In this video we will be comparing the top variants with manual transmission of both cars. Mahindra XUV 3XO AX7 1.2 MT is priced at Rs. 12.49 Lakh and Maruti Suzuki Brezza 1.5 MT is priced at Rs. 12.58 Lakh. The prices mentioned are ex-showroom.
This video compares the Value and Cost-Effectiveness of cars over time. It considers the on-road price, fuel cost, maintenance cost, size, performance, and unique features.
XUV 3XO’s 1.2-Litre turbo petrol engine makes 111PS of maximum power & 200Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, Brezza is available with a 1.5-Litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 103PS of maximum power and 137Nm of peak torque.
The 2024 XUV 3XO is 3990mm long, 1821mm wide and 1647mm tall. The XUV 3XO has a 2600mm long wheelbase. In comparison, the 2024 Brezza is 3995mm long, 1790mm wide and 1685mm tall. The Brezza has a 2500mm long wheelbase.
Bigger exterior dimensions give a car a stronger road presence. A long wheelbase makes the car more stable at high speeds and gives better legroom in the back seat, while a shorter wheelbase makes the car more agile.

Yes, V3 cars should base their calculations on real fuel efficiency of turbo engines rather than blindly relying on Arai figures.
Major concern in boot space and milage 3XO. Yes definitely it's future rich and premium inside.
Perceived value will differ from person to person. For example someone looking to buy a car may not consider 3xo in the checklist due to constrained bootspace, for that person the perceived value of 3xo is zero. Similarly a person may not consider brezza in the buying list due to its limited features and non sporty engine then brezza's perceived value is zero. Also v3cars should recognise that company claimed mileage will always be higher than real world mileage and therefore only take user reported mileage into account. @@venkateshanantharaman6773

Brezza zxi and zxi+ have mild hybrid tech, it has 20 claimed mileage that is why most reviewers claim that brezza has higher mileage, though it is similar to XUV but in real world it has better mileage. Please correct it v3cars

There's no adas in AX5 and AX7 models. To get adas you need to upgrade to AX5L or AX7L.

Fuel cost is wrong, because turbo engines require xp95 while NA engine works fine with xp91 so fuel itself is cheaper for brezza. Moreover, milega will be more for brezza. Taking reference of delhi petrol prices, 3x0 will run 8 km in 100 rs petrol(xp95) as 8 kmpl mileage in city while brezza will run 12 km in 94 rs petrol(xp91)

Great video. But 3XO AX7 should be compared with equivalent variant of Creta (SO or SX Tech maybe) as Mahindra also compared with creta in their presentation.
@V3Cars Please manually check the ground clearance of 3xO. Multiple experts have claimed that the ground clearance of 3xo is exactly same as 300, which is 180mm. so the 201mm claim from mahindra is misleading to say the least. They also say the improvement in that regard was in approach and departure angles.
Yes, 201 is only for variants with 17 inch tyre size.
Their boot space is also misleading, calculating till roof, actual 295..

Sir actual boot space of 3xo is only 295..mahindra is calculating space till roof without parcel tray.. Which is like fraud, if one calculate brezza boot till roof it will be above 400 litre..

@@vinayk177 see there is no review of this base on any channel, also when i checked specs on car wale it is showing 3 cylinder diesel with 4 valves and 5 MT , and i am also confused so for that you have to go to showroom only ,but see tata diesel is good than petrol so in terms of performance you will get around 115 hp but does 5 MT have any effect on performance and mileage i am not sure, but see in all base of nexon you will get 5 MT only so i dont think it will have much effect on mileage but yes performance can be little lower
@@snehaldharmik2147 thanks bro. Even I m also confused whether they are providing new diesel engine (3 cylinder with 5MT ) or same diesel engine with only change in transmission (5MT) for base model. Even i tried to check in all channels but didn't get any information. Tata should have provided 6 MT for base model in diesel engine as 5MT ll not be refined and tuned.

Brezza have 17% cess + 28% GST as it houses 1499 cc petrol, they should play like tata,mahindra so as to lower that cess which will lower their price also can give more features
Everything is correct except milage thing. Don't compare on paper milage. In real day to day 3xo will never give more milage than Brezza in city and even on Highway due to it's powerful turbo engine. Anyone travelling maximum on highway should go with 3xo but for city brezza will be good choice.

Again 'practically' it is known mahnindra's claimed mileage is joke compared to the claimed mileage of brezza yet again you continue with your 'theoritical' calculations.
People expect real and practical calculations and reviews not claimed and theoritical numbers.
The vehicles are out there please test drive them before giving reviews and analysis.

Claimed mileage by Mahindra or even by any other manufacturer is more often than not way off the actual number. You shouldn't give points on theoretical numbers bcoz as we can see, many people here are thinking brezza & xuv 3xo are more or less the same in mileage. While, in reality the brezza is ahead with a decent margin

Mileage chahiye to wagonr or cng gaadi lele..iske liye Suzuki brings cheaper parts, cheaper engines to increase mileage. Tin can cars with poor safety rating to reduce weight and increase mileage.
Also there is considerable turbo lag in 3xo AT unlike Brezza. So 3xo is a big no for city drives. Your channel only focuses on 'theory' and less on 'practicality'.

XUV does give more mileage because brezza actually has a good build structure and thus has some heft to it in comparison to their cheaper tin cans and therefore it is not a leader in fuel economy in its segment.
Check other Mileage test videos. You will see 3xo gives way less than claimed mileage where as brezza gives very much close to claimed mileage.

3xo comes with the same engine as XUV 300 which has had 5 years of history. They are also offering free road side assistance for 3 years and a lot more..not saying that Mahindra is better than Suzuki but they are bringing products that are VFM.

Untill 90 to 100 kmph the engine is not stressed. Beyond that, the nvh levels start increasing & you can clearly feel the engine working harder than what it was designed for. Brezza is an ideal city car with enough torque in the lower end. A bigger engine means you can even start over from higher gears plus the refinement.
Also, the NA requires lesser maintenance.

@@V3cars-Official Yes for both the cars, but then you shouldn’t rely on ARAI because their results are not practical, they test in a controlled environment. And you as an auto review channel should test the efficiency yourself and take that as FE figure. People buy cars, spend money on your recommendation so you can’t just recommend cars on the basis of spec sheet and claimed FE. That’s a teenager can know. How the car drives in real life condition and how much fuel it consumes practically is what people require. Be practical, be unbiased. You’re already doing a good job, so match up to that reputation, don’t disappoint us. 😶

@@V3cars-Official because that FE figures are not yours, that’s claimed. Claimed means it favours the brand not the people. So anyway it doesn’t help the people because there is a huge gap between the ARAI claimed fuel efficiency of both the cars where in real life condition it isn’t and depends on how one drives. So if people rely on ARAI, on your words(based on ARAI) and don’t get that figure after purchasing then there will be a chaos and rage and disappointment. That’s why i told you not to refer ARAI, rather your own tested data.
@cruze86 Using ARAI figure for both doesn't make us biased. If the figures are bloated, they're bloated for both. As far as actual figures are concerned, even a teenager knows they're going to be less than the claimed figures. We understand you want to know the actual figures, but since it's the difference between both the cars' efficiency that drives a result here, it won't make much of an impact on the verdict.
Also, let's assume the Brezza turns out to be more efficient, that too by Rs 40,000 over a period of 5 years, even that doesn't change the verdict. More than taking a logical takeaway from the content, you're unnecessarily making a mountain of a mole hill.

Boot space cannot be the only deal breaker. If you are using it as a taxi to and fro from the Airport, then you may need great boot.
