  • This engine was sent to me by a friend to break it in and tune it with 12% nitro!

    Great video as always! That piston must be Picco’s version of a “dished” piston, the head of the piston is indented slightly to slightly reduce compression and allow more fuel into the combustion chamber.

      THANKS! This circle surprised me because the piston seems to be flat! but they changed a few details from the previous version, picco as well as other brands are making some improvements to the new engines to make them run better on the low nitro fuel, this Picco ran great with 12% nitro !

    I wish the Picco market was a little bigger over here in the states. Every picco I ever owned was a screamer and preformed awesome there’s just little to no support for them over here. And sometimes I just don’t trust sending a 1/2 K overseas and hoping for the best 🤣 so most of what I run nowadays “Drake”OS’s or a protec RM ( which is basically an OS) oh and some Reds stuff I don’t trust Nova yet.

      Sad for you guys in the US!! OS engines are great, very expensive but great engines. When you buy an OS you get what you pay for, but when you buy a picco, much cheaper, you get more then what you pay for, thats why i love this brand so much! And i don't trust Nova either -_-

    Looking really good. Never seen a circle like that and it seems flat. Love your editing buddy👌 Great vid again 👊

      Thank you Kings, looking much better than the last one!! A regular P3tt with some nice improvements. Usually when picco come out with a DLC version of their current engine (p3x, blast..) that announces the release of a new model, cant wait to see what they will come out with!! Hopefully a new sleeve design as they have been using the same sleeve design since the p3x, i would like to something different, like FX did with the 502 from 501

    Looks like a great engine. Its always difficult to see the speed on video, how does it compare to your other 21 engines? Great video as always!

    • @TastyBRC
      @TastyBRC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are right Robert, difficult to see in the video and difficult to compare to my other .21's as this one was running on 12% nitro. I still found that it was running surprisingly strong on such low nitro content fuel, very consistent and the temp was perfect. But I only burnt a bit less than 2L with it as it's not my engine

    Heya Tasty B !!
    Do you know what the thickness is of the total shim stack or head clearance ?
    I notice in your vid there are 3 head shims. Are they all the same thickness each or some slightly thinner ? (what sizes?)
    But in the manual it shows only 2 total shims. One .2 shim and one .1 shim
    So I'm curious to know what actually came with this engine ? :)
    Thanks man ! Great content BTW :)

    • @TastyBRC
      @TastyBRC  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you!
      All my piccos come with .6mm head shimming. I also noticed that the manual shows 2 shims only but its always 3 shims. Not always the same thickness, but the total is always .6mm

    • @jp_sweeck
      @jp_sweeck 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@TastyBRC Cool man, thanks for the heads-up ! 👍
      Nice to know then that they are all consistent at .6mm
      Now and again I play around with head shimming myself, so wanted to find out what was stock shim-stack for a reference point.
      Peace !

    C'est le PICCO qui a été échangé ? celui qui avait une fissure ?
    Il a l'air de bien tourner 👌et en plus il est beau 👍

    Where can I find this engine at.

    • @TastyBRC
      @TastyBRC  ปีที่แล้ว

      I live in France and it's available in many shops here, also cheaper on eb@y directly from Italy, easy to find here, dont know if its sold outside Europe!
