One thing that I think helps me, if I'm striking with my laces, is to try to curl my toes and make a "fist" with my foot. It's kinda like punching the ball as opposed to slapping it. I'm not sure if it actually adds more power, but it makes sense to me. All the other tips here are solid.

This might be late, but try to stop shooting barefoot, and just practice what was in the video. I got out of the barefoot technique by just never practicing without my boots. Head down and whip it

Ive been practicing by shooting whenever i have a chance but I can’t practice shooting the ball not even once a week because the upper part of my inner thigh close to my groin starts hurting. Am I warming up the wrong way, am I putting too much force( isn’t that what you’re supposed to do to get better shot power?), or do i need to strengthen my inner thigh? It’s very annoying and frequently happens I really need some advice please anyone reply and help address this problem
