I could explain Ateez' storyline a little. So basically Inception is actually the beginning of their story. In Inception they are just troubled teenagers struggling with different things and trying to find their way. But then, the leader of the group, Hongjoong (the short rapper with the higher voice with the orange hair in Deja Vu) falls asleep and has a dream that a man dressed in all black with a black fidora hat and mask gives him a sand hourglass and tells him the world isn't all that he thinks it is, there is so much more. When Hongjoong wakes up, there is no man, but the hourglass is there. We learn the hourglass is a magical device called the chromer and it has the power to make the user travel into other universes and through time. Ateez accidently activate the chromer, and get sucked into another universe. They are attacked by a group of men dressed in all white with masks (seen at the end of Fireworks) and these men steal the chromer. Ateez escape, and then go on a journey to find the men in white masks so they can get the chromer back and go back home. But in the journey of searching for the chromer they meet the black pirates, also known as Halateez, and Hongjoong recognizes one as the man who gave him the chromer. Turns out Halateez is the version of Ateez in this other universe they've entered. In this other universe, the government has taken control of everything, and brainwashed the population to stop feeling any emotions because the government believes human emotion is the reason for all humanities problems and thinks the world should instead focus on effiency and productiveness. Halateez broke free from the brainwashing though, and are leading a rebellion against the government. Halateez brought Ateez to their universe on purpose to ask Ateez for help in the rebellion. The rebellion starts in the music video that came out before Bouncy, called Guerrilla, so during Bouncy it has already been some time that Halateez and Ateez have been trying to help more and more people break free from the brainwashing. During bouncy you see them using different methods to help the people who are breaking free feel emotions. The peppers they were smuggling, extreme spicy flavour triggers emotions, the fight club and gambling, though not exactly healthy emotions, are still triggering emotions. The bullet that Hongjoong fires actually hits one of the men in white that has still been trying to stop Halateez and Ateez, and the building they blow up belongs to Prestige Academy, the main school that does the brainwashing of the children in this universe. Ateez storyline has not been told in Chronological order at all. They have done a lot of teasing imagery in music videos that they then didn't explain in the story until years later. The most coherent way Ateez' storyline is explained is through diary films, teasers, trailers, epilogues and prologues surrounding each comeback, as well as and most importantly in literal diary entries within the physical copies of certain versions of their albums that tell the story almost like comics. Atiny (the name of the fandom, the word is a combination of Ateez+destiny) always post the diaries online in various ways to share with other atiny and KQ is okay with that. The place I recommend the most for anyone who speaks english who wants to know what happens in the diaries is a actually an atiny on this platform named Eterniteez. They created videos reading out all the diary entries from the albums. Their list with the videos reading only the diaries is called "The complete guide to Ateez storyline" on their channel. But for anyone who wants to see the diary videos and all the official teasers and trailers that depict and explain storyline I can help. I created a public list on my profile that has everything that depicts official canon Ateez storyline so far in the order it occurs in. Everything is official content plus Eterniteez diary videos in that list, so there's no theory videos that may be wrong. Last thing I will mention and explain, like I said earlier Ateez like to release videos depicting storyline well before they finally explain what's happening in them often. For example, they are pirates in many of their videos, and while assumption is they take over this role from Halateez and get the abilities and such from them, we don't yet have an explanation yet for how or when that happens within the story. Hongjoong did once say that the pirate themed videos and such may be actually depictions from the furthest point in the storyline they've shown so far. There is theories going around atinyville that the next comeback, coming out December 1st, will finally explain what is happening in Wonderland m/v and tie into some of that pirate stuff, maybe.
as a baby infant atiny i needed this recap, thank you so much for this information it’s really appreciated and it makes me really love the lore sooo much
If you like brighter songs you can check their MVs Eternal Sunshine, The Real, Dreamers, Illusion, Aurora, Promise, Rocky, Treasure. Also, since you liked Dejavu, I think you'll like Cyberpunk, it doesn't have MV, but you can watch their live performance. Their live performances are what make them stand out. They're known as performance monsters & you can see more dancing & live vocals in that. Thanks for taking time to check them out❤
Youre actually doing pretty good with the elements of the storyline despite not really knowing it. The story is complicated but we all have fun making our own interpretations. Ateez has a really really broad discography. If youre looking for something more "Bright" from them I reccomend Illusion. If youre looking for something that combines the sexy vibes of Deja Vu with the dystopian vibes of Bouncy i reccomend the bside Cyberpunk
Never clicked so fast! Yes please more Ateez! Based on your enjoyment of fun, upbeat songs I suggest Eternal Sunshine and Illusion! For softer with vocals I suggest Turbulence, Aurora and Promise. For AMAZING cinematics I would suggested Halazia. For hip thrusts, I suggest Answer.... Those above are all songs with music videos. In all honesty, I hope you check out their B-sides because the songs without MV's are some of their best!
This is the first video I've seen from you and I enjoyed it a lot! Amazing and hilarious commentary, loved your honesty and reviews! I'm also impressed at the fact that you nailed some of the stuff from their concept, since even those of us who are hardcore fans get confused with the storyline lol . If you ever have time (and want to) react to more of their "bright" songs I recommend these: - Illusion - Aurora - Eternal sunshine Also: Songs with really cool choreo: - HALA HALA - Say my name And : Songs with really cool vocals: - Answer - Turbulence
Based on your taste, i HAVE to recommend Halazia and The Real - very different songs, but both have something really special about their energy! I'd almost describe Halazia as a bit of a religious experience(??) and The Real is that pure dance pop fun with an ENTERTAINING music video.
Never did I expect you to react to Ateez lol I was truly shocked at the notif. As a die-hard gg stan, Ateez are the only boy group I ult and one of the only ones whose whole discographies I listen to period outside of Shinee. I actually think you missed most of the ones you would be super obsessed with - Answer, Halazia, Turbulence, and Eternal Sunshine. All are a bit more singing-forward (especially Turbulence which is a ballad) and Eternal Sunshine is very bright and fun (very queer-coded as a queer myself). Also btw their lore/storyline is extensive and even I, as someone who has ulted them for over four years, cannot understand it. Most of those extra bits at the end of the mv’s point to their lore (and actually tease upcoming songs).
That was quite a ride! Thanks for reacting to Ateez. You’re fun! That was a nice, broad overview. If you REALLY want to see what they can do, throw in some live performances. Times like these, I wish Cyberpunk got an official performance video… in the black outfits. If you really, truly like brighter songs… Eternal Sunshine, Thanxx, and Utopia. Otherwise, my favorites titles are are… Guerrilla, Halazia, The Real, Turbulence, Say My Name, Rocky, and Answer. Most B-sides also have choreo/live performance out there. KQ is generally very reactor friendly with content from their official channel. My favorite B-sides are Cyberpunk, Take Me Home, The Ring, Win, Mist, and To The Beat.
damn the editing, i've never laughed so much while watching a reaction video lmao the story you've created was interesting for sure 😂 looking forward for more ateez
His reaction to San being in the center in Deja Vu was literally MEE. That's when I started joining the fandom and I was TERRIFIED of that man cause he did things like that. I'm just an innocent little angel. BTW, this editing has me cracking up LMAO.
In fact you are not wrong Wave is the "final" of their story, they go through many complicated scenarios before they actually become pirates haha... their story is too complicated and indeed all MV are related but is fun to hear all the theories Please check more of ATEEZ! I can recommend happy songs like Eternal Sunshine, The Real... sexy/hard songs like Cyberpunk, Halazia, Guerrilla and sad/calm songs like Turbulence, Answer (not so calm thou) they really have everything for every taste xD❤
I loved the reaction! I laughed so hard at your theory that now they might be working for the devil after he surveilled them. I would love to see you react to more Ateez. Some suggestions would be Eternal Sunshine, Answer, Illusion, Treasure, and The Real.
omg ateez is my favorite 4th gen bg and I never expected dylan to react to them omfg afwgdhjw I can’t watch now since I’m at class but I see my bias choi san in the thumbnail?? please tell me dylan likes him😭 edit: just watched it AND YOUR REACTIONS TO SAN ARE SO HILARIOUS AHDGSHHAHA😭 it was so relatable like SIR IM JUST TRYING TO BREATHE HERE
Yess!! I love Ateez! Next time you should definatly react to Eternal Sunshine, Answer, Treasure, Hallazia, Hala Hala and Say my name.... obviously I recomment to react to all their songs eventually, but i think this is a good line-up for the next video❣️
Thank you for this Dylan. I haven’t laughed this hard in awhile. Definitely hope you tune in for their next comeback that’s on December 1st. And whenever you get the chance I would recommend you check out some of their other releases “Pirate King” was their debut song but I feel like you’ll prefer their second title track from that album “Treasure.” “Say my name” Hala Hala” and one of my most favorite songs from them “Answer” are also a must listen. Ateez has a concept filled with a story based lore about them being pirates in search of a treasure or utopia. Along the way they end up jumping dimensions into another universe where the world is dystopian and controlled by a tyrannical government . In this world they come across their own doppelgängers called the black pirates or the Halateez who have been fighting back against the government. Thanks again for the reaction 🤍
I like the edits😂😭 They do have more "lighthearted" songs like Celebrate, Eternal Sunshine, As well for the storyline here is a short summary. Most of their mvs and even some of their bsides are connected. Their lore is very rich and deep but basically so far there are 2 universes, A and Z. Ateez have struggles of their own problems but then they get teleported to another dimension when the leader (Hongjoong) got a dream where he met a man with a mask in a black fedora. He gave Captain a thing called the cromer and when he fliped it he teleported the team to universe Z where they meet their alter egos which we call "Halateez". They come to know that Halateez asked for help because the place where they live is a dystopia where the government banned emotions and self expression. Stuff happens and now Ateez has to free the people by being the leaders of the resistance that Halateez formed called the "Black Pirates" (because halateez wear black outfits with a mask and fedoras). They still haven't freeded the people so I am waiting to see what will happen in their upcoming album which will be their last album for The World Series. The Treasure series is hard to conclude what hapoen or if it is even a sequel or prequel to Fever Series and The World but me personally I think it's certain events grouped together and not a prequel like a lot of people believe.
i have known and seen you way back years ago reacting to snsd videos and all... and now seeing you discovering ATEEZ is making me happy as both snsd and ateez stan 😭
Nobody suggested Answer??????!!!!!! Because the bridge. THE BRIDGE. THE VOCALS. Or Turbulence. Which was the song in the teaser after Deja Vu ended. And is actually a gorgeous song.
hahahaha poor choi san cant be in middle🤣🤣 As an Ateez fan i have to say that when you listen and watch the videos in order when they came out it has like a red string everything has something to do with the other 🤣 and simetimes sime stuff Happend to the members that was also a puzzle to the Story very strong storyline but its as i sayd u have to understand it and watch everything in order to understand
This was so fun to watch. Your sound effects had me laughing the whole time. Please check out more Ateez, they are so talented. For lighter songs you should check out Eternal Sunshine and Answer. Even though the vibe is different and it's super dark lol, I recommend Halazia. It's like no other K-pop song or video. And for a more 80's kind of sound, check out the live performances of Cyberpunk (the Musicbank performance) and Take me home
Thanks for checking them out! ❤️ For brighter videos i def recommend eternal sunshine, be my lover, illusion, promise, and aurora! The real and thanxx are also very fun! For vocals absolutely check out turbulence and answer. Their storyline is hard to follow even for us fans but they're pirates and there's different dimensions (A and Z) and they travel between them and they're trying to free citizens in dimension Z who are being controlled by the government 😭 It's a lot but ateez are the good guys lmao
Hi Dylan! I'm discovering your channel now because of ATEEZ and I will follow you if you continue this journey with ATEEZ. Wonderland is actually an event after Wave. Wave is a dream and Wonderland is also a dream, but in Wave they are still amazed as if they were in paradise and in Wonderland they started to realize that everything there was fake and they were trapped, in the end, they wake up. Inception is the beginning of everything, and you can see that they search for happiness in dreams because reality is very difficult. Fireworks is further ahead in the story, you skipped some MVs, but they are still trapped, but not in dreams, but in a different dimension. In Bouncy they already feel at home. They are disguised. In this dimension, the government prohibited people from feeling emotions, so they committed themselves to saving people and then returning to the original dimension. They are chased by guard Z and it is him that Hongjoong shoots. I'll watch part 2!
I don't rlly know ATEEZ but 'Bouncy' is just one of my fav songs rn! And now I'm discovering more songs and I'm liking all of them. So I'll get to know the members so I can call myself ATINY 🥰
Ateez are my ults so i keep up with the reactions constantly. Im glad you enjoyed them first of all and i hope you continue to enjoy them. second idk if you edit your vids or you have an editor but credit is due bc your editing is hilarious. Loved it start to finish. Gonna watch your gg reacts next!
Also inception, wonderland, and bouncy are very lore heavy and ateez in general is very lore heavy. The only one that knows all of it is the leader and we piece it together from the vids and clues we're given. Inception is essentially just like the Leo movie in that they are trapped in a dream and forced to face some of their deepest regrets in life through where they are (the basketball court, the classroom, the garage, and the music studio, and the room with all the notes on the walls. they are to-do lists)) they all mean something to each member and yes you are right in that Hongjoong (the leader) does "break free" at the end and goes to save the other members still trapped in the "dream" (haunted by their past) so that they can grow and come together as Ateez. Stronger together :) 8 Makes 1 Team
Omg I'm about to sleep and I accidentally tap yt and your video is the first in my recommendation. I saw ATEEZ on the title so I immediately watched it! I hope you'll react next to these following ATEEZ songs: - "Guerrilla" (rock type of music but you love on point vocals so you deserve to see this!) - "The Real" (it has a lot of dance break and fun MV) - "The Black Cat Nero" (it's a Halloween special cover performance, insane vocals and choreo!) - "Halazia" (quite dark themed but since you like fireworks I'm the one, I bet you'll gonna love this too!) If you dive into this too I hope you'll soon watch their live performances. ATEEZ were total performers. Mic is on, choreo is on point, and the best of all? They were kings of expression!! They literally ate every live performance they do, so I hope you witness that too! ❤ New subscriber here btw! Thank you for reacting to ATEEZ! We, ATINYs (ATEEZ fandom), hope to see more ATEEZ on your channel! More power to your channel! Have a great day everyday! ❤
So Ateez began their journey as pirates with the treasure series (including wave + wonderland), hence Wonderland sounding like a sea shanty. They debuted with the song pirate king and you will see the pirate motif throughout their videos like them holding flags, them on pirate ships, Hongjoong (their leader) calling himself ‘captain’ etc. It’s expressed through their earliest videos that there’s a force opposing them but we’re not exactly sure what and for what reason (it gets roughly explained later but Say My Name + Hala Hala + Answer introduces some of the lore later for Fireworks and Bouncy so I recommend watching those). In the fever series we see them being more as regular guys and how their creative team is explaining the jump to different concepts is that they’re given an hourglass (I think they actually accidentally steal it and then get visited but I don’t remember off the top) by their doppelgängers from another universe to travel through time & space to basically ask them for help with saving their city/country/land/whatever (we call it Strictland it can be first seen in Fireworks). These doppelgängers are fugitives so once they’ve made contact with og Ateez they became targets as well which is why they’re being surveilled in deja vu. Bouncy is the latest video in the world series which is basically about overthrowing the government that has outlawed human emotion (they basically mind control everyone saying that if you have no emotion you make no mistakes so then you can be perfect and society will be perfect) and so that in turn outlaws music and dance and art and all that jazz. We don’t know where the doppelgängers are that are originally from this place they’re “missing” but Ateez takes their place as rebels to fight the regime and whatnot and all of bouncy is basically a sting operation where they pair off with different jobs (cowboys: one gets info, then has to make sure all loose ends are tied up so that he’s not seen, the other is the marksman set to take out the building once he has what he needs. Motorcycles: distraction/transport with all the illegal speeding. Cops/mechanics + parrot: inside men/double agents. Fighter/manager: they make the money). The predecessors to this video are Halazia and Guerrilla they basically both describe the situation that Ateez are put in from their perspective (guerrilla) and then the perspective of the oppressed people (halazia). Hope this helps!
The way I was waiting for this, I have never clicked on a video so fast in my life Please react to more Ateez when you get the chance Dylan, their storyline makes a lot more sense when you go through the videos haha, I enjoyed this alot :)
If you liked Wave and like more happy songs for sure you'll like Eternal Sunshine, Illusion and Utopia (a lot others but this 3 are the ones that have mv) Thank you for reacting to Ateez, they are amazing and you should totally watch their performances becuase they are crazy performers
storyline wise, the lore goes in so deep you can never get out and hongjoong (the captain/leader) had mentioned that they hadn't even released half of the story 5 years into their debut... essentially, there are two versions of ateez, one is ateez from the normal world and the other is halateez, their clones from another dimension. they travel between these two dimensions using what they call a cromer (the hourglass you saw at the end of deja vu). ill try to shorten this as much as possible but what we know of right now is that the world halateez is in is a dystopian world that has a controlling leader that aims to make its citizens robot-like (no emotions, no expressing themselves) so ateez decided to help halateez out to break the rule and save the citizens like i said, theres a lot more to the story. the order of the albums according to their storyline is the FEVER series (pt. 1, pt. 2, pt. 3, epilogue) followed by The World series (as of now, is still in the process of being released since bounch is ep. 1). It is still unconfirmed where the Treasure series is placed in the timeline but it will be clearer as the plot thickens. Hope this managed to clear some things up!!
First time I'm watching you and I'm so entertained. Love your commentary! Thank you for checking out Ateez! ❤ "I'm on your side guys. I really hope you find water soon. The next video is called Deja Vu" Me: 😂
Halazia, Cyberpunk, The Real, Hala Hala, Say my Name - great songs :D And Ateez Special Clip - Imagine Dragons Dance performance by San (If you want to torture yourself) Storyline wise: They are PIrates. - which is why their leader is called "Captain". I'm not fully on the whole with the storyline, but they are using an hour glass and can travel between dimensions/worlds.
Wow! I love that you're looking into boy groups more! As someone else already mentioned, please give Oneus a listen. Some good ones to try are Valkyrie, Lit, Luna, A Song Written Easily, and Same Scent.
i'm a long time subscriber and old kpop fan.. i honestly never thought i would see you react to ateez! they are my ult group in all of kpop, they are just that good. i immediately knew that you probably weren't gonna be a fan of bouncy and wonderland as they are both on the louder side of title-tracks that ateez has. but i promise you ateez has such a wonderful, diverse, and impressive discography. they are endlessly talented and they're also master performers. i'm honestly just over the moon that you liked what you heard and are interested in them! i think i can give you some perfect recommendations. eternal sunshine, be my lover, illusion, answer, and halazia. there are a couple of b-sides i'd love to recommend, too. a few of them have mvs as well. utopia, aurora, promise, mist, and take me home. i think you would really enjoy all of these and i would be so happy to see another ateez video from you :') thank you so much!!
I feel like you'd like the MVs for Answer, Illusion, The Real and Guerrilla! I would love to see your reaction and theories hahah. Their debut song Pirate King is also great and it's kinda self explanatory.... they're pirates in the lore!
not me giggling like a fool when you said you prefer vocals over rap and happy sounding songs......Ateez are a pretty even balance of rap and singing, and also a fair balance of upbeat, happy songs and heavy-hitting anthem songs. :D
Next batch of Ateez videos you should check out based on your preferences, Answer, Say my name, Eternal Sunshine, Turbulence, Aurora, and Dreamers. I also love Halazia, Guerilla, and Hala Hala but those are all a little more hard hitting songs.

"There he fckin goes" 😂
me every time San does anything lmfao like can he let me breathe😩
The way I screamed when I saw this in my subscriptions!! Looking forward to this 😘
damn the editing, i've never laughed so much while watching a reaction video lmao the story you've created was interesting for sure 😂 looking forward for more ateez
His reaction to San being in the center in Deja Vu was literally MEE. That's when I started joining the fandom and I was TERRIFIED of that man cause he did things like that. I'm just an innocent little angel. BTW, this editing has me cracking up LMAO.
In fact you are not wrong Wave is the "final" of their story, they go through many complicated scenarios before they actually become pirates haha... their story is too complicated and indeed all MV are related but is fun to hear all the theories
Please check more of ATEEZ! I can recommend happy songs like Eternal Sunshine, The Real... sexy/hard songs like Cyberpunk, Halazia, Guerrilla and sad/calm songs like Turbulence, Answer (not so calm thou)
they really have everything for every taste xD❤
I loved the reaction! I laughed so hard at your theory that now they might be working for the devil after he surveilled them. I would love to see you react to more Ateez. Some suggestions would be Eternal Sunshine, Answer, Illusion, Treasure, and The Real.
I love how Ateez actually knows how to do songs with a good crazy dance break
omg ateez is my favorite 4th gen bg and I never expected dylan to react to them omfg afwgdhjw I can’t watch now since I’m at class but I see my bias choi san in the thumbnail?? please tell me dylan likes him😭
edit: just watched it AND YOUR REACTIONS TO SAN ARE SO HILARIOUS AHDGSHHAHA😭 it was so relatable like SIR IM JUST TRYING TO BREATHE HERE
Knowing the Ateez lore makes this video 10x funnier because you’re almost there but also no 😭
I haven't laughed so hard at a reaction in so long. I love this and you.
Inception and Deja Vu are two of my fave Ateez songs, just so freaking good!
this was the most entertaining reaction video i've EVER watched
The editing, your commentary and the sound effects had me in fits 😭 came here for ATEEZ and ended up subbing for the quality content 😂
I see San on the thumbnail, I click, I watch, I like. 😊
thank you for reacting dylan!! other songs you'd like would probably be eternal sunshine, the real, treasure, illusion, answer, thanxx and halazia
I like the edits😂😭
They do have more "lighthearted" songs like Celebrate, Eternal Sunshine,
As well for the storyline here is a short summary.
OMG THANK YOU DYLAN. I hope you'll react to the next chapter for Loona members: Loossemble, Odd Eye Circle, Chuu and Heejin
Nobody suggested Answer??????!!!!!! Because the bridge. THE BRIDGE. THE VOCALS. Or Turbulence. Which was the song in the teaser after Deja Vu ended. And is actually a gorgeous song.
OMG, YEEEESSSS!!! I never clicked so faaaaaaast!!!
I'm hoping you fall in love with them ❤
bouncy was my first comeback of theirs and wonderland was the first song ive heard and ive been hooked ever since
omggg bouncy first comeback?? awe baby teeny
PART 2 IS NEEDED ❤❤❤❤❤🎉
I love this video sm the humor PLS
You would really love Hala Hala, Horizon, The Real, Answer, and my fave Turbulence. They have amazing dance practices!
hahahaha poor choi san cant be in middle🤣🤣
As an Ateez fan i have to say that when you listen and watch the videos in order when they came out it has like a red string everything has something to do with the other 🤣
and simetimes sime stuff Happend to the members that was also a puzzle to the Story
very strong storyline but its as i sayd u have to understand it and watch everything in order to understand
also the storyline is like kinda make ur own and everyone has itself "version/understandig impression of it
I’m proud to say that they already broke a lot of walls around the world!!
"Yall were working for the devil this whole time" shhh no one tell him about the halazia cult
If you like dance breaks you should really check out 'HALA HALA', 'The Real', 'Guerrilla', 'HALAZIA' and their newest song 'Crazy Form'!
Thanks for checking them out! ❤️ For brighter videos i def recommend eternal sunshine, be my lover, illusion, promise, and aurora! The real and thanxx are also very fun! For vocals absolutely check out turbulence and answer. Their storyline is hard to follow even for us fans but they're pirates and there's different dimensions (A and Z) and they travel between them and they're trying to free citizens in dimension Z who are being controlled by the government 😭 It's a lot but ateez are the good guys lmao
waiting for halazia and guerilla hehe... also ateez are coming back in december so you should def check it out !!
I'll watch part 2!
omg Dylan's storyline for Ateez is so good im committed 🤣🤣🤣
ohh you missed HALAZIA and GUERILLA PLEASE MORE 😭😭😭 i love you brooo
I don't rlly know ATEEZ but 'Bouncy' is just one of my fav songs rn! And now I'm discovering more songs and I'm liking all of them. So I'll get to know the members so I can call myself ATINY 🥰
Welcome to the rabbit hole! Thank you for checking out my boys, they are precious. Enjoy
Also in the current storyline being told in bouncy, they're international fugatives. It's...a lot to explain really...
I've been waiting for this yesss
Your reaction was hilarious.. love the commentary …hope u check out more ATZ content. They’re so talented.
Y'all are forgeting about Eternal Sunshine! That song is super happy and cutesy, Dylan should watch that mv 🤍
I WAS HOPING FOR ATEEZ NEXT. I would love to see TXT, I think you'd like a good amount of their stuff
Your reaction is so fun!! Never watch a reaction to Deja Vu like you before, I'm almost choked 😂
Omg I'm about to sleep and I accidentally tap yt and your video is the first in my recommendation. I saw ATEEZ on the title so I immediately watched it!
I hope you'll react next to these following ATEEZ songs:
- "Guerrilla" (rock type of music but you love on point vocals so you deserve to see this!)
- "The Real" (it has a lot of dance break and fun MV)
- "The Black Cat Nero" (it's a Halloween special cover performance, insane vocals and choreo!)
- "Halazia" (quite dark themed but since you like fireworks I'm the one, I bet you'll gonna love this too!)
If you dive into this too I hope you'll soon watch their live performances. ATEEZ were total performers. Mic is on, choreo is on point, and the best of all? They were kings of expression!! They literally ate every live performance they do, so I hope you witness that too! ❤
New subscriber here btw! Thank you for reacting to ATEEZ! We, ATINYs (ATEEZ fandom), hope to see more ATEEZ on your channel! More power to your channel! Have a great day everyday! ❤
I am new to ATEEZ myself aaand wow they are amazing
If you wanna watch something that’s happier then you should watch Eternal Sunshine!
Welcome welcome lol
ATEEZ are prime K-pop.
Performance kings, vocalists, rappers, dancers… can do it all
You're not gonna regret checking this boys. They are awesome
The way I was waiting for this, I have never clicked on a video so fast in my life
Please react to more Ateez when you get the chance Dylan, their storyline makes a lot more sense when you go through the videos haha, I enjoyed this alot :)
"They finally were wet! Like their female fans have been since their debut"😂 I died
If you liked Wave and like more happy songs for sure you'll like Eternal Sunshine, Illusion and Utopia (a lot others but this 3 are the ones that have mv)
Thank you for reacting to Ateez, they are amazing and you should totally watch their performances becuase they are crazy performers
you're so real 😂😂😂😂, welcome Atiny! 🖤
this is such a new and fresh content for Dylan
storyline wise, the lore goes in so deep you can never get out and hongjoong (the captain/leader) had mentioned that they hadn't even released half of the story 5 years into their debut...
essentially, there are two versions of ateez, one is ateez from the normal world and the other is halateez, their clones from another dimension. they travel between these two dimensions using what they call a cromer (the hourglass you saw at the end of deja vu).
ill try to shorten this as much as possible but what we know of right now is that the world halateez is in is a dystopian world that has a controlling leader that aims to make its citizens robot-like (no emotions, no expressing themselves) so ateez decided to help halateez out to break the rule and save the citizens
like i said, theres a lot more to the story. the order of the albums according to their storyline is the FEVER series (pt. 1, pt. 2, pt. 3, epilogue) followed by The World series (as of now, is still in the process of being released since bounch is ep. 1). It is still unconfirmed where the Treasure series is placed in the timeline but it will be clearer as the plot thickens.
Hope this managed to clear some things up!!
Owh I need your reaction to all their music videos tho 😍 ps. don't forget to react to San's special clips "dance cover of warrior" 😆
I heard "Are you in the water, bitch??" at Seonghwa and hit like so fast😂
9:05 Dylan getting turnt for the dance break is so real
First time I'm watching you and I'm so entertained. Love your commentary! Thank you for checking out Ateez! ❤
"I'm on your side guys. I really hope you find water soon.
The next video is called Deja Vu"
Me: 😂
I’VE BEEN FUCKING WAITING FOR THIS YES
Can't believe Dylan didn't choose Halazia and Answer. Those two definitely in Ateez's top 3
icb ur checking out ateez (my current ults) like how long has it been since i am subbed for snsd reacts 😭 glad u enjoyed the ride Dylan!
Halazia, Cyberpunk, The Real, Hala Hala, Say my Name - great songs :D And Ateez Special Clip - Imagine Dragons Dance performance by San (If you want to torture yourself)
Storyline wise: They are PIrates. - which is why their leader is called "Captain". I'm not fully on the whole with the storyline, but they are using an hour glass and can travel between dimensions/worlds.
Thank you for the reaction 💕💕💕💕💕
Please do ateeezzzzz again 😭💕
Yay! Ateez!! So glad you reacted to them! They are amazing!!
Wow! I love that you're looking into boy groups more! As someone else already mentioned, please give Oneus a listen. Some good ones to try are Valkyrie, Lit, Luna, A Song Written Easily, and Same Scent.
i'm a long time subscriber and old kpop fan.. i honestly never thought i would see you react to ateez! they are my ult group in all of kpop, they are just that good. i immediately knew that you probably weren't gonna be a fan of bouncy and wonderland as they are both on the louder side of title-tracks that ateez has. but i promise you ateez has such a wonderful, diverse, and impressive discography. they are endlessly talented and they're also master performers. i'm honestly just over the moon that you liked what you heard and are interested in them!
i think i can give you some perfect recommendations. eternal sunshine, be my lover, illusion, answer, and halazia. there are a couple of b-sides i'd love to recommend, too. a few of them have mvs as well. utopia, aurora, promise, mist, and take me home. i think you would really enjoy all of these and i would be so happy to see another ateez video from you :') thank you so much!!
i feel like you would really enjoy eternal sunshine by them!!
I'll be waiting the part 2!
I feel like you'd like the MVs for Answer, Illusion, The Real and Guerrilla! I would love to see your reaction and theories hahah. Their debut song Pirate King is also great and it's kinda self explanatory.... they're pirates in the lore!
I've been yelling laughing at this entire commentary🤣🤣🤣
Me stopping after Wave thinking oh happy singing is what he likes, just wait. Whoever planned your lineup is out to get you!
not me giggling like a fool when you said you prefer vocals over rap and happy sounding songs......Ateez are a pretty even balance of rap and singing, and also a fair balance of upbeat, happy songs and heavy-hitting anthem songs. :D
They are doing a comeback on the 1st December ! Don’t hesitate to check it out !
Let's next go with Ateez Halazia and Guerilla!
omg… i’ve watched you since snsd times and I CANT BELIEVE URE ACTUALLY REACTING TO ATEEZ MY ULT GROUP ❤
Next batch of Ateez videos you should check out based on your preferences, Answer, Say my name, Eternal Sunshine, Turbulence, Aurora, and Dreamers. I also love Halazia, Guerilla, and Hala Hala but those are all a little more hard hitting songs.
dylan “lets break the wall”
so watch guerrilla then
The yelling is what makes it good! 😂
