Silvarret: "Yeah I'm making a park today but not going too crazy on the detail though" *Makes realistic highly detailed park* Me: "Yeah I'm going to make a not too crazy house in minecraft today" *Stares at lame dirt house*
It definitely didn't, though. I had a little over 3 hours worth of timelapse recording, and quite a bit more that went unrecorded. I guess this build took around 8 hours.
I think the trees are very effective as a filler as they don't conflict with the rides or buildings and allow them to stand out. The spacing between all the buildings and rides give the park a more realistic look. The big restaurant isn't the best looking building maybe a second floor would help but I hope they add a restaurant where you can see customers at the tables and see waiters going to and fro. I really like the look and feel of this park, well done.
Honestly, I think this is perfect. I love your usual attention to detail, but at the same time I love the more sparse aesthetic to this park; it makes me think of those smaller family-centric parks that are dotted around the UK, but in this instance it is one that is investing in bigger rides and is on the way to expanding. In fact, it most reminds me of Drayton Manor Park. A big thumbs-up from me!
One of my faves of your many wonderful works! Really shows the potential of the game when wielded by a maestro like yourself, especially because it is compact and yet not crowded and so lushly foliaged. Thanks!
Personally, I love the alpine style you do. You've completely mastered it and it always looks beautiful. Fantastic job again Silv, keep up the good work. We're all looking forward to your next masterpiece.
The coaster makes me think of the Goliath, wiche is a coaster in Walibi Holland. wiche must be my favorite real life coaster! the coaster looks really cool, and you did an awesome job on this park!
You're almost to 100k! I've been here since 15k, and it's amazing how you've grown! You're the head of the Planet coaster creators, and you deserve the Playbutton!
its so crazy just thinking about how much more pieces the park has now than the beginning of the alpha, and also how much more it will have in the future
12:08 You mean to high friction, right? I have experienced the same. If you recreate a ride from real life it just doesn't go as fast as you'd imagine.
Yeah, it felt a little bit too low in the earlier alpha, but the friction is way too strong with this one. Perhaps a friction setting like in RCT3 would be handy.
Quick question!! Do the park guest just go into whatever ride or do they actually have like a thrill preference, like RCT2. Because it looks like they just flow into whatever line is open, I'm just wondering
They do, but you can enhance a ride's attractiveness with better theming, especially in the line areas, and with pricing and such. Also be sure to check the loads often because most of them come setup with standard half-loads and set wait times that may not match the crowd demand or the time it takes to load/unload.
I have to disagree with you on the friction of the coasters, the B&M looked sort of spot on in terms of speed. The airtime hills on the B&M's of the last fews years are indeed a bit faster, but overal it looked right to me. Nice simple park!
Zomg, what have you done with the real silvarret? There was an actual rollercoaster experience, twice, at the end of the video! Jokes aside, very nicely done. Must be quite the honor to be asked to do this...
Loved the park as a whole, but I'm a tad upset that the El Loco didn't have a beyond vertical drop. Other than that, looks great! Also, love the Apollo's Chariot inspiration on the hyper
Thanks, good to have the Jared appreciation. I fear the El Loco was too tiny for a beyond vertical drop (seriously, it's miniscule) - it was made as a joke anyway, but fit into the park perfectly somehow.
Hi Silvarret, a few weeks ago I thought about the possibility of you being hired from Frontier to create scenario-parks for the game. I thought this wouldn't happen because you are to crazy with pieces and too unconventional uses of pieces for this. But now you were indeed asked to do some very similar thing with intended piece using only. So... could i expect some cool scenarios in the finished game from the very secret frontier developer silvarret? :-D
In regards to the bigger coaster, if that's supposed to be a hypercoaster, the lift hill is too short. That might be one of the issues with it. Hypercoasters are usually 200 ft+ in height.
Silvarret Well, realistically, Hypercoasters and Gigacoasters tend to have steeper lift hills. Intimidator at Carowinds and Mako at Sea World Orlando are examples of hypers built in relatively tight spaces and with steep lift hills, and Fury 325 at Carowinds and Intimidator 305 at King's Dominion are examples of steep lift hills on Gigas.
Does anybody know what Frontier have said regarding Rapids or Log Flumes? They're my favourite rides to build so kinda want to know if they are in the main game.
I am not sure about a specific ride, but they said a few month ago that there will be a few water rides. Since Rapids and Log Flumes are the most common Waterrides I would call it a save bet to say they gona be in the final game.
hey what about water rides and wooden coasters? are those just gonna come out with the finished game? also do you know if water parks will be available like in RCT3?
what do u say about the ride cam silvarret? would you accept it, if it would stay like this in final release? i think its embarrasing how unsmooth it it, you need to use the smooth tool so much and change the coaster just so the ride cam looks smooth but still it doesnt
You should make a series of you recreating big parks like Disney land, universal, buch gardens, etc, like if you agree (sorry for me begging for attention just really want to see this)
How are you tying chunks of blocks together and copying them as a single unit? That single ability would completely change the way I build but I, for the life of me, cannot get certain blocks to grid together at all.
they really need to fix the ride friction before I buy in to this game. I really want to play it, but coaster building is huge for me and it really is unappealing at the moment.
Same problem here. I think he removed it sadly. R.I.P Me being late to this video, and this channel as this is my like fourth video from him. That's including the theme park screenshots. (Of the smaller parks.. Like Alfhiem for example.) BTW Silvarret if you read this, which I doubt, how much time do you have on Planet coaster? Edit: I have a random guess at you Steam name and got it correct, 1,800 hours... Dayumm.
Does anyone know how big the buildable area is in the game currently? Wondering if you could fit something like Europa Park but it seems a bit small :)
It's pretty small, I don't think EP would fit. I've heard a lot about possible expansion of maps and map shapes in the future, though, I don't have any sources but we shouldn't rule out that maps will get bigger.
Silvarret: "Yeah I'm making a park today but not going too crazy on the detail though"
*Makes realistic highly detailed park*
Me: "Yeah I'm going to make a not too crazy house in minecraft today"
*Stares at lame dirt house*
I can't believe this park takes you 2 hours to build. It's too good and detailed to be true.
It definitely didn't, though. I had a little over 3 hours worth of timelapse recording, and quite a bit more that went unrecorded. I guess this build took around 8 hours.
haha, i said that as a compliment only :p forgive me for sounding bad
No problem, thanks! Just wanted to get that miscommunication out of the way, wherever it came from.
I remember watching this being released... 3 years, and this still holds up!!
Good work and really nice sourprise, I wasn't expecting this
Honestly, I think this is perfect.
Very beautiful park and the blue coaster looked very realistic and smooth.
I absolutely love the S&S coaster. Looks like so much fun to ride. :)
I did show off your park while playing at LegendsOfGaming.. unfortunatly no livestream 🙁 but everyone there loved your park incl. me ofcourse 😄
Oh damn, awesome! Thanks :D
kidding about what?
This is one of my favorite parks yet. Great job even with the limited time limit! Can't wait to get planet coaster myself.
The coaster makes me think of the Goliath, wiche is a coaster in Walibi Holland. wiche must be my favorite real life coaster! the coaster looks really cool, and you did an awesome job on this park!
great job matching the music to the first person ride!
I like playing on prebuilt parks and adding my own "new areas" and now I have a really good starter park :D
wow for work like this you deserve way more than 60,000 subs man. brilliant work
If you see this park you think: "no, this wasn't silvarret, he puts so much more details in!"
so true XD
I love that elephant at 6:47
That restaurant building would make for an amazing train station. It's got the length and the height that would make sense for it
I would not be opposed to seeing more 'speed' builds like this but if it is super taxing then don't worry about it.
Loving the park!! Great job!!
You made my day Silvarret!!!!
great job man, big fan
Like always, very nice work. Love it!
Lol
GET THE BUTTER OUT!
great work. i felt like i was watching a painting.
Great work once again mate
"long" time no see, and then you release such a banger!! Great as alwayse silv!
Just build how you like to build. I like it. Keep it up!
This is amazing Silv. Cool video!
TIL you have a TH-cam account too. Thanks :D
Quick question!! Do the park guest just go into whatever ride or do they actually have like a thrill preference, like RCT2. Because it looks like they just flow into whatever line is open, I'm just wondering
They do, but you can enhance a ride's attractiveness with better theming, especially in the line areas, and with pricing and such. you can build so beautiful, when i see your video i get a lot of energy :)
Love your videos! Really amazing and great content. Keep up the awesome work!
Are you dutch? Super amazing park though! Can't wait for the release of planet Coaster.
yes he is :)
ok
yeah i definitely saw the very simplistic but recognizable rct1/2 toilet stall in the one you built at 15:00 lol
I have to disagree with you on the friction of the coasters, the B&M looked sort of spot on in terms of speed. The airtime hills on the B&M's of the last fews years are indeed a bit faster, but overal it looked right to me. Nice simple park!
Omg !! Amazing park❤️❤️
Zomg, what have you done with the real silvarret? There was an actual rollercoaster experience, twice, at the end of the video! Jokes aside, very nicely done. Must be quite the honor to be asked to do this...
I agree with the friction thing!
This game looks so damn beautiful and amazing! I feel sorry for the RCTW developers having this as their competition.
as soon as the cinematic shots played my computer tanked, I think that means that it was really butimus and my computer couldnt handle it
If you were a chef you would be that guy who'd put fresh herbs like parsley, chives, and rosemary on all of their dishes "just to spruce it up"
I am speechless !!!
I love your vids so far 👍👍
LOVED the music! wheres it from? Also very pretty park for being so quick!
20:08 why can he view the coaster from the front view? i only can pick the pov view?
the ride you added in the park reminds me of mako from seaworld
Loved the park as a whole, but I'm a tad upset that the El Loco didn't have a beyond vertical drop. Other than that, looks great! Also, love the Apollo's Chariot inspiration on the hyper
Thanks, good to have the Jared appreciation. I fear the El Loco was too tiny for a beyond vertical drop (seriously, it's miniscule) - it was made as a joke anyway, but fit into the park perfectly somehow.
"I try to keep the amount of pieces as low as I can" --- Stacks spire in spire
so talented.
love your videos
Very nice video!
within 5 min 100 views nice job silvane!
Can you. Build a jungle theme. Sort or like Busch gardens in Florida
Haha awesomeness! 😃
Was there a livestream for the contest? Link if possible would be appreciated ;)
Silvarret, if you can, will you do a more in-depth thing related to scenery building?
Your amazing! By the way, I've never played PC, but how long do lines get for coasters? Are they short like RCT3 or more realistic?
Hi Silvarret, a few weeks ago I thought about the possibility of you being hired from Frontier to create scenario-parks for the game. I thought this wouldn't happen because you are to crazy with pieces and too unconventional uses of pieces for this. But now you were indeed asked to do some very similar thing with intended piece using only. So... could i expect some cool scenarios in the finished game from the very secret frontier developer silvarret? :-D
Your architectural skills are amazing!! Did you go to college for this type of stuff?
In regards to the bigger coaster, if that's supposed to be a hypercoaster, the lift hill is too short. That might be one of the issues with it. Hypercoasters are usually 200 ft+ in height.
Strictly speaking yeah, I would call it a megacoaster. A real hyper or giga seemed a bit too large for the park, this is already stretching it haha.
Silvarret
Well, realistically, Hypercoasters and Gigacoasters tend to have steeper lift hills. Intimidator at Carowinds and Mako at Sea World Orlando are examples of hypers built in relatively tight spaces and with steep lift hills, and Fury 325 at Carowinds and Intimidator 305 at King's Dominion are examples of steep lift hills on Gigas.
do the episodes more longer!! pls i want moreeeeeee!
Are you going to leave a link to download this map cause it looks awesome!
i wish it would be possible in the future to visit all your parks in VR ^_^
awesome! thanks
Does anybody know what Frontier have said regarding Rapids or Log Flumes? They're my favourite rides to build so kinda want to know if they are in the main game.

hey what about water rides and wooden coasters? are those just gonna come out with the finished game? also do you know if water parks will be available like in RCT3?
Probably not with release. RCT3 didn't have it the first 2 years either.
what do u say about the ride cam silvarret? would you accept it, if it would stay like this in final release? i think its embarrasing how unsmooth it it, you need to use the smooth tool so much and change the coaster just so the ride cam looks smooth but still it doesnt

Tim Roetman damn boi, i just wanted to see something you don't gotta put me on the spot
Young Metro He said he hates recreating parks. It doesn't let him let his creativity flow.
He is not allowed to do that, and make unique parks is better than recreate some real ones
Wish I got the alpha now 😔 the banking of the track on the blue coaster is perfect by the way.........
16:20 'It is almost going to hit the tower'
Silvarret is 9/11 confirmed
If they blindfolded you, you could still build a better park than me LOL
Have still alot to learn
You should add a cave in the trees somewhere :3
What did you use for the grey flooring under the buildings at the beginningm
Hello my friend! Komt er binnenkort nog parkitect of is dat gedaan? Pls Answer thx, have a Nice day
Are u going to ride all coasters when this park is finished
see the end of the video
Dont comment without seeing the whole video
Sorry
These comments are the sweetest, thanks for clearing everything up before I viewed this guys.
Silvarret Np
Hi Silvarret 👋
Nice video 😊
Grate build
About the friction rate, typically you lose 18% of hight from one element to the next. (In real life)
How are you tying chunks of blocks together and copying them as a single unit? That single ability would completely change the way I build but I, for the life of me, cannot get certain blocks to grid together at all.
Selecting multiple pieces by clicking on them while holding down CTRL, then pressing CTRL+X ;)
Ahh it is magic, thanks! Finally able to duplicate complex pieces
Nice!
The blue coaster looks like alpina blitz in nigloland
I really enjoy your videos but you should show the parks from above when you are done. So that we can see the whole park at once.
He did at the end
how did you get that UI?
is the contest recorded? do you have a link?
I heard it was recorded, but I haven't seen it being uploaded yet. Waiting for it just like you.
I can never seem to master the pathing/scenary in these games, and as a result my parks look amateur...
can u make rocks giants in your park
You are like the bob ross of simulation games.
they really need to fix the ride friction before I buy in to this game. I really want to play it, but coaster building is huge for me and it really is unappealing at the moment.
Any chance of a Workshop link?
For sure: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=768386320
Awesome. Thanks Silvarret!
File not found, did you remove it or something?
Same problem here. I think he removed it sadly. R.I.P Me being late to this video, and this channel as this is my like fourth video from him. That's including the theme park screenshots. (Of the smaller parks.. Like Alfhiem for example.) BTW Silvarret if you read this, which I doubt, how much time do you have on Planet coaster?
Edit: I have a random guess at you Steam name and got it correct, 1,800 hours... Dayumm.
what’s the name of the song in the end?
the steam workshop link doesn't work anymore!
Now if we could import No Limits 2 rides for people like me that can't do custom scenery with 3D Max.
It's not on the workshop.
The way you kept saying how standard and boring your buildings are when they look like disneyland compared to my poor efforts
Guys can i run this game with GT940MX, core i5-7200U, 4GB RAM?
