I totally agree, picco quality is outstanding, probably getting it to running temp a couple times my fix the sleeve issue, afterall she is not running that bad. But the bearing may be an issue in the short term
This does not look good. If the crankcase there is damaged and has play, the new bearing won't last really long. It's likely to fail after a couple of liters. Repinch like this is definitely not good. It creates a lot of stress on the rod and bearings. Very curious how long this refreshment will last. Great vid buddy
Thank you Kings, the rear bearing was a bit to easy to install... so Im not very confident, hope he can burn 5l with it, we will see, ill let you know. Its a miracle that this picco still running, it had a very rough life
Definitely repinch to far down the sleeve!!! But you should be able to heat up really hot on sleeve, a that back bearing was not put in straight and probably not with a bearing tool it’s a shame? What was the back bearing size? Tasty?
Yes, he should be able to reheat the sleeve and try to fixt that but not sure is worth the effort, dont know if the bearing will hold on. Its regular 25.4 bearing. And yes he replaced the bearings without the proper tool, its not impossible, i do that with the Lrps ,my took wont fit those but need to be very careful. Thank you Tony.
Where you able to drive it and test it under load? - You are right she doesn’t sound perfect but, I hope the engine is ok enough to drive a couple liters before it dies Thanks for the vid Tasty 🩷
Exactly, that was the goal, get it to run a few more litres. No I didnt run the the car, just a quick box tune, lack free time, rain.. Ad3 waiting for break-in, Rebuilding a old nova, new reds coming 😁 (not mine but im happy to test a reds) Thanks for stopping by ✌️
Liking and commenting to learn and flood nitro in my algorithm
Thank you!
Run it for a while it may correct itself and run for a long time , Piccos are strong strong 💪

tasty b the engine repairer :P Great job as always seems to run a lot better after your magic touch :D
Thank you Alistair, think there is no miracle possible, this picco is at the end of its life 😭
Good job!!!
Thank you Sakis👍

Yo wtf is going on here do you have 2 throttle servos??
Thats the old tlr radio tray design.. both trhottle and steering servos are side to side
