I see you have been given a deadline. I believe I know what deadline you are referring to and that's terrible and really dumb. Then they tell us all that they have a hard time finding enough staff and it's the general public's fault. This world is really stupid and we are devolving at a rapid rate.

SO helpful to see a woman doing this project!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've watched countless hours of dudes tiling and remodeling and found your video and you just made the whole process so much more approachable. Even just showing situations like when the bucket slips from in between your legs during the mixing process is a great reminder to smaller people what it looks like to tackle physical projects. I haven't seen that in a male video and wouldn't have really thought about! And a big thank you for showing every single step before hyper lapsing!

I love your videos. One handy tip. A gallon paint can is the same exact size as the toilet flange. I measure left to right off both surfaces. Then line up a paint can to my marks. Perfect every time. Then when your doing your floor, same. Measure to your edges, trace the paint can. . perfect every time.

Excellent. You’re about the 15th video I’ve watched and you did hands down the best job of covering and reinforcing the points a beginner would be most nervous or confused about as well as the things that would be easy to overlook (and in fact are skipped in all the other videos I watched) like tips to clean as you work to avoid a bunch of cleanup later. Your presence is so lovely, positive, encouraging and down to earth, so the whole experience was a joy. Thanks for an excellent job. ❤

Another great video Nassrin!!! Your cut out for the toilet flange is totally professional and the one made by my contractor looks like a complete hack job!!! Well done!
The velcro strap on the knee pads are too large for the diameter of your legs - you can add some padding to the inside of the straps where it contacts the back of your legs to cut down on the excess length so they won't fall off when you stand up. Or you can just add more padding on the inside of the knee pad cups and this basically does the same thing in taking up the excess slack on the straps.
@36:37 for the power tool electrical connection to the extension cord - before plugging the tool in, make an X with the end of the power tool plug and the end of the extension cord by laying one on top of the other. Then, take one cord and cross over the other and then plugging both together. This way, it forms an interlocking coupling that resists the electrical connection from being pulled apart if there is any tension on the cord as you pull it. Hope that helps.
Great job and keep the videos coming!

Nassrin, I was SO CLOSE to hiring someone to do my small bathroom to tile the floor (similar in size to the one you did in this video) then I randomly came across your video and realized I could do it myself. I am a handy person but was worried about messing up something that could be so hard to fix. I think laying out and cutting the tile before you ever mix the mortar is such a brilliant was to approach and plan this. By doing it like that it allowed me to take my time and get it done right. I just finished getting all the cuts done and the tile laid out so I can make sure I am happy with it and now today I begin the mortar! I really appreciate how thorough you were with both the process and your little tips to make our lives easier but also your cheerful "can do" attitude. So glad I found this video. You gave me the confidence boost I needed to take it on and now I can't wait to finish to start my master bathroom very soon! Thank you!

Only thing I would say is to use a half inch trowel for tile that big but it's really not that big of a deal unless it's really big tile. Amazing, clean job!

I see a lot of guys videos they never wear mask and I don’t know why they don’t wear a mask because the eyes cannot see the really fine dust particles that’s flying up in your face going up in your nostrils as you are breathing. Chemicals are what gets in our bodies thru the air causes problems later in life. I always wear a mask. I really love this channel.

I almost forgot to add, cuz I used to have the same problem with kneepads after I used them for a little bit. They arent expensive, and they definitely arent cool looking but I still think knee pads made by Barwalts tool company are my personal favorite. The ones that have the rubber straps that hook over the knobs on the side are the best for not sliding down in my opinion. you can put them on so tight they will start to cut off the circulation.but they dont stretch out or lose the ability to stay tight, or if they do just put them on another notch tighter. But they stay in place and they dont get snagged on anything if you are working on a rough surface. Like I said JMO, but especially anything with velcro or any kind of fabric straps or fabric on the face of the knee pads are garbage. They arent going to win any fashion shows but they are built to last also.

Not gonna lie, I'd just spent an hour or so watching other "handyman" tips and tricks videos and was really just a bit done. I saw this video in the feed and thought "okay, they've got a model that's going to show me how to lay tile... this should be hilarious!... I'm gonna check it out". Not hilarious. I learned more watching this than all of the other videos combined. I was on the fence as to whether this was something I felt I could do well or not. I have decided I'm going to do the bathroom myself after all. Really useful video, filled with tips and tricks. Thank you so much for putting this level of effort into it. Also, the out takes were pretty hilarious! Thanks for those as well :D

Excellent work. I've been doing it exactly the same way you've done for years. I'm glad you emphasized to make lines straight. Comb the trowel. Never swirl the trowel as that creates air pockets and tiles WILL (not could) crack eventually; and back butter is essential as well.
