Jeep Wrangler Steering Wheel Alignment

Aligning a Jeep Wrangler Steering Wheel.
After a day of wheeling at Jericho State Park in New Hampshire my steering wheel was out of alignment. A quick fix to turn off the traction control light is to straighten the steering wheel until you can get a proper alignment done. This takes about 5 minutes and can be done with only a couple of tools

Thank you so much, after I got my Jeep lifted the steering wheel was off, I should have taken my Jeep back for them to make it straight, I'll do it myself thanks to your excellent video, but you're saying I should get a wheel alignment afterwards?

This method only straightens the steering wheel. If the wheels are not aligned properly, such as toe or camber, they will need to be adjusted properly. I’ve found local shops adjust to factory specs which a lifted jeep is no longer at. I only received a proper alignment after installing a lift when I brought it to a shop that only works on modified Jeeps ( and now broncos).

I clipped a trunk with my jeep earlier this year and alignment is off and Trac control randomly turns on. Will this completely fix the issue?

Probably not. This can get your wheel aligned with the steering wheel. But it’s possible you would need a more detained alignment. I’d recommend taking it to a shop to have it done properly

What you did is not wheel alignment , totally wrong,
from a wheel alignment technician.
