Aloha, First time commenting. An interesting spot is "Uosan" in Monzennaka cho. Great seafood in a izakaya setting. A long line forms at 4PM before opening, but the line goes fast. For Thomas, try visiting Konno Juku in Nakameguro for some interesting Karate training. Konno Sensei is also a famous author, music producer among many other talents. Enjoy your vlogs!

Thank you for showing us another hidden gem >w< I'm heading to Japan next week for a month and your vlogs are giving me so many good ideas :D I've heard that Jiyugaoka is a really cute place with great cafes and shops too, maybe you could check that out one day!

I have a suggestion for an amazing restaurant you guys will love! It's called DonDon館(kan) and it's in Nippori. The owner and his wife basically built the restaurant themselves within a house. It's an okonomiyaki restaurant, really cozy and only has about 4 tables so you have to make a reservation. The owner is amazing and pulls pranks on you and does magic tricks. The house is also rigged so he can use it in his tricks. You'd have a fantastic time and be able to make a great video there! They don't really speak English and I don't know how good your Japanese is so I'd recommend taking a Japanese speaking friend with you if your Japanese isn't great. (I went with some English and Japanese friends.) And lastly mention that Gill and Jon from the UK recommend it to you. They held a special night for us after our friend made the reservation, with a special sign outside and everything! haha
And don't worry Thomas, there is a much easier chopstick rest you can make out of the packet. It uses like 4/5 folds 😂
