He channels 7th century ancient China thourgh his voice. When I listen, I see the painting of river, ferryman, cherry blossom, beautiful sunset, mountain and even feel the gentle breeze.

I do think Dimash will sing even better when he ages. His voice has already matured in these 4 years, gained new colours, his lows became more full and resonant. He may or may not lose some of those very high head notes when the focal folds age, but then - he has still falsetto, like other men. Dimash rarely sings in falsetto (since his head voice reaches naturally so high notes). But his falsetto is heavenly beautiful. And after all, it's not about range but interpretation and emotions. And that he already does incredibly well. With age and life experience it will only become richer, I think. But how long his active singing career lasts...nobody knows. I hope very long. Probably he will always be engaged with music in some way, composing, teaching etc.
I love this song so much, it is really touching my heart, every time! I can feel the pain, longing and love and happiness in Dimash's voice at the same time, emotions that are always combined with love and friendship while being apart or saying goodbye... The tenderness of Dimash's singing is killing me, he is very different here, again a very new side of Dimash. Just love it! There is really not much more to say than: soo beautiful... ❤🤗❤ FYI ... I'm glad you like what Dimash is wearing. I do too. I got curious about the white tunic, so I researched what was written on it. It is an old poem "Spencer's Faerie Queen" by Edmund Spencer. Originally written in 1596. I bought the book. Here is the quote from the book:

Dimash said he would sing a song by the Chinese poet Chang Julin (678-740 AD), who lived during the Tang Dynasty. So the age of the poems is about 1300 years! The song says the two friends are splitting up, but their friendship, despite a distance of 1,000 miles, will remain strong. Who is the author of the music, I do not know. Oh Dios mìo, este tema es tan hermoso. Pienso que Dimash es un embajador de tantas culturas, nos cuenta sus historias con su voz, sus manos, su expresiòn cultural. Sin duda un cantante fuera de serie, un prodigio... En este tema me encanta que no hace tanta potencia en su voz, solo lo necesario para contarnos entre suspiros y vientos esta bella historia china.
