    what is the maximum allowed load in kg for the top case rack and for the side racks?

    Hey, Are the mounting brackets a part of side rack set? Or I have to buy tail rack in order to mount side rack?

  • @tommym6248
    @tommym6248 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    These mount similarly to your racks for my Africa Twin. I was surprised that the mount behind the pillion peg bracket is just a single “hook” with a spacer for the second bolt. I would have much more confidence in a solid plate that ran under the mount instead of the little hook and a spacer. I would think that it would make the racks much less susceptible to “bouncing” around. That is the only thing I was disappointed with on your racks. Other than that, I’m very happy with mine. I do find myself checking those hooks before every road trip to make sure they didn’t loosen up and slip out.

    Hey I am just wondering will this pannier system be able to installed without the rear rack? Also wondering when do you think this will be for sale in Canada? Thanks Cian

    • @Outbackmotortek
      @Outbackmotortek  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, of course. You can install just the pannier racks alone.
      Hopefully our Canadian dealer (DualSport Plus) will order them in the coming months.

    Will a symmetrical version be offered? Or are you sticking with asymmetrical for this rack?

      Whats the benefit of a asymmetrical rack? I would think a symmetrical gives a nicer look? Thanks. Ad

      The thumbnail shows Kriega OS 22/32L panniers. We highly recommend them and also Mosko Moto Backcountry

    the panier rack is too close the muffler/heat shield. what if you get close to bottoming out the rear shock, will the muffler hit the panier rack?

    What is the reason for the asymmetrical design ? Is it a clearance issue?

    • @Outbackmotortek
      @Outbackmotortek  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Most riders (according to our sales data) prefer asymmetrical racks because they’re narrower. Sometimes by as much as 6-7cm/2.5-3”

    Personally I’d rather be peering over a massive tank bag than dealing with two ufos 🛸 flying along side me, forever. Talk about nightmare 😅.

    • @Outbackmotortek
      @Outbackmotortek  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To each their own. A tank bag is not comparable in size to soft panniers. With a “massive” tank bag you’ll deal with a top heavy bike too.

    • @hair2050
      @hair2050 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Outbackmotortek off course. Very limited space up there. I do wish that manufacturers were more creative in the original design, incorporating much more storage in the body of the bike.
