You're blaming a little kid for getting lost and separated during a flod? If anything I blame the parents more, considering the river he got lost in was litterally a STRAIGHT LINE. They could have looked for him.

@tuckerhawkey9561 rains happen upstream and when that rain starts to collect into dry river beds it dosant seep into the soil fast enough and instead becomes a flash flood downstream
The fact that this went into such a tragic scene so quickly made the film way better but sadder
