This was all Brandon’s mom’s fault. She didn’t even mention that the material from the spaceship could make him bleed to her husband, was in complete denial that her son’s a monster alien, wouldn’t listen to her husband and pulled an obvious predictable move to kill him which he saw coming. Now he’ll do what he was sent to do when he landed, take the world.
Some people are saying "Brightburn is a son Homelander wished he had". And I'm thinking NO! Homelander would not want a son that is much stronger then him.
People were weird about how they recieved the movie. It was foreshadowed at the start of the movie about the wasp that lays it's eggs in friendly beehives. Allows them to feed and raise it to maturation then the new wasp destroys the hive. Pretty straight forward. I loved the concept.
Now I start wondering at 3:38 was Brandon really telling the truth like did he really had enough of this destruction and killing realizing that After he kill his dad He wasn’t even sure if you wanted to kill his mom knowing he’ll be all alone without anyone to love him. But it is too late when she fearfully tries to kill him from behind and didn’t work man way to ruin the understanding moment
It's not a waste of time. It's basically a contrast to Superman. Where Clark was raised with kindness, humility, and respect, Brandon was raised with malice, deceit, and hate. Or do you think a child, who hasn't been taught any morality whatsoever, would not react to his or her own impulses when they get angry or upset?
@@jasonfultz7637 well for what he was dealing with was the fact that his parents lie to him from the beginning where being to lie was something that Brandon learned from his parents and suddenly he discovered that he was lied by his parents that weren’t really his parents, but let me say this one big lie can really change a person and look what it did to him
@@Emiliodelgado25I totally agree. My parents lied to me and said I WAS an alien and when I found out that I wasn't I didn't even have any super powers and couldn't even do anything about it
I gotta say the part where we saw Brandon flying with his mom as she pull her up in the sky, we were wondering why her face was red and I think it just shows how dangerous when bringing someone up in the air while flying can really be dangerous kind of peels your face “ouch”.
@@grendl74 yeah that might be true and yet The way Brandon was bringing her into the sky was really increasing her wound of the roof because man when he stopped, her face was all red from all that flying above
OK, that’s a good point but to me, I was just thinking about the way he was flying her up so high that part just shows how painful being pulled up so fast in the air feels like. At 4:17 yeah she looks like she was bleeding from the smash of the roof but at 4:25 you could see the parts of her face look like they were ripped from the lines. I’m seeing on her face where it look like Brandon really flew up so high very fast her wounds couldn’t handle it
@@jamelstallings Well, it was too much for me. I'll never forget how I felt when he dropped her. It was traumatic. I'd best stick to more heartwarming fare, like 12 Days a Salve or Rochelle, Rochelle.

To me it's horrifying that there are millions of people who can sit through 90 mins of this brain-dead fucking garbage and then walk away entertained. The 'Marvel Universe' is creating The Idiocracy Universe.

😊well said
We don’t know if there a good Lex Luther or a good Zod in brightburn universe to stop him
* meanwhile at Vought tower*
Homelander*eyes glowing Red watching brandon on the TV*
This is where the world needs a bitter, violence with no limit Bruce Wayne.

Deadpool: So dark. You sure you're not from the DC universe?

You would do the same this man went on a whole killing spree and killed everyone close to her
you can't trust a word Brandon say
So this is what would happen if Superman was the villain
This story has been done 8 billion times
That would be a good movie
Fun movie 🎉
The PTA would have a field day with this!
The adults decision making in the movie is the stuff of nightmares. Poor Brandon.
The mother would have been a hero to the world.
Is the dead woman pinned to the wall her sister (or the aunt)?
The eviscerated body is the mother of Erika, the girl that he liked and crushed her hand.
Movie can be filed under heading “you just can’t win” along with other boring horror movies
IM DONE SAVING YOU....
This movie is a waste of time. Just killing people. How can humans survive against this kind of pure evil

Like the Superman comic Red Son. Superman raised in Russia during the Cold war.
Wyldstyle (bleep) it up.

It's because her head was what broke through the roof.

Never understood the point of this movie. Was just pure evil, the whole concept.
That was the point.
The point was simply Superman, but evil. That's it. That's the point.
