WR room is awful. Bottom 5 in the league maybe the worst. Wilson, Dortch, Jones don't make any team's roster in our division. Cards were playing with practice squad linemen and RB on Sun.
It isn't bottom 5 in the league. But it is incomplete. We need a Christian Kirk 2.0 to stretch the deep middle of the field. When our fastest WR runs a 4.45 that is a disadvantage almost every week to the opposing CBs. If Monti makes one splash this offseason, it has to be a WR who has speed. With that in place, Kyler has no excuse not to succeed. Another add on the offensive line would help as well. But our defense was rated in the top 10 when strength of schedule was taken into account. Meanwhile, our offense was middle of the pack at best. So even if Murray played significantly better, that problem wouldn't have been solved. Can't do anything about the injuries on the oline. Hernandez going down really hurt us. But we are extremely deep at RB. Michael Carter should be a RB 2 on another team. The fact he stayed on our practice squad all year is a miracle. I agree that we should probably let Dorch walk. I wish we used Jones more cuz he seemed to make a difference when the ball was thrown to him but we can definitely improve from him as well. Tyreke Hill is available! I just think it is a major disadvantage when our CBs are slower than the opposing WRs and our WRs are slower than the opposing CBs basically every week. We have the defensive scheme to make up for it but not so on offense.

JG the 1st time HC who had his group fighting, and scrapping since day 1. Ralis the 1st time DC, continues to make the most of nothing with no pass rush including our last year sack leader Out. Petzing the 1st time OC, is our biggest question mark. Other than a good rush plan which Did Not Feature Kyler, had a lot of question marks to answer… inconsistent is the best way I can characterize this situation. Kyler Murray’s success will land solely on Petzings shoulders.
K1 I have said all year long he has great talent but I never thought he was the "Franchise QB". In the last 5 weeks he has had 3 interceptions that failed to win the game in the 4th Qtr. Franchise QB's win those games not lose them. This team was 6-4 at one point after going through the roughest part of their schedule and since then failed to win games they should have won. And K1 is responsible for those losses. Time to find a new QB it's been 6 years and no playoff wins.

The WR coar sucked! Drew Petzing is not the OC they need. They are very one-dimensional, Trey/James carried this team if it was not for these two putting up the numbers they did! They would again be in the top 5 in the draft for 25. The WR were a big flop!! Kyler did what he could with the little tools given to him. Gannon and this offense were extremely predictable in the blow outs, if that is Petzing/Gannon there is a breakdown between them they were flat! Kyler looked confused in these blowout games. Something needs fixed for these other WR, playing bubble screens and dump offs for this offense as often as it did tells a problem of WRs not creating separation. That was a big problem. WRs running the wrong routes, that is all communication. The O-Line for most of the season played clean penalty free, the card's were #1 for least amount of penalties. It became more problematic as the season progressed the penalties increased putting the offense in a bigger hole to work out of. I agree 25 is a make or break year for Murray. They have to get a QB in the 25 draft!!! Send a message to Kyler light a fire under his ass. Unfortunately I see, this going beyond this 3 year window. The organization has to invest in seasoned WRs!

All of our losses & lack of success do not fall solely on Kyler. It is a “TEAM SPORT”. It takes a TEAM to WIN. & that same TEAM has to endure each loss TOGETHER. Of course this season sucked & so did every season prior & every season before Kyler. But the Cardinals are still above the bar they set from last year (4-13). Their record currently 7-9. Not great. But not the worst in the division. Let’s not be ungrateful & blind ourselves from the actual progress they made. All departments need to step up from the front office to the field. But I wouldn’t say their efforts were for nothing. They gave everything they had. Close games that slipped away. Injuries from top to bottom. They sacrificed. It’s not unnoticed. And no 1 man is to blame. Strength, support & unity is all that’s needed for our Cardinals.

You can say that they'll come up with a dink and dunk gameplan, ala the Payton era Colts that gets lots of yaks. That worked because Payton was a deep ball threat, something that Kyler has never shown and currently the Cards have no real speed threat on the WR crew. Take the hit and move on.
