Seen another video where you can swap the lighting around and have your actual headlights run full time instead of on the bumper lights. Easy and quick swap, make sure you look at where the ground (black) wire is. Looks much better and more realistic. Great video's! Keep them coming!
So far I have done high clearance links, brass wheel weights, brass hexes and steel wheels. It is getting better but still flips pretty easy. Doing Injora/emax steering servo this week as all that weight has destroyed the steering. Also removed the spare and I am going to file off that post.
So far I've done pretty much the same upgrades to my Bronco with similar results. Still fine tuning things, and getting a few parts together. I need to convert to a four link in the front still, and get some different shocks I think. Loving the build so far, fun to follow along with you! Thanks Adam!!
watchibg these videos are giving me a laugh. doing my first build and seems almost part for part what i ordered just waiting for it just nice to know i made a good choice on parts.
You may have gone over this in an earlier vid but what did you use for the link / center section, stock or aluminum? Your Amazon link is just for the links themselves.
@@CapeCrawlers Have you seen the spring mod, Texoma RC made a video on what he's done. Where he basically loops over the last couple of coils of the spring over the collar at each end. You still get articulation, but it helps keep the front down when climbing. At around the 7:00, your front end was lifting so high from those double barrels it's taken alot of the weight off the front wheels as the chassis & body leans back.
I use an MIP Thorp driver in 1.3mm and a Dynamite 1.5mm. I orefer the MIP because i can spin it more easily with my fingers which expedites removal and tightening.
Hello, been enjoying your vids. Today, my daughter decided she wanted to buy a SCX24 and I knew nothing. She knows nothing. But, here I am. :D Are there any videos that show the process of changing out the parts in real time? Also, what tools should I get?
I love that your daughter is into it. It's so much fun to share with your kids! For tools, you should get a wheel nut wrench, some strong hobby grade tweezers, need nosed pliers, a 1.3mm and 1.5mm hex driver. A good hex driver set is a smart idea, but those are the two you'll use the most. Get a good lipo battery balance charger. I don't do a lot of live installs, mainly because I am still learning myself and my installs take a LONG time! Check out Matt over at 2FMRC. He does a lot of technical work with live installs.
@@CapeCrawlers Well, my daughter was excited you replied and says thank you. She wanted me to show you her playing with her crawler. I hope this is ok: th-cam.com/video/NJ1S-0bxkDw/w-d-xo.html
I cut the foam to about half the diameter for my Trail kings. There is just enough foam to keep the sidewall standing. Looks like you aired the tire down to climb
LOL! Busted! Color grading would imply I know what I’m doing, which I don’t yet 😂 I use rubber bands for limiting straps currently. I’m still trying to perfect the length and positioning, but I find they work pretty well.
Alright, this isn’t a hobby I could get into, super fun to see ppl like you tweaking things, but I guess my temper wouldn’t allow anything to survive after the third fail xD
its funny how your concerned with performance but you dont start in the obvious areas like taking all the weight off the top and the back. concerned with performance but more concerned with making it look like the real thing.
I like a balance of scale realism and performance. One of my favorite things about the bronco is how it looks. I want to get as much performance out of it as I can while still retaining the awesome look of it out of the box

I used the same links on my c10 and also only used 1 o-ring. Good to see I'm not alone!
You cracked the code as well!

Thank you! I might have to try that out. I’m not a big fan of the bumper lights on all the time and would much prefer the headlights for realism
Did this, much better.

You are well on your way to a killer build!
I put the high clearance kit on mine and it works great but I put the 58mm on it now and when I’m at full flex my front drive shaft pops out

Thanks for watching! The bronco really transforms with some minor upgrades. It’s a lot of fun to tinker with!
If I send you my bronco with all the upgrades for it can you upgrade it for me?
watchibg these videos are giving me a laugh. doing my first build and seems almost part for part what i ordered just waiting for it just nice to know i made a good choice on parts.
Have fun with your build! The Bronco is still one of my all time favorite builds.
Broncos starting to come alive 💪🙌💪
It sure is!
Nice work bro 👍🏿💪🏿💪🏿👍🏾
Thanks for watching!
Will the clearance issues with the servo still happen with the bumper mounts from phase 1 or would it be worse?
The clearance issues would still exist. It would be the same I think, no worse
How do you have your shocks slanted backwards?
I like to mount them to the frame for more axle drop. I run them upside down because I feel like they work more smoothly
You may have gone over this in an earlier vid but what did you use for the link / center section, stock or aluminum? Your Amazon link is just for the links themselves.
I did aluminum
those shocks look like they make a crazy difference
Huge difference! Definitely recommend No springs though, otherwise the ride height is crazy high

What happened to the bumper mount from phase 1. The bumper I’d floating again.
I broke the mount during some recent falls off of mini Moab! I’ve got a new one coming to firm up that bumper again.
What o ring did you leave on for the suspension? Inside or outside?
Inside. I do the same with my linkage.
New link extend wheelbase??
What hex driver do you prefer to use working on the scx24?
I use an MIP Thorp driver in 1.3mm and a Dynamite 1.5mm. I orefer the MIP because i can spin it more easily with my fingers which expedites removal and tightening.
Really awesome 😍 excellent work 😉👍
Thank you! I appreciate it!

SCX24 BRONCO 👍😎👍 It's Great ~~~!!!!!!😁😁
Love the bronco!
Yeah more passenger at the top of the bridge
Hello from southeast alaska happy forth of July weekend bro
Take the foams out and see if it helps
I tried that but felt the sidewalls were too squishy. They stuck out like balloons with no foams.
I cut the foam to about half the diameter for my Trail kings. There is just enough foam to keep the sidewall standing. Looks like you aired the tire down to climb
@@markgraves9429 I may try that with these tires. If I had some more tire flex it may give me the extra grip I’m after
So, you sleep in the wife's hoodie 😁
Your color grading is all over the place
The rig is looking great though, have you ever tried limiting straps ?
LOL! Busted! Color grading would imply I know what I’m doing, which I don’t yet 😂 I use rubber bands for limiting straps currently. I’m still trying to perfect the length and positioning, but I find they work pretty well.
Are there low profile wheels available.? LOL
There are actually! I saw someone selling drift wheels for these just recently
Hi hi
Just found your channel through Instagram. What country are from?
Hi! I’m from Massachusetts, USA
@@CapeCrawlers Cool, was just wondering. We have a social club where I live called CRCC - Cape Rc Crawlers, but we are in Cape Town South Africa.
