Damn what an old obscure local reference! It warms my heart to hear old kine obscure references from da 80s and 90s dat most people either fogot or neva know in the first place.
Aloha 243 was the Flight number. Aloha had 13 737-200's. Only one of them, N73711 had it's roof blown apart. They clearly show the plane in the commercial to be N73712, which is not the plane that flew flight 243 on the day the accident happened. It stands to reason that since N73712 was shown twice, all views of the 732 are that of N73712. Much moreso than simply deciding that "Since it's a 737-200 with Aloha colors it MUST be the exact plane that had the incident".
Sure you can. The 732 depicted is N73712, the plane that few Aloha flight 243 that day was N73711. Besides, if you can't SEE it, what would you assume that it is that same plane as Aloha 243?
We have over 230 ways to get you between the Islands, and one of them is in a convertible 737! Feel the breeze through your hair, cool down at 30,000 feet and remember... bring your own oxygen! Fly Aloha!
Josh Eldridge 1 big wreck cause there multy million dollar planes so 1 little accident caused them to go out of business so now there's Hawaiian airlines so not just honalolo gets sued hole Hawaii gets sued
they couldn’t compete with hawaiian airlines. aloha airlines was meant to stop hawaiian bc hawaiian was the only airlines to fly from hawaii to mainland. so the state funded this new airlines (Aloha airlines) and like all government funded projects, it failed
From what I understand, intense competition with Go! airlines in 2007-2008. Go Airlines essentially undercut Aloha's prices until Aloha just couldn't compete anymore. Fuel cost was also getting high, and the airline's aircraft were getting old and were expensive to keep flying.
"now with the all new convertable edition"
