I had the pleasure of seeing her on the west end in this role, and her voice is the most melodic voice I’ve ever heard. In other words, she is never flat nor off key, nor anything bad. Not only is she a soprano but she has a beautiful upper belt. She really was exquisite.
@@willsbob123 this is so true, I saw her last week and was so blown away by her sharp and purely beautiful voice, that her accent only makes more interesting and nice to listen to
Saw Sophie as Glinda twice and her acting is absolutely outstanding. She really embodies everything Glinda is about and still manages to make the role her own. I absolutely adore her voice too, really light and delicate just the way Glinda should sound x
I saw them on the 18th of October in London, in the Apollo Victoria Theatre. And I absolutely fell in love. My first musical ever and I will never forget it. it was amazing and they were amazing😍
Alice Fearn is the best thing that has happened to Wicked! Been 2-3 years since I watched her perform in London and she still remains the best thing I've seen in West End!
I saw these two in wicked in the West end, they seem like such good friends off stage and have genuine love for each other. They made me cry with their performance of For good, keep going girls, you're doing great X
I saw them back in March at the Apollo Victoria. I could be biased bc they were my first Gelphie live lol, but honestly one of the best casts I’ve seen or heard. I love Sophie as Glinda, and Alice was just incredible. Made my friend who doesn’t even love theater cry.
I also really love Alli Mauzey and Donna Vivino together. They were in a bootleg, and their humor was just spot on. But they’re the only other duo I would rank there up with these two
Alice Fearn and Sophie Evans are my best musical actresses. They changed my life through their performances. Here is the For good lyrics below I've heard it said That people come into our lives For a reason Bringing something we must learn And we are led to those Who help us most to grow if we let them And we help them in return Well, I don't know if I believe that's true But I know I'm who I am today Because I knew you Like a comet pulled from orbit As it passes the sun Like a stream that meets a boulder Halfway through the wood Who can say if I've been changed for the better But because I knew you I have been changed for good It well may be That we will never meet again In this lifetime So, let me say before we part So much of me Is made of what I learned from you You'll be with me Like a handprint on my heart And now whatever way our stories end I know you have rewritten mine By being my friend Like a ship blown from its mooring By a wind off the sea Like a seed dropped by a sky bird In a distant wood Who can say if I've been changed for the better But because I knew you Because I knew you I have been changed for good And just to clear the air I ask forgiveness For the things I've done, you blame me for But then I guess We know there's blame to share And none of it seems to matter anymore Like a comet pulled from orbit (like a ship blown from its mooring) As it passes the sun (by a wind off the sea) Like a stream that meets a boulder (like a seed dropped by a bird) Halfway through the wood (in the wood) Who can say if I've been changed for the better I do believe I have been changed for the better And because I knew you Because I knew you Because I knew you I have been changed For good

Omg i saw them last night and after the show i met sophie and she is the most amazing person ever and i love her so much shes my inspiration for life xx
I watched Sophie perform this month and she was so good as Glinda. It was my first time watching the show but I already know she’s gonna stay as my favourite Glinda

Probably the most underrated Glinda in the history of wicked

Really refreshing hearing Sophie's British Glinda and Alice's powerful yet humble Elphaba. A really great rendition!
Who thought I needed a brilliant Welsh ginger as glinda

Omg, same here (except for the date, late November for me). It was so beautiful, and the cast absolutely spectacular. What a memory.
Nov. 10th for me :)
I saw this musical this year, and it was best one I’ve ever seen!
Same but in late November
Sophie had the most incredible voice, such a rich beautiful tone. I would give anything to sing this with her
They were magical together and Alice Fearn will always be my favorite green witch. She’s pure talent.
Saw these ladies in Wicked five years ago. Absolutely phenomenal.
Me too, twice! Absolutely sensational!
Alice Fearn is the best thing that has happened to Wicked! Been 2-3 years since I watched her perform in London and she still remains the best thing I've seen in West End!
Wonderful voices, both of them. Great to see Sophie doing so well having followed her since OtR.
I feel this song also represents Sophie and Alice genuine friendship. The hug at the end.😍

West end frozen is this our Elsa and Anna
Pleaseeeee do!
Alice fearn! wow. Top class.
Saw them yesterday afternoon, truly talented and beautiful women.
These two are impeccable.

Wow! I’ve never heard of them, but they just jumped to be next to Jessica Vosk on my rating scale. So good!!!

Both of them shine :)
Sophie is better, she‘s really Glinda for me

i saw this with alice & maria (sophie's maternity cover) and i sobbed the whole way through :,)
Sophie doesn't have any children....
she was definitely noted as on maternity leave when i saw it lol
@@isaac.aaron.standen She 100% has no kids.
@@isaac.aaron.standen Maria was the maternity cover for the standby Carina Gillespie so when you went Sophie would have been sick or on holiday
