I do my best! I'm sure some has slipped through the cracks, but I appreciate your time watching my video and leaving a comment. So, I do my best to show you how appreciative I am with my actions! Have a great day! 😁🫶🏻
There’s two things that help prevent your foot from hitting the ground when you shoot. Firstly, it’s your lean. When you’re shooting you have a slight lean to your side to help balance out your body. Between this and your standing foot placement being about 6 inches from the ball, your leg has to come out at an angle to hit the middle of the ball. This angle allows your leg to be fully extended so you can hit the ball with power, while also preventing you from kicking the ground. Your angle of approach depends on the type of shot you’re hitting. If you’re using your laces, I want this angle to be between 30-45 degrees. The ball should be just outside your hip line when taking your prep touch before shooting. I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
Depends on how much curl you get consistently on your shots! Some players get lots of whip and shape on their curlers in comparison to others. My advice is to go find out how much curl you get on your shots consistently. Trial and error. Take shots and keep aiming wider and wider until you’re consistently putting it in the side panel. Then you know about how far wide you should aim for yourself! Hope this helps😁🫶🏼
Tip: hitting it low is better than hitting it high since 1, the goalkeeper high dives faster and longer than they low dive, 2. Low shots have more power since your using energy on keeping it high than putting power on it which causes it to be 20-30% less fast, but you want to keep it 5-10 degrees high still so it doesn't hit the grass which stops the balls momentum
And it’s also easier to miss the target entirely when aiming high. If you aim top corner, and you hit it too high then it goes over the goal. But if you aim low and the ball goes high, it’ll fly into the top corner😁👍🏼
@@salmannoob4946 To keep your shots lower than usual. Use the exact same technique except: 1. Lean your body over the ball more and 2. strike the ball a little bit higher than usual (right around the midline of the ball). These two details usually go together since leaning over the ball makes it more difficult to hit under the ball and sky your shots. I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
You're very welcome! I'm not ambidextrous unfortunately... I'm very much right footed, but one great thing that came out of it is I learned how to improve my left foot! It used to be terrible... Now it is much better. It still has room to improve but it is miles better than it used to be! Thank you for your comment! Your question is a really nice compliment😊🫶🏻🫶🏻
Of course! To lock your ankle when shooting you need to keep your toes pointed down. Try it right now. You have to activate all those muscles throughout your shot. If you fail to do it then your toe comes up. For passing you lock your ankle the opposite way. Now you’re pointing your toes up and activating the muscles throughout the pass. You want to keep your toes up in this case. I hope it helps😁🫶🏼
I've got a partial ACL torn, non-surgery, and it feels bad on me. This injury really taking away my striking sense and of course my shooting power. Any suggestions on how to overcome this kind of situation, or perhaps some effective technique? Thank you!
I think it’s important that you maintain your good technique! If you start compensating for your knee you’ll likely lose some of your power and accuracy from that! My advice would be to work with a physical therapist or a strength trainer to help strengthen your knee. Just make sure whatever you do for your knee that you’re being careful and slowly increase the resistance and strain you’re putting on your muscles around it. Do what you can but be smart and listen to your body! Best of luck! Let me know if you have any more questions or anything else I can help with😁🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

My problem is that anytime I shoot, the ball has back spin and skys over the net. Even if I try hitting the middle it still has backspin. Can you help?
Absolutely! You need to keep your ankle locked and toe down throughout the whole shot. If your toe comes up as your foot is in contact with the ball, it creates backspin. I call this “flicking” your ankle. It’s good on grasscutters or pings but you don’t want it on your shots. If you keep your toe down, ankle locked, and hit the middle of the ball it will have little to no backspin on the shot. In fact, it may even have dip or top spin depending on your follow through. I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
I got you! Get a partner and have them about five yards away from you. Then have them toss the ball to your feet in the air and volley it back to their chest with your laces. Here’s how you know if you’re doing it correctly. If the ball has little to no spin on it going back to his hands then you’re locking your ankle. If the ball has lots of backspin on it, then your toes came up and you didn’t keep your ankle locked. This drill is great because you can get 30-50 reps with each foot easily and every day. As opposed to shooting which gets really taxing on your body. Remember to keep those toes pointed down!! I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
It honestly just takes hundreds and thousands of reps. Do lots of training on your own on shooting. Just make sure you aren’t hitting dead balls, the ball needs to be rolling to improve your timing of your run up. Every time you train you have to be intentional about not stuttering. You may feel awkward at times or stretch your stride too far out and lose power but that’s okay. We’re trying to get rid of your stutter habit first. After that and all this practice, the timing will become second nature to you! I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
@@KreiderAcademy ty so much i watched ur drills for practicing and been doing it for a week. Tonight in training I sent two screamers to the top bin and the coach was really impressed. Love the channel
Why can’t you create backswing? Locking your ankle as you shoot is a habit that needs to be built. To work on this, have a partner toss you the ball to your foot. Volley it back with the laces of your foot back to their hands. Keep your toes pointed down as you do this (locking your ankle). If done correctly, the volley back will have power and will make a deep thumping sound. If you do not lock your ankle, the volley will have backspin on it and have a higher-pitch, popping sound. I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
My problem is that I can't hit the laces part of my foot when I'm shooting i tried ankle my foot but i still don't hit it and my foot isn't locked 😢😢😢😢

@@BlazingGuard don't just simply lock your ankle..Lock in such a way that you slightly rotate your leg outward..and for follow through make sure you land by your kicking foot while shooting the ball
Yep! Point your toes down and keep them pointed down. Doing this requires you to use the muscles and tendons around your ankle.. So if you do it as you shoot, your ankle will stay “locked” as we like to call it! I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
That’s totally natural! You just have to master the habit so it becomes second nature to lock your ankle as you strike the ball. My advice for players struggling with this is to do this drill every time you train. Get a partner and have them 3-5 yards away from you with the ball their hand. Have them toss the ball to your feet so you can volley it back to their chest with your laces. Do 20-30 reps every time you train. To lock your ankle, point your toes downward as you volley it back to him. If your ankle is locked, the ball will travel back to your partner’s chest without any spin on the ball. If your ankle is not locked, the ball will have backspin as it goes back to your partner. I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
Sure I’m happy to help! Can you give me more details? Does your shots often come up high? Are they going wide of the goal? Or are they heading down the middle? Are they powerful? Or slow rollers?

@@KreiderAcademy mostly before and i also have problems trying to shoot with the right part of my foot I normally shoot with my side of my foot or the front (toes) of my foot And yeah i get the bouncy shot not the Ariel type of shot i have problems with getting the ball into the air with power
@@Fresry My advice is to first focus on shooting the ball with the correct part of your foot. Master this piece first. Don't worry about power or accuracy or anything else. Then move on to mastering striking the right part of the ball. Once again, don't worry about power or accuracy. Next step, now you focus on removing your jump or hop before shooting. Just a simple run and shot, hitting the ball with the right part of your foot and in the correct part of the ball. Once you have these 3 steps mastered, then we will focus on accuracy first. Just try to consistently finish bottom corner. Even if it is bouncy and lacks power, that is fine. Finally, now we can focus on power. Adding power to your shots has to be the last part you focus on. If your technique isn't good, then attempting to shoot with power will just make your shots wild and inaccurate. Focus on striking the ball properly and implement the tips I gave in this video to improve your power. It will take time to start consistently scoring fantastic goals. As long as you consistently work on your shooting and follow these steps, you'll get there!! I hope this helps 😄
Bro my problem is i cant shoot hard balls or more like balls with more weight but when i use light balls my shots are perfect what should i do yo shoot the hard ball properly ?
Why does my quad feel like it’s going to explode after 10 kicks? It’s been like this for 3 weeks now. I stretch and drink water. Me and my friends practice only once a week. Why is my quad killing me? I’ve always been athletic just never played soccer before
I don’t know! Kicking in soccer is going to use your quads unlike how they’ve ever been used before.. If it’s really bad I’d recommend seeing a doctor or athletic trainer to take a look at it but hopefully your body heals and back stronger than before soon!🫶🏼
My problem is that I can't lock my ankle while shooting with laces and also can hit the ball with the hard bone of my foot. Maybe because I am afraid of stumbling my foot into the ground . Any suggestions for this??
Absolutely. Unfortunately it is essential for having good technique so you need to push through, even if it’s uncomfortable. My advice is to have the ball a little bit further away from your standing leg, off to the side. This will allow you to easily hit the ball properly without being afraid of hitting the ground. Just know that this will come at the expense of shot power! My advice is start with this and as you get comfortable, start moving the ball closer to your standing leg and that’ll help you improve your shot power! I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
a question not realted to the power shot vid but its important for me.When i try to shoot with curve it works but the bone that is underneath my thigh hurts anyonr know how i reduce this thing this thing makes ne shoot with less power
I’m sorry I don’t know how to help you with this. My advice would be to find a sports doctor or athletic trainer to assess it and help you if you can! Hope it gets well soon!!
Don’t worry about it! It’s very rare that you slip and that’d be down to field conditions or your shoes. Trust the technique and the advice in the video! Practice it on your own, outside of training and then you’ll have confidence in your technique when at training and games! I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
So, my problem is that i cant hit the right part of the ball, i can keep my ankle locked and use the right part of my foot but i can’t ever keep the part of the ball consistent, is there anything i can do about this?
Overall it sounds to me like you just need more practice. However this practice needs to be intentional!! Go to the field and shoot on your own. When doing this, focus on the ball the entire time. Keep your head down!! Watch your foot strike through the ball. After that point you can pick your head up. If done properly, there’s a good chance you won’t even be able to see your shot… But if you get excited to watch your shot and pick your head up early, then that’ll cause your contact point on the ball to be slightly off and this will cause your shots to have less power, be inaccurate, etc. Try this out and really focus on keeping that head down. Let me know how that works😁🫶🏼
I have super wide feet, so there isn’t a single boot that fits me. I have to either use normal shoes or boots that don’t fit me. This really makes accuracy hard for me 😢
Lock your ankle by pointing your toe down towards the ground! Locking your ankle when shooting (toes down) is different from when passing (toes up). This little tweak should prevent your toes from hitting the ball first when shooting! I hope this helps😁🙌🏼
Hi bro....I use the mercurial 5 boots and it is slightly longer than my foot.if I take a shot it dips or it sounds like a toe poke. My shots don't have any power.one day using my barefoot and I got good results. Pls help me to identify my mistake
There could be a few reasons why this is happening and I cannot say exactly without seeing you play. However, here’s some things that could be causing the problem: 1. Your point of contact with the ball. If you’re struggling to keep the ball off the ground then you might be hitting too high on the ball. 2. The dip on the ball is caused by your follow through. If you want less dip, strike through the ball in a straight line. If your foot is coming up as you’re in contact with the ball, this will cause the dip. 3. The sounding like a toe poke is an interesting problem. I think that may be caused by the part of your foot you’re striking the ball with. Use the thick part of your foot, right where your laces are to strike the ball. Also lock your ankle. This toe poke sound may be happening because your ankle is releasing as you shoot the ball causing your toe to come up and hit the ball too as you shoot. This will also increase the power of your shots. I hope this helps🙌🏼
hey uh. im trying to power shot but i have a problem. when i try to run up its like i cant use maximum backswing. like my leg bending to get more power. i cant get ussed to it
You say when you run up.. is there another instance where you’re able to get maximum backswing?? That detail is so critical to proper shooting technique that my best advice is to push through the feelings of discomfort and awkwardness. It will feel more natural and become easier over time!! I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
I can't hit the ball with my laces it's like my foot is too big for the ball, whenever i try power shot i can only hit with my toes, and when i try hitting with my laces i hurt my toe, but i can hit perfect volley with my laces because the ball is not on the ground.
A common problem! Your standing foot is too close to the ball. Try adjusting your standing foot so that it is a few inches further to the side of the ball. This forces your leg to come out at an angle when shooting so you aren’t straight over the ball. And that results in your toes not hitting the ground when you shoot if you’re striking the ball properly. You also need to lean to the opposite side of the ball as you shoot. This will help you maintain your balance as you shoot. I know this is a lot. It will take lots and lots of practice to master so don’t be discouraged if it’s takes months to get down! Keep working hard and it’ll come with time and practice😁🫶🏼
Muscle power is certainly part of it! Get stronger and more explosive will help with shot power. However, the biggest improvements to your shot power will be technique for most players. That’s why I focused on the technique aspect in this video 😁🫶🏼
I have a problem when I hit the ball hard. I cannot lock my ankle. Whenever I think and tell myself to lock my ankle. when I hit the ball, I cannot. When I focus on lock my ankle, the shot comes weak and I do not control its direction. Could you please tell me the solution to this problem?
Unfortunately the solution to the problem is more practice. I wish there was a trick to solve it but there really isn’t. You need to build the habit of you locking your ankle so it becomes second nature. A great drill to do this: Have a partner 3-5 yards from you with a ball in their hands. Have them toss a ball to your feet that you can volley back to their hands and catch it. Use your laces! Focus on keeping that toe pointed down throughout the whole volley. This will keep your ankle locked! Do 50 4-5 days a week for a month and let me know how your shooting improves!
My problem is that whenever i kick it i cant kick it straight and kt doesn't even fly its going left rolling in group without any power i also cant hit it with my laces please help
You need to focus first on mastering striking the ball with your laces. Don't worry about power at all. Just repeatedly work on striking the ball with the correct part of your foot, on the correct point of the ball. These are the first two MAJOR details to master. The power and accuracy of the shot comes with proper technique. So don't worry about that until you are making good contact with the ball every single time you shoot. I hope this helps!!😁🫶🏻
@@EraChrone I understand. Try to find an area where you can work on your shooting. Even if you have to walk a little bit to get there, it'll really help! Just be safe!
Im 11 years old, and i was questioning wether or not was my strength to shoot with power, or i just need good technique. I am a pretty strong individua so i need to know how much strength matters
Strength does make a difference, but shot power comes mostly from the technique. Think of it this way.. Proper technique is like the cake, but the extra strength is the icing too it. It makes a difference, but cannot make up for a poorly made cake or poor technique in this case. I hope this helps😁👍🏼
To lock your ankle for shooting you want to keep your toes pointed down throughout your shot. Doing this engages the muscles around your ankle and it keeps it “locked” A drill you can do to reinforce this is get a partner, 5 yards from you with a ball in their hand. Have them toss the ball to your feet and volley it back to their chest. Here’s how to know if you’re doing it properly. If your volley has lots backspin on it, then your toe came up and you didn’t lock your ankle. If your volley has little or no spin on it then you locked your ankle and it was a good rep! The best thing about this drill is you can do 30-50 reps each foot every day! Whereas you can’t do that with actual shooting reps because you’ll get fatigued. Do this every day! Let me know how you progress😁💪🏼💪🏼
Hey bro can u please help me i have a problem with finishing and shooting power, i think the problem is my balance cause everytime i try to skill n cut out when i shoot it becomes a problem, the ball goes too low with no power or it goes very wide, i'm stating to think i play like lukaku 😅😑 I'm really looking forward to here back from you, n i hope you'll help me 🙏👩🚀
This happens for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it allows your shooting leg to strike lower on the ball more easily since your hips are lower than if you were up straight. Secondly, and more importantly, it helps for body stability. As you shoot you’re putting a lot force through your standing leg. If you have a straight knee as you shoot, you are not allowing any additional movement in that leg in its current position. Whereas if your knee is bent, the force can dissipate by causing your knee to straighten out first. Your follow through landing on your kicking foot also helps your body deal with the force. This is the long way of saying that having your knee bent will reduce the risk of hyperextension of your knee from shooting. Hope this helps😁🫶🏼
My advice is to have a friend record you shooting from back and side angles in slow motion so you can slow it down and really analyze your technique. If you do this and upload it to TH-cam let me know and I’ll take a look👍🏼
Any idea what the problem may be? Focus on making good contact with the ball and striking the ball with the correct part of your foot and the power will come with good technique
You do lift your head, you just need to keep it down as you’re making contact with the ball. Sometimes players get excited and pick up their head before they make contact and that causes their contact to be slightly off resulting in a weaker, less accurate shot. I hope this helps😁👍🏼
@@Freezer_from_amazon it sounds to me like you’re struggling with generating power on your strikes. To lock your ankle for shooting, you just want to point your toes down and maintain that as you strike the ball. Don’t let your toes come up as you shoot! That is how you lock your ankle👍🏼 Do this drill to practice locking your ankle. While it isn’t shooting, you can get way more repetitions in this drill and you lock your ankle the same way as you do when you shoot. Get a friend and have them hold the ball in their hands, 3-5 yards away from you. Have them toss the ball to your feet, so you can volley it back to their hands with your laces. ‼️Do 30 reps every day with both feet‼️ Here’s how to know if you’re doing it properly and they can watch to make sure. 1. Have your toes pointed down as you volley it. Even have you hit the volley, your toes shouldn’t come up. 2. There should be little spin on the ball. If the ball back to them has lots of backspin, your toes came up and you didn’t lock your ankle. This drill will help you build the muscle memory of locking your ankle for when you’re shooting! thanks bro but how you hit with laces without hitting ground and on what angle should approach be
There’s two things that help prevent your foot from hitting the ground when you shoot.
Thanks man this will help a lot i just have one question at 5:40 you say that you need to aim outside the post about how far?
How to aim low like de bruyne?
@@KreiderAcademypls reply
@@salmannoob4946 To keep your shots lower than usual. Use the exact same technique except:
1. Lean your body over the ball more and
2. strike the ball a little bit higher than usual (right around the midline of the ball).
These two details usually go together since leaning over the ball makes it more difficult to hit under the ball and sky your shots.

@kreider Academy would you please tell me how to lock my ankle while shooting and passing idk how to lock my ankle

Hi coach. i need your advice. I can't not lock my ankle when i contact with the ball. what dril so i can fix that ?
@@KreiderAcademy okay. I'll try it. Thanks you very much!

Hey I’m having problems with the stutter step how do I time my run up better?
It honestly just takes hundreds and thousands of reps. Do lots of training on your own on shooting. Just make sure you aren’t hitting dead balls, the ball needs to be rolling to improve your timing of your run up.
Every time you train you have to be intentional about not stuttering. You may feel awkward at times or stretch your stride too far out and lose power but that’s okay. We’re trying to get rid of your stutter habit first. After that and all this practice, the timing will become second nature to you! I hope this helps😁🫶🏼

I can yes, but my right foot definitely has more power and consistency! I’m at a good spot in my progression but I want to keep improving them! 😁🫶🏼
Hi love your videos. But I can't create backswing while i am shooting and just cant lock the ankle

Yo thanks for this video only problem for me is. That i cant lock my ankle while doing follow throw and moving with it
Can you lock your ankle when stationary?
Do you use your toes to lock ur ankle?
Yep! Point your toes down and keep them pointed down. Doing this requires you to use the muscles and tendons around your ankle.. So if you do it as you shoot, your ankle will stay “locked” as we like to call it! I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
Why my ankle does not locked
Practice thousands of times… I got a soccer tournament in two months… I can do this!!

I normally shoot with my side of my foot or the front (toes) of my foot
And yeah i get the bouncy shot not the Ariel type of shot i have problems with getting the ball into the air with power
I hope this helps

I hope this helps😁🫶🏼

sometimes im scared to take shots because im afraid of slipping if im trying to lean to the side while shooting
If done properly, there’s a good chance you won’t even be able to see your shot…
But if you get excited to watch your shot and pick your head up early, then that’ll cause your contact point on the ball to be slightly off and this will cause your shots to have less power, be inaccurate, etc.
Try this out and really focus on keeping that head down. Let me know how that works😁🫶🏼

However, here’s some things that could be causing the problem:

Does it's need muscle power
A great drill to do this:
Have a partner 3-5 yards from you with a ball in their hands.

@@Toill684 you’re welcome!
how do u lock ur ankle
To lock your ankle for shooting you want to keep your toes pointed down throughout your shot. Doing this engages the muscles around your ankle and it keeps it “locked”
A drill you can do to reinforce this is get a partner, 5 yards from you with a ball in their hand.

Of course! Is this a problem in games specifically or in training or individual drills too?

Why do you bend your standing leg ?

I can’t shoot due to not knowing how to lock ankle
To lock your ankle for shooting, you just want to point your toes down and maintain that as you strike the ball. Don’t let your toes come up as you shoot! That is how you lock your ankle👍🏼
Do this drill to practice locking your ankle.
‼️Do 30 reps every day with both feet‼️
Here’s how to know if you’re doing it properly and they can watch to make sure.
I hope this helps😁🫶🏼
