The tiny island of San Pedro is actually a small island off the coast of Belize. It was once a pristine, little known diving paradise. 1988, what an adventure. Puddle jumper, 20 minute flight from the Belize airport. Ahhh, I digress. Nothing ever stays the same.

I'm not a big Madonna fan, but I must admit that I like this song of hers.
Its rhythm combines Latin, flamenco and pop influenced arrangements, so in part that makes it something special and unites us Latin American people a little more with the so called Queen of Pop.
But beyond its romantic background and easily recognizable sound, this song has been incredibly interpreted by Bia once again, and of course, she manages to dethrone Madonna from her honorary nickname, because, times change, and according to that, so do the divas of the music industry.
I still can't forget your cover of "Material Girl", my #5 of all times of yours, with that radiant, colorful attitude and that cute smile that characterizes you, so yes, when it comes to Madonna, you really shine (oh, I had forgotten that you also did it with ABBA, the Bee Gees, The Beatles and every artist you imitate).
