Totally ❤ - This one has been on our radar but we haven’t found the time on this month’s trip to pencil it in 😢 I do hope they keep it running through May because the Peking Duck being on an AYCE buffet is worth the price alone. -Paul
I would certainly Not start with pork belly. That would be my absolute last meat choice unless they were also offering sausages. She's still talking about Pork Belly!! WTF is this endorsed by the PAC for Pork?
You’re supposed to put the Peking duck inside the bao bun with the greens and hoisin sauce. This is the way to eat Peking duck. To Chinese, desert is fruit and/or lychees.
The seafood buffet at Resorts World is legit! The freshness of the seafood and dishes like the Peking duck make it worth every penny. A must-try for buffet lovers!
We paid more than $68 at the Wynn only to eat crab legs so yeah $68 for crab legs, Peking duck and snails, it's a good deal and the restaurant looks great. I'll add this to my list! Thanks Ruby.
@TravelRuby, i should have hit you guys up in December when my wife and i were there, totally forgot :-( ill remember next time and buy you guys a drink (or 2)
Scallops! Very seldom see those on a buffet. At $25.00 a pound, yep, could do this buffet. Plus oysters, shrimp, crab, sounds excellent. Seems like you feel most everything was quite tasty. Thank you. Glad you could enjoy it.
It appears to be a very pretty restaurant! However, I am not a seafood fan, so there seems to be little for me to enjoy! Ruby, as usual a great interesting review! Thank you!
This place is definitely on our radar - Thanks for making this video and all the food looked AMAZING!!! You had me at Black Truffle Lobster dumplings ❤ (even if the truffle wasn’t present in flavor) -Paul
Wow we did the Wednesday buffet at Genting Palace and it was all horrible, cold, overcooked bland- we regretted not just ordering from the menu. Maybe the soup was ok and one of the dumplings were ok. This was in early December so guessing that they did a full overhaul! So glad you had a great experience. We love RW , it’s our go-to place to stay & gamble, so we didnt expect to be so disappointed… Maybe we’ll give it one more try?
For whelk, most of the time we eat it sliced up like calamari. When it's sliced up and served chilled it's also called scungilli salad, and it has the same consistency as chilled calamari salad.
Just a note...you put the meat in the bao...like you could open it in the middle to put the peking duck or the braised pork belly...even the roasted pork...i've noticed it in this video and a previous video :) hopefully in the future you could enjoy it together. You could pair the hoisin with the duck and there should be green onions or even cucumbers available to pair with it.
It just opened so all fresh! Lol.not trying to knock you justlaughing..in pain and awake too long...many great recipes are here on you tube. Like a dark Boston style lobster sauce and shrimp..same sauce used for lobster Cantonese style.
Probably won’t see this but I need advice for a group trip. Trying my best to not use through booking websites but the hotels don’t let you add more than 4 at a time. Or if anyone has advice much appreciated.
You mentioned that you used to teach a cooking class, If you ever decide to do a cooking channel I would definitely love to watch. You know your stuff and i would love to watch you cook and bake. As always a great video! Thank you both!
Yeah, 不太甜 or “not too sweet” is a common compliment for a dessert. And a lot of “desserts” would barely taste like dessert to the American palate. Most American desserts are often considered way too sweet.
@@bestickets lol no one is saying an individual Chinese can’t love desserts, but as a cultural trend there are less sweet desserts overall. An American could like durian or a Dutch person could hate licorice, but overall those cultures tend to like and dislike certain flavors.
hello Ruby, happy new year to you and your husband. I love your segment i’m gonna visit that buffet that you just finished doing for $63, Ruby. I have some friends coming in town. Do you happen to know of a good catfish restaurant I could take them to? Please advise thank you.
This is the first buffet I’ve seen that appeals to me. Aside from the fatty “stuff” that is 😝. I love good Asian food, something we can’t find in the mid-Midwest too often. Cute earrings! Thanks for finding this place!
We’re going to the Fountainebleau (kingroom best stripview) next june, but we’ve heard that nowadays the Fountainebleau is more like a ghost hotel. Can you make an update video of that hotel for your next video :)?
Waaaaaaay more expensive than scallops. The shipping cost alone to get it fresh from Arrakis is mind-boggling. Not to mention the premiums on worm hunter life insurance.
Is there a time limit for buffet? Boston lobster feast was 50 last time there..but baby lobsters so ive not been back in long time..and im spoiled they were not super fresh lobster..not bad but stressed by climate change i think..
Ruby, you had a Asian faux pas on how you ate that Peking Duck. The Peking Duck is supposed to go into the white bao/shell and you're supposed to put Hoi Sin sauce on it along with other condiments and toppings they may have, typically some green onions and veggie strips. The way you ate the Peking Duck was akin to eating a hamburger as pattie only then eating the buns afterward. Oops! My wife freaked out when she saw you do that. Glad you made up for it at the end and owning up to the mistake. However, you get major kudos for your snake theme jewelry as it's the Year of the Snake in the Chinese Lunar Calendar. My daughter's birth year. A Big Fan.....love your content
I'd start with the shrimp and crab legs and stay there to get my $68 value. Skip chicken and pork. No vegetables, rice, noodles or dumplings. NO SNAILS! I'm with Mr Ruby, eat my weight in prawns. Snow crab requires too much work for return but these are cracked already. Prefer them hot.
What do you think of this buffet? Would you try it?
Totally ❤ - This one has been on our radar but we haven’t found the time on this month’s trip to pencil it in 😢
I do hope they keep it running through May because the Peking Duck being on an AYCE buffet is worth the price alone.

I thought $68 bucks was totally fare for that buffet. Looked quality over quantity.
Amazing price for what they offer. I'd come here in a heartbeat.
I usually visit LV mid-week, but I'd try the buffet then.

Like a duck taco with bao wrap.
Good to know! Thx
The seafood buffet at Resorts World is legit! The freshness of the seafood and dishes like the Peking duck make it worth every penny. A must-try for buffet lovers!
The dining room is gorgeous. I want those chairs !
Is it seafood every night ?
You're looking great, Ruby! Whatever you're doing, keep it up!
I could tell you loved the food, because, you were taking second bites before telling us how you liked it - a very good sign!
Mr. Ruby finishes the rest. One bite for Mrs. Ruby means not again.
We paid more than $68 at the Wynn only to eat crab legs so yeah $68 for crab legs, Peking duck and snails, it's a good deal and the restaurant looks great. I'll add this to my list! Thanks Ruby.
@TravelRuby, i should have hit you guys up in December when my wife and i were there, totally forgot :-( ill remember next time and buy you guys a drink (or 2)
Genting Palace is top tier restaurant, so the price is in pocket with what they are offering. Good stuff!!!
Good to know. Thanks
I liked your description of DARN GOOD. These days most of Vegas buffets look like a cafeteria hot mess. But this one I may have to give it a try.
Very nice. Fruit is actually enough for me at the end of a meal. Great atmosphere. ❤
I love your holy Toledo face. Great video Ruby and Mr Ruby. Take care 💞. Helena
Great video Ruby !! Thanks for the analysis, either pro or con, of each sampling.
Ruby and Resort World are the #1 "cannot miss" in Vegas
Love watching these videos!! 🍤🍜🦪
I would park in front of the pork, duck, crab legs and oysters. 😋
“It’s time for some seafood…A Creamy Corn Chicken Soup.”😂😂😂😂❤
It looks like a great buffet ❤😊
Just added this buffet to my Vegas bucket list.
Absolutely love your food reviews ❤
Scallops! Very seldom see those on a buffet. At $25.00 a pound, yep, could do this buffet. Plus oysters, shrimp, crab, sounds excellent. Seems like you feel most everything was quite tasty. Thank you. Glad you could enjoy it.
How about bacon wrap scallops?
It appears to be a very pretty restaurant! However, I am not a seafood fan, so there seems to be little for me to enjoy!
Ruby, as usual a great interesting review! Thank you!
Great review Ruby and Mr.!
It was great meeting you again at Resort World since grand opening.
This place is definitely on our radar - Thanks for making this video and all the food looked AMAZING!!!
You had me at Black Truffle Lobster dumplings ❤ (even if the truffle wasn’t present in flavor)

Looks good, not a bad price for this buffet, not too big sometimes its overwhelming with the choices. no dessert is a bit disappointing
Wow we did the Wednesday buffet at Genting Palace and it was all horrible, cold, overcooked bland- we regretted not just ordering from the menu. Enjoyed the review! 🍀🍀🍀
For whelk, most of the time we eat it sliced up like calamari. When it's sliced up and served chilled it's also called scungilli salad, and it has the same consistency as chilled calamari salad.
Awesome review…. And that price is so reasonable for a Vegas seafood dinner on the strip! It’s almost cheap!
I desperately want to eat that buffet! Watching from Oregon 🍜🍛🍤🥟🍜🥟🍚🍛 😋
Hahahaha!
Who literally applauded for Ruby eating a green bean besides me?
Chinese green beans are so good!! I get a plate of those with white rice. Yummy 😋
😂 I did bc she asked to 👏 👏 👏 Yay, Ruby ❤
Thank you! We will be checking it out on our vacation.
Always love the buffet reviews. I gotta have classic desserts though (not just fruit).
Great review. Thank you ❤.

The black bean chicken looked really good, the next time I come to Las Vegas I will try their buffet
Yes black bean with chicken, shrimp, squid etc....
This looks like an amazing place. Food looks delicious. We will be visiting here next time in Vegas.
Everything looks sooooo fresh! I would definitely try this buffet, and I don’t even like seafood 😂
Going to Las Vegas just for the buffet now!
Your earrings and ring are awesome! year of the Snake. ( and Rep TV lol) 💚
It just opened so all fresh! Lol.not trying to knock you justlaughing..in pain and awake too long...many great recipes are here on you tube. Like a dark Boston style lobster sauce and shrimp..same sauce used for lobster Cantonese style.
I love Asian food!
I usually had the corn chowder with spicy sesame oil to put on top
I've been wanting to check out this place.
Hola! New Mexican here! Chicken +corn chowder =YUM!
I make an amazing, if I say so myself, green chile chicken corn chowder.😂
Probably won’t see this but I need advice for a group trip. Trying my best to not use through booking websites but the hotels don’t let you add more than 4 at a time. Or if anyone has advice much appreciated.
Best line of the video: "I'm eating a vegetable, everybody applaud."
Great review, did not realize Resorts world had a buffet
Very nice! Thank you!!!
You mentioned that you used to teach a cooking class, If you ever decide to do a cooking channel I would definitely love to watch. You know your stuff and i would love to watch you cook and bake. As always a great video! Thank you both!
I spent $40 for 2 sausage egg muffins, a tall cappuccino & small milk at PH Srarbucks. After that, anything is a better deal!
Great new buffet!
people complaining about no dessert but for chinese, fruit = dessert
Ya they don’t really eat all thoses unhealthy stuff much.
Yeah, 不太甜 or “not too sweet” is a common compliment for a dessert. And a lot of “desserts” would barely taste like dessert to the American palate. Most American desserts are often considered way too sweet.
I disagree. I’m Chinese and I love desserts, not just fruits.
Mostly served B4 the main meal in USA.

i love yur earings and ring ty for sharing this
I’m not skilled with chopsticks either. I use a fork too when it comes to the rice 😊
Practice makes perfect. Use a bowl instead.
@ thanks for the tip!
This is the first buffet I’ve seen that appeals to me. Aside from the fatty “stuff” that is 😝. I love good Asian food, something we can’t find in the mid-Midwest too often. Cute earrings!
Thanks for finding this place!
It looks amazing, but I feel like dessert would put it over the top - isn't that the best part of the buffet?!
Looks great
Those snails need slow cooking in a conch stew-like US VI STYLE flavors, and ..what a difference in texture
You can use the knife there on the table to cut the meat into bite size pieces.
I tried the Bacchanal buffet at Caesar's last month and was totally underwhelmed. This one looks much better and at only 2/3 the price.
What? What are you talking about? The Bacchanal absolutely destroys this tiny buffet.
Thank you!
Looked yummy
Corn chowder is great when made with chicken thighs. Add finely diced celery and red bell peppers 15 minutes before serving.
With all the pork belly on the buffet I'm surprised they don't have a cardiac machine next to the table. Nice
is this buffet seasonal or will they have all year?
It looks yummy ❤😊
I really enjoyed this video ❤
Is there a time limit?
I wondered that
My imaginary Saturday night buffet in Vegas!
Would you recommend this buffet over the $100 chicken at Wally's? I only have time for one meal at RW. I didn't really see any cooked seafood..?
Didn't know: Ruby was a cooking instructor. She has more cred than an average foodie.
Soup looks like egg drop with add inns
I love resorts world
I want to try an amish buffet ❤😊
We’re going to the Fountainebleau (kingroom best stripview) next june, but we’ve heard that nowadays the Fountainebleau is more like a ghost hotel. Can you make an update video of that hotel for your next video :)?
Great price! You should fo it 3 times per week.
How much is parking for locals?
Sand worms from Dune? hahah (thanks for being brave)
Looks exceptional

didnt she have it that way at the end?
I did say that she made up for the mistake at the end. All good now.
Save the best for last.
Dancing 💃 Ruby
I would not try it, but that’s on me. I would go for maybe three items, leaving the rest. I need a buffet that’s not quite as limited.
This isn't a seafood buffet. It's considered as a Chinese buffet pay $20 extra for having Crabs. Lol
Going here tonight for my birthday
I'd start with the shrimp and crab legs and stay there to get my $68 value. Skip chicken and pork. No vegetables, rice, noodles or dumplings. NO SNAILS!
I'm with Mr Ruby, eat my weight in prawns. Snow crab requires too much work for return but these are cracked already. Prefer them hot.
was there no fish?
Disappointing.
Whooooooooooooaaa super Delish!!
Thank you! You are looking fabulous! Nice review.
The whelks should be eaten with hoisin sauce.
Big fan of Utah im Jared 34 day question for me
Hi ruby I know norma living in las vegas
I loooooove seafood !!!
Why did they put seafood right next to the fruit? I never understand that.
Aunt Marge from Harry Potter ate a funny whelk and got sick! 🤣😅😆😁 Stay away!
Are truffles vegan? Aren't they found using pigs or dogs?
I am impressed! I am game for a Thai cooking class!
Thai basil is delicious especially in some pho 😋
Thanks for sharing what appears to be a great value for a excellent buffet... Like you I would enjoy at least a cheesecake to top off the experience😋
