Hi Thomas, if you're participants agree, it would be really interesting to see the various executions that the group did at one of the locations. You mentioned people had all different compositions at the glacier, some wide angle, some zoomed in. Would be great to see the different images resulting from that.
Hi Thomas, I just returned from Alaska this morning and I was on a 5 day trip there. I was blown away by the beauty of the landscape, the Alaskan mountain range, The Talkeetna Mountain Range and Kenai Mountains. First question that popped up in my head was, has Thomas been to Alaska?! And I quickly searched for a youtube video of Alaska, from you. But didn't find anything. I encourage and invite you to visit Alaska and spend a week or two there. You'll love it. It has the best mountain ranges, landscapes, waters, arctic circle, aurora too if you like them. I have never seen anything like that in your videos so far. So it'll be something new I guess for you too.
Another Fantastic video and just noticed your calendar is now available. Early Christmas treat, and no hesitation in ordering thanks for re-inspiring me to go out searching for new landscape photography pictures.
World class! I love your adventure videos. You're one of the reasons I began my channel and I really appreciate all you do and the inspiration you give me to go and make more videos! Thanks Tom!
Awesome underwater shot of you skipping the stone! Just the little things like that - the extra effort for a cool shot, that might even go over peoples heads. Love it, keep up the good work
Hi Thomas my buddy!! Awesome Video. You have to be very careful with the berries. You ate the wrong one.... There are 2 different sort of berries. There are the blueberries with the more yellow an longer thinner leaves. And than there are the "Rauschbeere" in German, with the more green round leaves. Rausch means intoxication. There are a bit dangerous because of mushrooms which grow on the plant. They can cause stomach pain and dizziness. The easiest way to keep apart ist the pulp. The blueberries have dark pulp and the Rauschbeere white pulp. I hope you are all good! Hope to meet you someday!
Hi Thomas, There's also a nice story to be told about the "Edelweiss": In the past, it was common in some regions for a young man to go and pick an Edelweiss for his love, it was seen as a proof of real manhood. I've also heard that sometimes it was the decisive reason if he was allowed to marry someones daughter :D After all, a nice video, keep it up!
The very beautiful scenery is outstanding! These mountains are stunning and the weather looked to be at your advantage. Thank you for sharing this video log of your trip, looking forward to your further videos of this trip. That cable bridge was unbelievable, what a view you must have had!! Thank You!
In italy we call the flower "stella alpina" that means alpine star. Once, when i was a child, i saw a dried flower, belonging to the grandfather of a friend of mine who fought the WW2 on alps. He kept the flower inside his diary during his internation in mauthausen
Cool Bridge! bucket list add: THeat Swiss Alps Photography Tour. 1) Settings... what were your settings. 2) didn't look windy, why the rock weights on the tripod ?? 3) what do you use to stitch your pano shots together?
Did you hike from Cabane de Louvie to Cabane de Chanrion? Also, is the glacier at 3:50 the glacier d’Otemma which is linked with the glacier d’Arolla? If not, can you share the hiking route?
I think it was from Cabane Brunet to Cabane FXB Panossière. 7km distance with an ascent of 608m and a descent of 80m, duration ~3 hours. Here's a link with the hike: www.outdooractive.com/en/hiking-trail/wallis/from-cabane-brunet-to-cabane-fxb-panossiere/25481144/
Such beautiful scenery and more great images for next years calendar. What is the name of the hike and glacier in Switzerland? Heading to the UK and Europe next year and will be looking for beautiful hikes like this one.
I look around at the people you are guiding.. and see all the different cameras being used.. I don't know what they all are , doesn't matter though, nice to see everyone just doing there thing regardless of gear choice(unlike the internet where it seems like too much arguing about who's is better is so rampant)
Hey Tom awesome video again. I have been very excited for the video of Switzerland. Your images are just phenomenal. Can you tell me how YOU level your ball head for panoramics?
I think the national anthem of Austria (?) is named for the Idelvise (spelling?) flower. In any case there is such a song. * Jet trails come out easily in Photoshop, ON1, etc. * I hadn't seen this video yet. I'm running out of ones I haven't seen.

That first pano of the weather over the sun-lit peaks is just beautiful.
Eidelweiss, you lucky sod! I spent every summer as a kid and a teenager in the alps, looked for it, and never saw it.
You can find some around Zermat :-)
I am wondering if you searched them at the right places. I am meeting edelweiss flowers regularly
The hills are alive, with the sound of shutters :-D

That trail and bridge are definitely not for the faint of heart. My legs would turn to rubber. Great scenery and great shots, per usual.
Holy crap! That's an awesome shot @6:48!
You are killing me with these shots...
Amazing images Thomas and if I had any of those images in my camera, I would be a happy person indeed
Ditto 👌
Making those mid-week Wednesdays bare-able - looks like an epic trip so far and how amazing is that weather! Thanks Thomas - keep it up!
As usual,,, epic Tom,
It's amazing how they can get building material that high in the mountains! Great video, as always.
Well, crossing those fingers every year must help. Glad you (and the rest) got such lovely conditions. Thanks for sharing yet again buddy.
I like what you do Thomas, greetings from Romania!

ahhh so thats what edelweiss looks like, great video
Also looking forward to knowing how you got on with the tripod
The simplicity of your photography is stunning, that's what I mean by landscape photography, no need to buy presets or working hours on a raw file.
Cool that you also included the camera settings 👍📸
Another great one from the master of landscape photography
Where where you Thomas? Looks like a gorgeous hike
I cannot believe how organized are those trekking places in Switzerland!
Nice, very nice Tom
A trial in the blue sky at 11.50 min in the video... Nice
Great video Tom, as always! The GoPro videos added more than I expected! And a million thanks for the shout out!
Stunning sceneries :) Beautiful captures. Thank u
Just impressive, it could been nice to capture a panamoric that shows the light in diferentes sets of the sunrise like a kind of progression
Jonas is in you video, you guys on the same trip that was cool to see! 😃😃
Stunning Thomas. So relaxing to watch. You’re videos make my week.
Thank you
Just awesome
Excellent video, Thomas, and great images as usual. Greetings from Brazil.
Great music
I'm a botanist :D thanks so much for filming that awesome plant. I wish I could have been on that hike to take a photograph of it :)
Sound of music Thomas
I didn't think that there was anyone who hadn't heard of that! Especially in Europe. Check it out Thomas, great musical!

"The hills are alive, with the sound of music..."
Maybe we are old Wes ;-)
I'm "I know the entire melody (though not all the words) of 'Edelweiss' " years old.
Missing the drone footage already Tom. That glacier was begging for a top down clip.
Still a lovely piece of work though 👌🏻
Just wonderful 👍
Hi I agree with a comment I just seen to see all the shots taken around the same time everyone see things different. How is that tripod doing as well
Amazing loved it

Fantastic as always. Making me jealous video by video. I will get out traveling one day.
great background score ..
I liked the sky and clouds in the first two images, then the cloudless sky worked nicely in the morning image. Great video 👍🏻
Your panoramic view came out pretty good in my opinion.
He just LIKES his breakfast :). Keep it on Thomas, good work man!
"Join me in less than a second"... *TH-cam inserts 3 second advert* 😂
Beautiful scenery stunning locations
You do some awesome work! Keep it up 🤙🏼
Hey Thomas, were you not tempted to try for some astro photography up high away from all the annoying light cast by cities in the UK?
The flower info was really great. 👍😀
Hey Tom awesome video again. I have been very excited for the video of Switzerland. Your images are just phenomenal.
Can you tell me how YOU level your ball head for panoramics?
Beautiful editing 👏👏👏👏👍
brilliant, now I want some blue berries :P
Stunning images and location 👍

When o when are you coming to New Zealand? You’d love it here (although to be honest the huts aren’t up to the Swiss standards!)
I'm glad Thomas subscribes to the catch and release technique for rocks. LOL
Thomas, i would highly recommend you should try to find a way to visit or set up workshop in Nepal. I will guarantee that you won't be disappointed.
Great video Thomas. Is hiking the only way to that lodge? It looks well worth a visit.
Absolutely stunning! (hope you could hear my best British inflection) Seriously, those images were incredible.
Leader of the pack ;)
