I think this misses on a couple of key areas. Firstly you do mention the pressure wave from trucks when you are overtaking, but not how significant it is or how to manage a surge. (Applies to overtaking on dual lane carriageways too)
Secondly you didn’t mention that being overtaken also gives same effect from truck passing you.
