It’s the child checkmate system and it’s tied into the emergency exit buzzer circuit so whenever it opens it makes sounds and speaks, it says rear door open on all exits because it doesn’t know which is which and there’s only one message it can play which is rear door open and the reason it keeps playing is it goes through the cycle then stops depends on how long the exit has been open for

@@Unicorn73673 I think its because when the original system was designed buses didn't all come with emergency side exits and roof hatches but most had a rear door and they just never bothered to change it because they would have to record a whole new message and it still gets the point across i guess
they need to put alarm like these on Boeing 737 and Airbus aircraft since we've seen news that passengers been opening up side emergency exit on planes.

Dude for years I thought the red handle on the window would actually drop the window off the bus, cuz that’s what was told to me as a kid. I didn’t realize it was just a window hinge… I feel like my life was a lie

One time my bus was on the Highway during a windy day. The roof hatches were open to let air in. A kid on the bus told us to put all our windows down so we did. We were just driving when the rear roof hatch came flying off. All there was we can hear was the emergency exit alarm.
I only rode a bluebird and a Thomas before I didn’t ride a school bus (the Thomas exit didn’t open so idk that one) one bluebird was a buzzing sound and another different one was a loud beeping
So there is this game on Roblox and it’s a bus game where you can drive buses and I always like to pull those emergency levers to annoy my friend with loud sounds😂
