I think there is a bit of misinformation in the presentation. I am fairly certain that summer fluke spawn offshore and their larvae/fry migrate inshore. It was always my understanding that fluke come inshore following squid. The bays are great in the spring and I have always caught fluke as a kid while flounder fishing in April. Bay water heats up quicker than ocean water why the bite is also better in the bays early in the season.
same story....i lost my rod same way...4 hours later got it back drifting a hot spot....awesome memories!!
