Hello, person who might be coming back to relive a possible favorite Desert Bus memory! If you might be wondering the name of the song Bučan Bučan is playing (because I certainly was), it's called "Otpisani" and it can be found on their album "Labud."
There's raising the bar, and then there's standing on top of the bar and throwing a second bar far over your head. This is akin to the latter, but moreso.
I'm so glad I saw this live. I was in tears. Last year, I thought Graham on the scissor lift was the best shift entry ever - Andrew has seriously raised the bar. And the band was great, too!
Okay. First the "Not Ready For Primetime Players" homage was *PERFECT* and hit me right in the nostalgia. ...and then the segue to the musical guest. Wow. Mad props to Bucan Bucan (sp) they were fanDIRTYWORDtastic! I'll admit that it is still POSSIBLE to outdo Andrew's amazing intro, but he's set the bar so high it's hard to see for the clouds. :)
James' shift intro was WAY more awesome than this one, but that's not even fair, so I won't count it. I'd say Alex's Evangelion intro was about on par with this. Beej's 12 hour long intro was pretty close as well.
God that intro was amazing. Stellar. Awesome. But you only get a 99/100 because the cast members weren't read in alphabetical order. It's an authenticity thing
Yeah, but they could have also been in the first part where they're being introduced with along with the boys. I mean, even SNL has at least one female and one non-white person in their main cast.
I still come back to this video when I need to just smile a bunch.
me, too

Andrew did more than that.
Andrew has, as with most things he does, raised the bar to a level that is frankly unfair for other participants.
And it's completely cool, because he does it for the joy of everyone around him.

SO happy I got to WITNESS THIS live! XD
Andrew plans this wonderful intro and James gets the credit in the preview thumbnail.
That first Trombone player KILLED IT. This was awesome.

it was indeed fan-busing-tastic
One might even say fan-bučan-tastic
I think this is actually now my all time favorite Desert Bus moment
Andrew. Buddy. Pleeeease get them back for this year! This is by FAR the best shift intro ever!
there's commitment to the bit, then there's this.
Beej trying to get into yellow jacket is the best
i actually couldnt tell the difference between this and the real thing
No wonder Matt crashed the bus during the shift change.
That was .... AMAZING!
so glad I got to see this live
No one will ever top this.
Best. Intro. EVER!
Iiiiiit's Saturday Night Drive!
omg missed opportunity haha
I was there for this LIVE and it was AMAZING
This is top-notch, frickin love it XD
This whole thing was perfect.
I wish I knew the song that the band played
how someone will Top this this year. I have no idea. I doubt it ever will!
This year nobody did top it IMO. Next year... we'll see? Maybe Andrew will retire champion of intros, maybe he'll space bid himself.

@@HumbleWooper Building db10 in his apartment is perhaps a similar level, adjusting for pandemic
That Death Grips shirt is amazing.
I do not know where I was or why I did not see that live, but that was some God Tier intro shit right there.
That tophat trombone guy was getting CRUNK at 3:50
Anyone know what music they have in the background?
I'm glad I saw that life
Dammit Matt ye had one job.
Damn.
God that intro was amazing. Stellar. Awesome.

Wow, Andrew just made it impossible to make a better intro.
Just remember all you guys are to blame for Sicilian vampire. #blamecanada
just a boy's club this ey? where are all the women and trans-gender people? c'mon guys , this is not good!
... Really? Shush.
Actually, I was a little dismayed at that as well. Also, all of them were white. Why no Cameron, Heather, or Cori?
... It's one segment.
MsNosis they show up in the second half of the clip. Hell of a brass section.
