    I ride mine on a State Hi-way that's under "construction" over the past month ( Rte 101, cheese grater pavement, paved/partially paved) and onto an Interstate (I-95), at night. I work 3rd shift, over 18yrs. One of the reasons I like working 3rd shift, low traffic, less hassles. Bought it this year (22'), 21' Vulcan 1700 Vaquero, 1mi on the odometer when delivered, over 700mi now in June. New England Weather isn't exactly known for being great (don't like the weather, wait a minute). Mine's dark metallic grey w/maroon graphics. Handles great on the messed up pavement.

    • @GoofyBastard
      @GoofyBastard  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Congratulations on the bike!! That color is really nice!! These bikes can really eat up the miles. I know about working that overnight shift. Been doing it for the better part of 25 years. Good luck with the Vaquero!!! They really are great bikes!! Thanks for watching and stay safe

  • @hottotty13

    Gas station air compressors are the bane of my existence. That combined with Kawasaki putting the valve stem in the absolute tightest area on the Z900rs rim. Can’t wait to get new tires just so I can switch to 90* valve stems.

    • @GoofyBastard
      @GoofyBastard  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was so dumb, I should’ve checked those tires before I left instead of finding out I have a little low pressure when I felt it. But yes, those gas station air pumps suck. Not only are they difficult to use…but $1.50 for air!!! Crazy!!! I should’ve gotten a 90° stem on the front when I got my tires changed out. Thanks for watching and stay safe

    Really struggling with buying one of these. The issue is i habe switched to ADV riding. Had a 1500 and a 900 classic LT. Loved em both. But a ton of new small bore ADV bikes out and new ones coming out. So a ton to choose from. So I can keep going when the pavement ends. But the sound and looks of these make it a very hard choice. Its a bit more expensive than i was planning on spending.....for a used one. I never buy new. But a nice relaxing ride through the North Cascades National park. Or down US89 through Utah into Az on that bike sure would be nice too. I guess i need to work some more overtime and just buy both.

    • @GoofyBastard
      @GoofyBastard  20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@drzrider3440 you can’t go wrong buying a Vaquero. IMO it’s the best bagger for the buck. They do have drawbacks of course(older styling,limited tech, haven’t been really upgraded since they came out) but still a bike I enjoyed owning. But if you’re getting into ADV riding….its not really good for that🤣!! Before I read the last part of the comment, in my head I was thinking buy both!!! Good luck with your decision and thanks for watching

    Very nice! I like the Kawi’s quite a bit. My bro-in-law owns a 2016 Vulcan Voyager. I’m a fan of these bikes except for the boring paint schemes. (Sorry, just my opinion.
