  • Solo Monster Trout!! Tips on how to find lumps out wide!! And my Simrad settings ✌️✌️
    This episode i head out solo for a bit of relaxation and looking for new ground in areas i havent fished before. I go through the settings i run on my Simrad NSS EVO3s and throw in a couple of tips that greatly increase your chances of finding fishing spots when out deep.

    iv almost given up on deep sea fishing off dampier due to sharks- watching this gives me some inspiration to go out and try some more! (when it cools down a bit!)

    Nice video but have you heard of release weights? Stabbing the fish to pop it’s swim bladder and seeing it swim away might give you the warm and fuzzies but does nothing to help the fish survive.

    Thanks for the tips. Love the sea snake one! How do you figure out where to search in the first place? General contours? Water conditions? Do you plan this before you hit the water?

      By far the best way to find ground up here.
      And yeh i like to look in flat areas. Definitely dont find as many spots and they arent normally big but wen u find 1 there is usually more fish and no sharks

      @@mattladner6930 yeh definitely. Spring tides they feed alot more then neaps. And fukl moon they will eat all night.

    What is the best rwason to buy a simrad ?
    How much is the max depth that tour simrad fishfinder can keep reaching for fish ?

      Hi mate.
      I have my sounder set to meters
      Simrads are an extremely easy unit to use and work great in all conditions.
      I am currently in exmouth fishing in over 300 meters and still finding fish 👍🏽
      They are Simrad NSS EVO3’s units

    why cant i find a video of actual DEEP water sounder tuning. 45 meters is shallow as hell where i fish. need minimum 200+ meters

      @@Fanta-SeaFishing I have good sounder, but Im using it to its full potential and once I speed up I get nothing on sounder.
      Looks like u prefer down scan, why is that?
