I appreciate how you discussed handicap accessible on the ship. I have to use a scooter when traveling and learned a lot from watching your sister navigate the ship. How does she go excursions with the scooter? I find myself mainly staying on ship or going to the local ports. I would love to do an all incusive resort in Cozumel.
No problem! So she doesn’t need to be in a scooter full time so she may do an excursion that has limited walking or an accessible excursion. The cruiselines will offer some that are scooter or wheelchair accessible (not many options though, unfortunately). It can be hard finding 3rd party options for excursions and unfortunately some of the ports just aren’t very ADA friendly.
For Cozumel you can see about getting. An accessible taxi van (I have seen a couple there). Paradise Beach Club would be mostly accessible (except for the beach). They do have a couple beach wheelchairs available on a first come, first served basis. But definitely call to confirm because things change.
This was an 8C category. Just a standard balcony cabin. Pretty much anything in the “8 category” will be this size with the exception of accessible cabins.
That dance competition was explosive. Ol' boy took the show. Your sister was so focused on pouring that punch like someone who's concentrating on making a good pan of dressing. 😃 I enjoyed your video.
Hi, rewatching this vlog because we’ll be on the Valor December 2024. Wondering if you know how they embark those with Autism? Do you think it would behoove us to get faster to the fun? Christian is Autistic and epileptic. Stressful situations cause seizures so I research every time we travel extensively - to avoid any episodes. Love your vlogs! Thanks for any info you can provide! ~ Inge 😸
Thanks for watching! You need to be sure to have your travel advisor or Carnival to note on your booking that he is autistic and epileptic. When you arrive at the terminal, after you go thru check in, you should be directed to the area for guests needing to support (wheelchairs, special needs, etc). This section always boards first. Sometimes they won’t direct you, but you can just tell an agent that your son has autism and you’d like to be in this section to avoid the crowd getting on the ship. It’s not a problem at all!
Ohhhh first terminal I’ve ever seen with refreshments you can purchase before getting on ship!!! Lol, when you said drinks half price on 1st day, I was just thinking, you can save the drink, and sip for few days if you’re not a heavy drinker; looks like you’ll had the same ideal 😎 I love girl trips!!! I’ll tune in to see where you’ll destinations are on this cruise 🛳 I’m really enjoying myself from this video, getting my dancing on right with you’ll 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽Thanks for sharing!!!
I love seeing you live it up with your girls! Looks like it was a fun embarkation day! Also I binge watched from the tv yesterday so don’t mind me, I’m about to catch up on comments 😂
The rooms were clean and so was the ship- but there was a pretty bad sewage smell particularly around the midship elevator area. Seriously smelled like something died in the elevator. The smell was bad in or near or cabin.
I have cruise out if NO twice and never ran into a line like that it could be the time you come to …. I was tickled at y’all and those pitchers in the pub I do that and I think I got it from you awhile ago and now I always go on first day and drink on it all cruise…. And it’s funny the different cruise ports play different music based off the area
SAILAWAY PARTY IS ALWAYS THE BEST
They played the same songs when I went on Valor...loved the Louisiana flare and learning the different line dances
Yes it was a lot of fun!
Love that they were playing blues at the sail away party lol ❤
Yes I loved it too! Very different from any other sailaway.

May I ask what category cabin was this? It looked so spacious!!
This was an 8C category. Just a standard balcony cabin. Pretty much anything in the “8 category” will be this size with the exception of accessible cabins.
Wow!! Thank you for your quick response. I enjoyed your vlog💜

YESS FOR DRINKS
Who do you rent the scooter from?
It’s a company called Scoot Around. You can book with them online. They work directly with the cruiselines. Just be sure you have an accessible cabin.

wooooow now this was a MUCH BETTER sail away party than we had on the valor...
you skipped guys for wok?! 😨
Ha ha. Yep! I like Guys but I don’t usually get it as soon as we get onboard. The boys usually stop there first
Are any of the pool or got tube wheelchair accessible?
Hello. It’s been 2 years since I’ve been on this ship but I do think the pool at the back of the ship has a lift.

Thank you for watching! This was one of the best sailaway parties. We will visit Cozumel and Progreso in this series.
An awesome kickoff to the girl's cruise! Valor was my first solo cruise in 2016. ❤
Loved Valor!
Wow I can't believe you never heard of the pokey bear !
Never 🤷🏽♀️. But I liked it!
I love seeing you live it up with your girls! Looks like it was a fun embarkation day!

Hey quick question...did the smell go away and was the ship / rooms clean?

@@MHFamilyAdventures o wow!! We are sailing in another week and I hope they have taken care of that!!🤣
WE DID NOT GET TO TRY THAT ON LAST CRUISE

Yes that line was crazy. I’m thinking it was just due to the rain. We had a 10am checkin time.
LORDDDDDDDD THAT IS A LONG LINE
We all need a girl's trip!! It looked like y'all had fun. Hope the ship smelled better as the cruise went on. 😬
Ha ha yes it started to smell better. Must’ve just been while we were docked in New Orleans.
WOW THEY SHOULD LET THE,M GET ON EARLY TO GET THEM OUT THE WAY
Watched the replay. Nice tip on the happy hour drinks. Did they last in the fridge or does it lose its potency due to the ice?
Thanks for watching. We got our pitchers with no ice so they lasted! I was surprised they actually filled the pitchers up when we requested no ice
Another pitcher of kool aid please 😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣 the blue kind!
