- Today a friend and I are running two Traxxas Slash 4x4s with 3s lipo! I'm out today bashing the RCs at a local country park and just to have some fun, it's a mixture of surfaces and shots, including a lot of water! If you haven't used a Slash before I'd highly recommend one! The Slash can take some serious abuse and with this video you can see that, you need one.

I am running on the 13t Pinion, the 18t Pinion is for hard surfaces on however I've been running the high speed for serveral months without issue. This gives roughly 45MPH on 3s!

In this video we are running on 3s 6000MAH LIPO giving approximately 30 minutes of runtime each pack.
We are using both the LCG and the HCG chassic versions, LCG has OBA and TSM, the HCG does not. We're running the standard speed pinion as well.

The Slash is one of my all time favorites of my RC Trucks! Great fun video!!!
It is a grrat one but you do have to install a rod if inside because otherwise if you have one you might have nkticed it flips a lot:(
I have the 2WD Slash vxl and absolutely loves it so loving watching these videos even though they are 3 years old still very relevant to me cheers keep them up

Sweet park! Cool videos as always! I picked up another slash. But both are the LCG 4x4 with all the bells and whistles. I haven't dropped a 3s in yet only 2s. Found a killer deal, saved $100 on a new Sheldon Creed 74 addittion compaired to the Fox addition just purchased a month ago. Just finished putting GTR shocks on both.

Great Video the only thing is the spacers for the body clips go on the inside not on the outside it was just bugging me
The spacers are to stop the clips from ripping through the body, the do go on the outside. They bother me too tho...if you use a sharpie & color them black or blue or whatever the colors are on the body, they don't stick out so much.

Kind of in the middle. I'd say 1/9 scale as it is pretty big compared to other 10th scales.
