When they performed this at the concert each member had a chance to make their own dance break and two of them started twerking 😭
It's inspired by "Volcano High", a 2001 South Korean martial arts action comedy film.
It revolves around a troublemaking high school student named Kim Kyung-soo (here Mingi) who finds himself transferred to the last school that will take him, the prestigious Volcano (Ateez) High, an institution whose students display an incredible talent in martial arts, with a few demonstrating even more mysterious psychic powers. Kyung-soo is drawn into fights between different clubs, a manuscript that is told to hold great power, and a group of teachers that will do whatever possible to keep the students in line.
I thought it was based on the Japanese movie with exile tribe

But in the MV you can see at 3:37 all 4 of them holding a book (aka manuscript) and the lightning effects and ridiculous powers. (just like in Volcano High)
In HIGH&LOW it's no super powers just slightly exaggerated punching, kicking and brawling.

@@mulfandisallowed9345 welcome to the fandom! in may 2021 for the kingdom finale, all six groups had to release a new song and ateez had released the real! and they performed it during the finale too, if you search up 'ateez the real kingdom', you'll find the performance 🤗

There's a long list of recent of mvs that use hanboks in either a modern or traditional styling. It'd be too hard to name every one here. My personal favorite and one I highly recommend is A.C.E - Goblin (Favorite Boys). Also Oneus has done two different songs with hanbok styling; LIT and LUNA.

Quite a bit of groups have included Hanbok or Korean traditional aspects in mvs or songs. (Oneus, VIXX, A.C.E, BTS, Heechul X Kyunghoon, EXO Kai, ect) Oneus did an amazing job with Luna if you want a good example of Korean traditional clothing, hand fans incorporated in the choreography, instruments, and vocal technique)
Next is "Don't Stop". Not an official video, but it was made for the Universe streaming site. Check it out!
Oneus is another group that puts a lot of traditional elements in their videos - top two for that is their older song "Lit" and their new release "Luna". Highly recommend.

Since you seemed to like the traditional style type of clothing/music in MV's I would really check out the group Oneus!! They tend to incorporate a lot of traditional Korean instruments/beats into their music and a lot of their styling is in modern hanboks!! The songs id recommend is "Luna" and "Lit" if you want that traditional sound, and for just pop sound "No diggity" and "Black Mirror" are so good!! Thank you for checking out Ateez again! Nope, You ain't slow - you're just really impacted or moved by 2 songs with a strong historical presence. This new sound was so appealing to my taste in music. It has a strong Korean influence, for me it's not just another song. They do something original to my UK ears quite often. I think of ATEEZ as 'hard core' Korean. I love them.
