That's probably because the Police suck IMO. But she sings it well, it sounds a lot better than the original.

To the song: the Original is one of my all time favorites. It was released 1983 from „The Police“ (the original video is also great, shot in Black & White). You sang it before together with Giulia under the SUKM-label and you both did it just as beautiful as now you in your solo-setting version. ❤❤❤
To the video: It‘s brillant! Some may ask - why? She is standing at a Staircase exit on a kind of balcony and is walking along a street. What is so special about it? Well, an outdoor video shows a piece of reality because you act in a natural surrounding, something that is not possible in the inevitably artificial studio environment. You as a singer in the real world. It creates authenticity. Of course not like a live performance in front of an audience (that's always the highest standard and the best), but for me an outdoor video comes right after that. Here your stage is the real environment, the light is completely different, everything looks natural and real. And you achieve this effect just by standing at the bottom of a staircase or walking along a street (of course you can increase this, but it was great to start with). It's probably more effort for you than in the studio, but it's worth it - believe me! You add a new accent to your repertoire and it makes you a bit more complete. At least you enchant me with a performance like that right away (of course you do it all the time, but this time even a bit more 🥰).
