Port Hedland Fishing Finucane Island | Coral Trout and Cod on the Troll

- Still trying to get out wide down to a couple of decent spots but keep getting pushed back with small weather windows and dodgy tides. Trolled the shallows just because I was slack and managed to pick up my PB Gold Spotted Rock Cod and Coral Trout! I know it's tiny in terms of Trout but I'm slowly making my way towards a sized coral trout off the Dinghy.
Popped out for another session just before I went back to work and grabbed a feed for dinner. Nothing was hitting the live bait so I just trolled back and picked up a couple of nice sized Spanish Flags for dinner.

Wonderful size cod.. so under rated. But a great tasting fish.
The smile on your face was priceless with the coral trout buddy.. made me smile soooo much... almost as much as you receiving the snakes..

You crew make the best videos, How pretty was the Gold spot cod, the colours were amazing, nearly as pretty as those waves you had at the boat ramp! Lovely Bar cheek Coral trout Jed that made your day, what a ripper, shame it was just under, pretty as hell. I'm laughing so hard that Jed thinks people are sending him Snakes in parcel post, only to realise it is a care package of snakes - that was hilarious, and Top Shelf snakes too, none of the weight watchers, low sugar gear! Some people would send that to the pool room. I however, suggest 1 into a vodka bottle and one into the tequila bottle for special occasions! 😁Hey was that the Treva we we talking about tonight? I think the trevs in this video are the same yeah, when they get bigger I think is when they get small black spots. 🤔

So close with the coral trout. One of these days it will be a big girl. Nothing wrong with the cod either. Great eating…. Almost as good as those snakes 😂. Nice work as usual 🍺 🎣.

It's a Mangrove Jack ali trailer, I looked at heaps of options and these by far in my opinion was the best quality, easy to put together and under 40kg 👍👍. Based in W.A. too
1.3kg of snakes. My gosh, she sure does look after you, mate. Just like my wife. I have 5 small bags in the cupboard. I can't keep up. She has to help me eat them. This was a great video mate. Some really good fishing. Straight away, i started looking for that lost lure online. Couldn't find it. Be easier with 2 people on the boat while cast netting.
