Essential oils should be avoided in 1st trimester and should be used with caution during 2nd and 3rd trimesters. You never know how much quantity of the oil is safe to use during pregnancy. So I think it should be avoided altogether, in case you exceed the safety dose.
So we shouldn’t use this method then ?
