      Best check out the thread on electric unicycle forum on the numerous build issues which have not been mentioned in this review. It’s your money, of course, to do with what you think best. As a potential buyer, it changed my mind completely, just sayin’. Happy trails!

    Amazing video with great descriptions compared to other wheels. I hope someone in my area gets a T4 so I can try it out. I agree, the Hero feels like it is heavier than the Master. I find that interesting you say you put your feet forward on the pedals on the Hero. I feel like it is more balanced with feet anchored slightly to the back. Good to hear that the T4 feels centered. I dont like the seated experience on the Hero, something about it just doesnt mesh well with me. Can you give us a desciption of how the seated experience feels on the T4? How does the wheel feel riding it on the street ~25-30mph compared to the Hero? More stable or sketchy? Can you give a rough estimate on the range of the T4 compared to the Hero? Thanks man, good videos as always!

    • @EUCWayOfLife
      @EUCWayOfLife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! Seated riding will be this week, I did do a range test yesterday that video will be up tomorrow and the speed on that test was about 20-22mph. For stability the biggest thing on this wheel at speed would be 1 what type of tire YOU are uses to and 2 how much psi you run in it. I upped the psi to about 40 for my range test and I got used to it within a couple miles but at first it was very zippy like when your car tire has too much psi and wants to grab everything on the road.

    Thanks for your review. I'm trying to decide on the t4 or the s22 the only wheel I have ever had is the s18. I have never tried any other wheel. And it was stolen out of my garage. So I need to get one. I'm leaning towards the t4

    • @EUCWayOfLife
      @EUCWayOfLife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Personally for the price point I would get the T4 just because out of the box suspension works better and it's a lighter easier wheel. If you are looking for speed and range tho the s22 may have it beat by a small margin

    Great Video once again Casey, thanks. Have you worked out what knobby tires will fit it yet? How much clearance is there between the standard tire and the closest solid part, I’m guessing that is the guard mount. I have a T4 arriving in a couple of weeks and want a knobby on it.

    • @EUCWayOfLife
      @EUCWayOfLife  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm going to do all my testing with it stock for now so until that is done no fitting of the knobby will be done yet, however this tire does perform really well offroad (dry conditions so far) includes grass and loose gravel.
      But once I'm done testing it as stock I'll slap the 241 shinko on it

    @CrossroadWater ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Nice video, but I'm surprised at how hard you are on the RS 19 HT since a lot of riders consider it the gold standard (at least in the non-suspension category) for off-road hilly terrain.
    I have one from the latest batch with P42 Molicel packs and knobbys and it eats anything and everything you can throw at it. It grunts a little when starting from a stop but every wheel I've ever ridden seems to do that to some degree.
    Anyhoo, glad you like the T4, seems like a pretty decent wheel. If Begode would make it (and all the wheels in the Master series) with proper front and rear drop protection, I'd be much closer to being a buyer.

    • @EUCWayOfLife
      @EUCWayOfLife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! I had 2 RST's so I had the ability to test 2 thinking one may be defective but for what I do here in Washington on one ofu trails I ended up walking the wheel more than riding it and was super pissed. It's not that it can't eat anything it's that it requires you to do a certain speed to really get that power OR have good pads and REALLY lean into that leverage point to extract it. This wheel you do not have to do that...
      I don't do crazy single tracks stuff but I'm not that concerned about the batteries in an impact if you think about wheels like an RS it's a battery pack behind a THIN plastic shell which imo is really no different than this wheel so I don't understand why everyone complains 🤷

    • @CrossroadWater
      @CrossroadWater ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EUCWayOfLife That's a bummer about your RS experience, I find here in Atlanta on relatively smooth asphalt, the torque is right where I want it, but then again I'm not negotiating small boulders and huge tree roots on a normal basis.
      I can definitely see how a tourquey 16" wheel would fit your bill very nicely. My 16x is pretty darn spunky on trails, and pretty tanky to boot, but alas no suspension.
      I hear your point on bumpers, just seems like at the price they would at least make an effort to beef up the exterior of the wheel for better protection. Anyhoo.. Have a great day : )

      @EUCWayOfLife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CrossroadWater agreed on the last part. Kingsong did such a great job with all the options, accessories, grab points, and overall build of the s22 and the new Begode wheels your basically getting batteries, a motor pedals and board lol
      What kinda erks me is the mten4 comes with a kickstand, master and master pro, ex20s, etc all have kickstands and the T4 doesn't... Like why?! But I make one so not a big deal but not everyone has the abilites or a printer(s).
      For street riding I would agree I road the rs19HT a lot on paved trails and although it was easy cruising 30 it was not the most comfortable stance with it's angled pedals and wide low body. The T4 I believe is wider but because of where the width is it makes it more comfortable for longer rides.

      From my experience the s18 is a little grunty but doesn't have any issues the T4 is a little smoother I believe the biggest difference really is going to be the range between the wheels. The T4 although being a 16" wheel should feel substantially more torque I wouldn't say it's a staggering or noticeable different for dding

    All of these reviews comparing how all these wheels made you "feel" are just matters of opinion. The reviews are only made to help people make a better decision on buying a wheel. I assure most of you looking for a wheel. If you buy a wheel and take it easy for 1000 miles, you'll fall in love. They all require a certain amount of time to appreciate their abilities. I think most of the time, a wheel "feels" off because your muscles aren't used to that particular wheel. Once you've conditioned your body to your wheel and don't jump on another one, you'll start to notice you are becoming one with your wheel. Just trying to spread some gospel. Most wheels are amazing, I'd just use range and weight specs to pick a wheel then just learn how to ride it like a boss.
