Carry with you various sizes of Ziploc bags. They're great for storing/packing any leftover food to be placed inside the fridge. They're also great for emergency liquid storage (if a bottle of your oils, spices, sauces broke etc.), and to keep other knick-knacks tidy (ie. screws, nuts & bolts). And when not in use, they take less space than the usual plastic containers (incl. the pop-up ones). But don't cheap out, get the good ones so you know they will seal well (even when containing liquid).
Good work. 👍 I use one of those charging cable bags in my home, but good idea to have one for the 4WD as well. Here's a safety hack, if you plan to travel on terrain where you can pick up a lot of dry grass or spinefix under your 4WD (& camper), carry with you a 2L manual pump garden pressure sprayer and fill it with water. It's the quickest and easiest way to douse any potential fire under the vehicle before it goes out of control. Also carry with you metal coat hanger size wire to use a tool to remove dry grass/spinifex stuck under your vehicle.
I liked the flow meter hack. I have a few small hacks I use. Here are my lame hacks 1. I carry a full pool noodle at all times generally for floating around pools or creeks but I also carrying cut up pieces of noodle for various things. The first one is a cut a slit in a 100 to 150 mm piece of noodle and slide over my guy ropes to help people from tripping over them or kicking the pegs (doesn't always work). I also use them for covering Lures/Hooks on rods or making up fishing rigs in advance and storing them on a piece of noodle. 2. I place small carabiners on the ends of all my guy ropes. It makes them easier to snap onto various awnings etc 3. I carry small power packs 10,000ma etc for charging phones etc rather than using the house battery. I can then charge them in the car when driving 4. I Vac seal all meats and as many meals as possible. They can be stored easier in the freezer or fridge 5. I use large foam mats (the ones with holes in them, available as a 4 pack from BCF/Bunnings) and place one under my RTT ladder. It helps prevent it from sliding and also use it to wipe my feet. I also place one outside of my swag for the same reason. cheers for all your vids
Ah nice, glad ya liked the water meter idea. Another cheap easy one when camping on the beach is to get a small mat of fake grass from bunnings, again 😂 and place it at the base of your ladder for your rooftop or entrance to any tent and it works really well to wipe the sand off your feet before getting in the tent also a dustpan brush is handy to clean sand off aswell.👍
For oil i used to use a sauce bottle, alot more durable then those poptops, but these days the oil sprayers from decor are the way to go, you use way less oil.
We get charging cables with multiple charging ends that way one cord can charge multiple devices. Another hack is we use aerosol oils, most the time we aren’t deep frying at camp and just need to coat a pan so food doesn’t stick. It’s usually in a metal can that’s been pressurized so it doesn’t leak. 🤙🏽
Great ideas. I store my oil in a sauce bottle, but I like the size of your oil storage better. Also that cable storage bag is a cracker! I'll have to go online and find one. ❤
Pop top hack is dangerous when it looks like apple juice 😂 reckon spray oil is the way, can't spill and the lid prevents accidental spraying, shame they're typically fairly large though
Hey bud here’s a quick tip for you, that girl of yours you need to put a ring on her finger.. Women like her are as rare as hens teeth. Lol I can see you laughing now.. She’s definitely a keeper

The water meter right at the shower head is an absolutely brilliant idea👍🏻👍🏻

Good hacks. With oil, I use silicon bottles from kmart. Also have ones with hand soap, shampoo, moisturiser, sunscreen, etc.
A couple of rippers there guys.
Thanks for sharing.
Not every day we watch someone get 2 litres of oil thrown at them 😂😂😂. Love it

A crab pot / trap makes a great dish rack. Hang it from a tree branch or corner of the gazebo and chuck your cleaned dishes in to air dry.
👍out of the 5 ,,,,,,,,,3 for me 🕺🕺🕺

Does the water flow meter tell you how many litres you have consumed. Sorry I’m just keen on one but not shore how it works. Thanks mate 👍🏼
Yep! It will show you total Ls consumed since last reset (sort of like the trip meter in your car), as well as the L per min. 🙂
@@explorebound excellent thanks heaps bud 🤙🏼
😂😂😂 great comedy skits.
0:22 Nice try Diddy
Just check your shoes if left outside before putting your feet in them….critters may have decided to use your shoe as a new home. Lol
Cool
I use empty small wine or port cask bladder, fill with water, freeze at home, use on bait or fish for weekend. Throw away when no used.
Noice... I normally have a bungee cord aroud fridge door to help keep closed. same same....
It's illegal to store poisons in a food/beverage container
Cooking oil yes...engine oil no.
So cooking oil is poison?
