The tragic death of a soul is when one lost the presence of the One True God in his or her life. It is when the soul gets lost even before the death of ones' body, wandering in the darkness without finding the Light of God which must be the home of every soul.
All that matter is to live this life to glorify God each day.. for others to feel the love of God in this world by following the foot steps of the Living Word.. the Son of Man. That in the end, when we lost our concsiousness of who we are, we dwell in the Light of God forever.

The soul is ever changing and transforming, cleansing. Very well put. Exactly we often wonder where the soul truly comes from. I like to think our essence lives on as well as a memory or an imprint we have on someone's heart .

Man became a “living soul” with the combination of Earth / Adomah and G-d’s Ruach breathed into him. The Tanakh is clear that “in that day their thoughts do perish,” “and that in this way we are no different than the animals”, hence the necessity for the Resurrection promise. The transmigrating soul concept crept into Jewish thinking after the Babylonian Captivity and is not in the Jewish Tanakh unlike the Christian New Testament.
    Shalom!

Hello, Rabbi Simon Jacobson. I was meditating on the subject and the core of truth, the objective truth and the truth we perceive with our physical senses, our cultural background, what teachers teach us and what we fill with assumptions in order to get a better picture of our personal truth.
I thought about the soul, how we consist of multiple layers which make us who we are. Based on my background and the teachers I trust, I came to the conclusion, that even more hidden, above the soul, must be the mind, the mental body which connects us directly to god and the spheres associated with that. So, when the body is the vehicle for the soul to experience physical life, could the soul be the vehicle for something even bigger, too complex and advanced to make sense of it with our limited capacity?
It's weird, because I found your video after pondering in meditation about all the subjects you talk about, and your voice of wisdom resonates with me on a deeper level. For me, the soul might die and be born again if the mind chose so, and I would like to see your perspective on the subject.
I'm aware you're teaching hundreds of thousands of people, and I don't expect an answer. Thank you for what you do, the world needs spiritual teachers, now more than ever with everything that's going on in the world.

I do believe that the soul, being the image of G-D, is eternal. The body is the vessel to "house" the soul which comes to earth to fulfil its mission yet never it dies.

You say we are eternal and never die. Why do you think we are raised from birth under the shadow of death. It is to learn us that there is indeed an eternal death as well as a timely one. As above so below. God says return to me and I will to you. As you are well aware this envolves a process of purififcation. Why? If God created time and space how do you think he existed before that. With our limited reason we would have to deduce that he is in a constant state of creation, the third. Now the fourth would be logic and reason which controls creation. Why? If God effortlessly creates his holiness with as much power as evident in the universe, do you think that he would not be subject to his own power , seeing he is eternal. Now to put the intensity of his renewing in perspective, although dimly, lets do a thought exercise. Einstein said if you travel faster than light time stops. I remember watching a doc about the big bang by Hawkins which stated in the first 5 millisec of the bang the universe expanded 10 lightyears. (time started warpped and not linear ), That would be 300 times the speed of light. Now we must realize that this 300 is hyperbolically slower than the point of origin 5 millisec earlier which is still just a form, a shadow of holy creation, Now my point is this. If God is so intense as to have no tense, being all at once which is the absolute definition of eternal, do you not see how logic and reason must be part of his creation, If He created that which was not right then all the power of his creation would be creationing unrighteousness, which would result in eternal death. The only spirit that can exist in such a state of all powerful creation would be one of true pure innocent righteous love. Therefor God must gaurd his righteousness at all cost, even if it be the loss of some souls in eternal death. What is etertnal death and how deep is the terrible pitch of Enoch's vision. It is fear increased by the power of God's own creation. Pulled inside out as the terror becomes a living lightning bolt and with the snap hurled into the dreaded singularity of a self made black hole. Outer daekness, the soul would be completely destroyed although some dead energy would probably ripple in space. This is the fire of the alter, eternal hellfire, and is what likely happened to Ahad and Abihu. We percieve with our half inch holes fire comeing down from God, not the souls being transformed, their fear being increased by the power of God's holiness. So I suggest it is possible to die the second death before dieing the first. I also suggest it is possible that God himself could perish if he were to become unrighteous. He does not ask anything of us he does not have to do, and this last thing I say i know you will not like, as Abraham said , God will provide Himself a sacrifice, in Yashua's name, that he might have the "right" to forgive us that we perish not in eternal death. I am a very shallow man, about a foot and a half between my brain and gut. God gives fair warning so that his righteousness is sustained, for his mere presence will destroy the ungodly, and this is how and why. May you be blessed with an angel, sometimes there is only one way to get something done that needs doing and that is to do it yourself.

After we die we sleep and await resurrection. The soul can also die. In regards to this matter, many christians trust in a man's word becausse hes jewish but we must also recognize rhat many jewish people also believe in the Kabalah and talmud, both of which are babylon inspired.

The soul is either attached to the holy spirit and returns to God after death or it is attached to the body at death and dies along with it.

It is with understanding that the material body is hosting the soul. That what I am seeking to know is WHAT is that specific
"entity or object" that seperates the soul from the body. Who /what is the "switch" in your example of the electricity and the fridge? What is that force which keeps the soul within our bodies?
