There's tons of tree channels out there in TH-cam-land, but none of them match August's channel. There's a few I watch. Many I quit watching, because they're more interested in hearing themselves talk, than showing tree work I remember a video August made years ago, and he commented on how long he spent, looking for just the right music for the video, or a certain shot in the video. This video, is a perfect representation of that meticulous mentality, and his desire to create works of art. TH-cam could go away tomorrow and I'd miss August's channel the most. Thanks for the videos, man.
Damn well done. I think August likes obstacles below just so he can show us how dang skillful he is at missing the "targets". The guy is one talented treeologist!
Great video August, super artistic and I like the way you innovate just like your Monkey Beaver. Love the shot with the last top and you hand aiming it to align with the side of the corral! Ya got mad skeeels.
Ok Mr. Artsy Fartsy, not bad, but frankly, you don't need to dazzle us in the editing room; your mastery of your craft comes through loud and clear regardless :-)
100% reminds me of your post from a while ago, "Neighbor Cut BIG Roots". The music choice was perfect for that tree and the saddest ending ever :( I knew you were trying to say something with that music choice and I instantly burst into tears at the end. RIP Meadow :( Pianists can bring out so much emotion, instruments from the Gods.
I love when you make this style of video! Such a masterpiece and cool to see you using a jailbreak… I’m curious if you like it or not? Maybe that’s in the longer video 🤷♂️🧐. Thanks for continuing to make videos for us. Look forward to the next episode August
Fun looking job. I’m not a tree man. I bought a 105 arbor pro to use in my millwright work. A great asset to my 38t 127 Altec. A guy close a job asked me to help him take down a couple trees. Needless to say,,, we had a blast. Thinking about Mr Hunicke the whole time
I say you were making a point of couple things. One your editorial skills, along with your talent for setting up great footage while displaying your talents as a tree surgeon. Yes, all that falls under first, but second is a example of time management if I've ever seen an efficient crew at work. Additionally I think economics, and a little burnout have taken they're toll on your normal upbeat full of enthusiasm for whatever comes your way. No one can fault you, and if they do Well then they don't really know the person that you are is all I have to say. Everyone is really starting to feel what's effected a good many of us long before you started showing signs that it was hitting your world. Nothing to be ashamed of, as you have put up a valiant effort many couldn't maintain, and your definitely not out of the game. Just suffering a little burnout from running a business, and doing TH-cam as seriously as you were for so long, would bring anyone to the point of exhaustion, and many couldn't have maintain the level you have for so many years. You have a lot to be proud of, and don't let this get you down. Look to the man inside yourself, and to the Higher Power of your faith. You'll find that you're long way from down and out. You have your family, your crew, and a whole lot of us that believe in you. Head up, eye's forward, and trust in your beliefs to guide you through. Not many have what you have, because they forgot the Beliefs they were raised with, are took it for granted. We all know where that leads those, so follow what got you through life, and remember this is just another bump in the road of life.
In general, I really enjoy watching your videos, August. You are a very skilled arborist, teacher and content maker. I get it, it looks cool when you play bits of footage backwards, large branches/limbs/pieces falling up and down...... but man, I hate, when you do that. I may have limited mental capacity in that sense, but I completely loose track of cronology, when the same piece of wood goes up and down multiple times, and I dislike getting confused. I will stay subscribed and keep hitting like, just know, that we are not all fans of that cinematic trick. ☀️👍☀️.
I won't cut trees down on our family's property unless there's an absolute need for firewood. I always hope on winter, weather and the failing trees to provide before looking elsewhere.
It is not apparent to me as to why customer wanted that tree down. Sad to see it get dismembered...expertly , in slow motion with kinda somber music. Perfect fell!
I don't fully know the reason but form all the videos I've watched August, can I hazard a guess "The tree is too tall" "that weirdo split above I saw on youtube it'll split and explode and demolish the house, let all the horses out and cause total carnage"? Even thou my inexperienced mind thinks that maybe that tree could have been given a life extension if it were for a little bit of cabling, like the dynemia slinging you did with your extreme splicing video (that view was awesome thou) Thank you for the awesome videos thou and for showing the whole picture instead of just the awesome.
This was no mere tree cutting video...this was a cinematic masterpiece.

August, you are a master at your trade of tree dismantling as well as a genius at video production. Thanks for more quality content to enjoy !👍
“Of course, today’s not Friday.” 😂
Enjoyed the video. A fun tree. Thanks for taking us along.
Ah slow motion, that’s how I get about my day now, once you get that certain age everything slows right down, super post august 😊
That last line took me by surprise! I truly enjoyed the cinematography. Thank you, August! ❤😂😂
Come for the tree cutting, stay for the awesome cinematography. August - your artistry did that majestic tree the Justice it deserved. ❤️
I cried happy tears.
Thanks for what you do August. Appreciate you sharing your knowledge and cinematic videoing.

If Steinway made chainsaws.
Poetry in motion. Thanks
Thanks for playing around with the speed. It was intertaining.
Another one bites the dust
LOL 'A slow & torturous death, by a thousand teeth!!'
The man's an artist in more ways than one!
This needs more likes. The shadows added so much to this video. Nice work!
You are an artist! The music, the editing - a thing of beauty!
Very film noire like. Cool music too. Great cinematic post. I liked it. But I seem to like all your vids
That was awesome. Thanks guys!
That was super dramatic. Nicely done.
Excellent as always. You are IRONMAN. 💥👊💥
beautiful video.
The music was like a dirge (for the tree, I mean)
"Of course, today's not Friday" 😂
I shed a tear watching this

Song is called " Despair and Triumph " by Kevin MacLeod.

Good job like always
Another big and heavy hazard mitigated. 👍

Today is not YOUR Friday, but it's Friday for me!
Nice camera work 😃
Hi August one of the best love it ( Ty Ron
Enjoyed the video, love the Jail Brake, new tool? How do you like it?
happy weekend Gust
Curious what you think about Morbark chipper.
Wow amazing love your ability to create art out of video.
Such a cool video
Very nice!!
The drama. Oh my. 🏆
I love it.
Woah.... what's this "jail break" gizmo??!
Great camera work!
"FIN"
Waouw what a superb video
The horse is going to freak out about something being different.
Beautiful music, appropriate for the demise of a noble being.
I wonder if that Corral is portable enough to have been moved before the tree job and make it that much faster?

☀️👍☀️.
It’s OK, I basically do what I want. 🤷🏼♂️😁
New higher resolution camera? Image was very sharp. And of course quite creative.
August is that a new chipper? I know you have been using the BC1000 in the past.
I won't cut trees down on our family's property unless there's an absolute need for firewood. I always hope on winter, weather and the failing trees to provide before looking elsewhere.
helal olsun maaşallah....
a teaser of what you can actually do in a tree cut and a video edit.
✊
Nice
Cool azz video.
AND THE OSCAR GOES TO GRANTS PASS KID {AUGUST}
#getaugustto200k
Is that electric saw you use a 350i
You're making art out of tree work
Great job

You went back to Morbark for your chipper? What do you think of it?
It’s awesome
Longer video to come WOOHOO !!!!! 😁
Is this a tree removal or a tree funeral? 😁
I don't fully know the reason but form all the videos I've watched August, can I hazard a guess "The tree is too tall" "that weirdo split above I saw on youtube it'll split and explode and demolish the house, let all the horses out and cause total carnage"?

Thank you for the awesome videos thou and for showing the whole picture instead of just the awesome.
Or the other option is being what looks like a pine, the inherent nature of the pine, self pruning, spooked the owner, maybe upset their horse
Virtually no hinge, you must have been confident of fall direction because of weight lean.
August I got new go pro to make better video
