean traditional clothing, hand fans incorporated in the choreography, instruments, and vocal technique)
Oneus is another group that puts a lot of traditional elements in their videos - top two for that is their older song "Lit" and their new release "Luna". Highly recommend.
There's a long list of recent of mvs that use hanboks in either a modern or traditional styling. It'd be too hard to name every one here. My personal favorite and one I highly recommend is A.C.E - Goblin (Favorite Boys). Also Oneus has done two different songs with hanbok styling; LIT and LUNA.

Nope, You ain't slow - you're just really impacted or moved by 2 songs with a strong historical presence. This new sound was so appealing to my taste in music. It has a strong Korean influence, for me it's not just another song. They do something original to my UK ears quite often. I think of ATEEZ as 'hard core' Korean. I love them.
