I totally agree with everything u said..
I cried too with him.. I listened to this performance on air that night, and the passion and even the struggle.. they were palpable from that amazing stage.. the Sanremo orchestra is one of the most great I ever heard (probably the most) in a songs contest!!
That performance I think..will be part of the history of music!
Thnx very much for ur touchy and beautiful reaction

Insane vocal control. He was about to cry from verse 1 and his voice didn't crack once. You could see the overwhelm in his face but it only showed up as intensity in the voice and zero flaws. In the following evenings we saw people like Pausini and Ranieri have voice cracks for being just a little nervous, but not this guy who was literally choking on tears. This was not only extremely emotional but also insanely impressive from a technical standpoint.
Edit: somewhere on Reddit there's the rai version with close up shots. It's worth looking for.

I think what we saw in this performance is the true heart of Maneskin. No flash, no sexy, no sass, no provocation. Just Maneskin in its purest glorious form. This is what I hope the world to see.

If you'd been able to see the RAI live footage, you'd have been weeping buckets like the rest of us in Europe. Incredibly powerful. Damiano could barely hold it together, and his voice almost cracked a couple of times. There was so much emotion in his voice, in his posture, in his performance, and so much support from the other members of the band. This is a song that he acknowledges affects him deeply. That fact, and being once again on the stage at Sanremo, where the real road to international fame started for the band, must have been overwhelming. Damiano has a tattoo which reads 'Big boys do cry', and he has always had a tendency to have a bit of a weep when something touches him deeply. At Sanremo we saw not only the rockstar, the sexy frontman, and the fabulous band, but the people within.

Ciao dall'Italia Bro.

The conductor Enrico Melozzi made this song even more powerful and beautiful, and with the Maneskin the "perfect emotional storm" was created. This is a musical masterpiece that mixes many different genres, and if now all over the world they sing in Italian, this is another miracle of Maneskin, who at only 21-23 years of age and in just 11 months, achieved the same successes. of the most important bands in history!

Also this year the Måneskin have dominated on the prestigious stage of Sanremo, the power of a song like Coraline, with a crazy lyrics, with a wonderful music has been further embellished by the orchestral arrangement of maestro Enrico Melozzi. At this point the game is done, the emotion was very strong for Damiano. The fact of going back to where it all started, the fact that the artistic director Amadeus was the first to believe in them when at the end of 2020 Sony Italy proposed these 4 wonderful guys, still immature, with a song outside the box of a festival of the song that has more than 70 years of tradition. The text then has a power equal to an atomic bomb. We speak of Love with a capital letter, the real one, the one that goes beyond the carnal relationship that can exist between 2 people, the sincere and boundless one, the one where the pains of one pass to the other. All in one language, Italian, which has a thousand shades to describe love and feelings and where the simple translation into other languages does not completely convey the meaning of the thought of what Damiano wanted to communicate to us. Thank you all for believing in these guys

A 22 anni.

Congratulation for ur reaction and I agree with most of the things u said. The only sad thing about maneskin and successful artists in Italy is that sometimes they don't recive the true credit specially by Italians!! And that's really incredible, unfortunately really often Italian prides in the world are not acceppetd by Italians, Federica pellegrini, a living legend of swimming is attacked because is not funny, Bocelli because he's never to Pavarotti 's level,Valentino Rossi because she had taxes problems in the past, jannick sinner in tennis because she has German name and surname, Laura Pausini because she's not funny, il volo because they makes boring songs, maneskin because they r not rock, true rock is acdc, nirvana ect ect and the list is infinite. I made u stupid examples to show how they think when the artists r too good in their work, they usually want destroy them with private aspects and that's disgusting. The same for Sanremo festival, every year the say its boring but is still one of the most important festival in the world and is followed everywhere. Sometimes am Italian when we think to our glorious past in the centuries but most of Italian don't deserve our glory
