Eg: definitions
2) use different study techniques
3)visual methods
Eg : mindmaps
4) auditory methods
5) read and write method
6) physical method
7) know which method is best for you

Many thanks, I been tryin to find out about "memorise anything" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Yiyevi Ponevi Approach - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some great things about it and my co-worker got excellent success with it.

For most of my subjects I'm a visual learner, but for grasping concepts rather than facts, I use auditory methods. Ever since I found out what works for me I've had much better study sessions! Great video Jess! 💙💜

Would you say using flashcards to take notes of the study material is a good method? Like i read through a chapter then looked up the flashcards online for the chapter and started using the flashcards to take notes for that chapter.

the repettition thing is my fav!
I love writing my notes over and over again, but I suggest to use a blue pen only, instead of other colours because it help you remember more.

I need help!!! Plz answer my question, anybody. I am a perfectionist. I like taking pretty notes, but one slip up and it's the end of the world for me. I rewrite the first 3 notes 7 times, but don't have time for the rest. I want to learn how to take nice notes without being " too perfect " plz help!!

I'm doing the same thing with a German speech... Daaaamn... I feel it's like another level of hard when you have little to no previous knowledge, so you can't use other words or ways to express yourself

try to record yourself speaking a sentence and check your pronuciation, while you are being perfectionst to yourself, you will memorize it. I do it all the time when I need to sing a japanese song. By the way I used this same method to learn hebrew and I have a good level of listening but I am not okay with speaking yet.

This was great, thanks, I've been looking for "instant memorization" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Yiyevi Ponevi Approach - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my buddy got excellent success with it.

Nicely produced video Jess, but you realize learning styles are a MYTH, right? All the latest academic research indicates they don't actually exist. I love your channel but I encourage you to research and validate your content before spreading information that isn't factually accurate.
Hi Sarah, I am not stating that there are 4 distinct learning styles, rather that the numerous ways we can best apply our learning can be categorised into 4 distinct groups. I do not believe in categorising or labelling people as belonging to only one of these groups, rather I encourage people to draw of different techniques depending on what they study to help enhance their learning and consolidate the information effectively. I simply use these learning styles to give examples of ways to help you memorise information. I hope that explains things better :)

4 types of learners is NOT A THING. Someone just made it up, and people got obsessed with it. In your video, you literally provide evidence that they are not a thing (by saying that you might be somewhere in the middle- everyone is in the middle!). It might be a good way to think about study, but for a lot of people, it is an unnecessary and cumbersome label.
