Chico, CA. Stripers, Sturgeon, Salmon, American Shad, Smallmouth out of a jetboat on the Sacramento River. Spend a lot of time on the river at night. Fish for big Channel cats in a couple of different lakes and sloughs. Getting ready to go after some spring Smallmouth in a mountain lake.
Eric I'm going to try some spawn sacks from the pier this week, waiting on my Black Friday Dry Suit to arrive otherwise I'd be in my kayak! Curious why your using a 3 way when jigging couldn't you just use a slip sinker? If I'm from shore would you advice the weight on the one 3 way side to be longer than the spawn side? Also, going to try the slip bobber and Great video brother love your contact!
I mean...to say your one of the only guys fishing a boat in the great lakes year round is a bit off the wall. Have u ever been to the niagara river in the winter? If not you should try it!

I took kerry Paulson on a trip some years back he had a blast. 10° that day same deal boat froze to trailer haha love it! Great video man!

For stocked trout you can use that Berkeley power bait trout dough stuff. I don’t fish for stockers, but I’ve heard that stuff works wonders. Something about the scent reminds them of what they were fed in the hatchery.
Awesome video Eric, you are hard core! Just got back from a last ice trip to Devils Lake ND. We pounded the walleyes and some perch. I set up my two 36” medium Haat rods I just bought from you in HT wind jigger rod holders. One with an Okuma Baitfeeder, and the other on a bobber (4 lines allowed ice fishing). Best dead stick setup I have ever used!!! I had 4 walleyes hook themself on the bobber rig, and never lost a fish on either one. Is that 40” rod you were using a med or a med heavy? Also what size reel do you use on it? I am going to have to have one of those!

South Milwaukee here, originally from the southern shores of Superior. How do you like that lithium battery? I've been thinking about looking into those. Hopefully getting my gear ready soon, Milwaukee's starting to warm up early this year, hope that's indicative of an early spring.
