When he first did that impression of Marty McFly I laughed pretty hard, because it was a 1 second impression with no voice and it was STILL a good impression!
It was actually a better impression than with the voice lol
Sameee
I saw it and I thought to myself: "Dumbass."
He LITERALLY touched his hair and I was like "YEP, there it is"
It's spot on
For 1 second, he looked just like Michael J. Fox.
Nah, he's too tall.
He has good comedic timing! I've never seen an interview of him until this..
Right? He's really funny and so nerdy it's cute
I've seen some interviews of him over time, he always came across as arrogant and humourless. So this interview was quite a surprise, he actually seemed likable :D
Listen to his episode of Pete Holmes podcast
Did you not watch That 70's Show? lol he's obviously hilarious!
@@amandaschultz1338 There's a huge difference between acting from a script and off-the-cuff improv. Many actors are funny on a TV show or in a movie, but have zero or are bad at humor in real life!
A nerdy hippie, a white supremacist, a social media mogul...this guy really can do it all! Now if only he was ever cast in a superhero mo...uh...
Just kidding...you’re awesome Topher!
I laughed so hard at his comment 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That movie never existed. Say it enough and you might believe it.
A serial killer too
He played Venom, not a superhero tho but he had the part.
Kadenna K2A I know...the joke is that that‘s a movie better forgotten
Topher is aging with... grace ! ;-)
He looks exactly the same as like 15 years ago
@Lily Rose couldn't not do it, sorry ! ;-)
Get out. Just leave 😂
This is not aging
Thats eric from that 70s show? Wow. He aged well. Doesnt look like he became a jerk either
He's so god damned charming I can barely stand it! Its a shame Stephen won't have him back on after this Hobbit debacle.
You cut him out? Guess it'll be another 18 years before your next meeting.
"I hate to tie back to the future to white supremacy but that gave me the courage to..." hahahah what a great random quote
Huge thanks to John Mulaney for pointing out exactly how not-so-random that quote might be.
"And also, we’re gonna imply that a white man wrote ‘Johnny B. Goode.’ So, we’re gonna take that away from ’em"
ExileOnDaytonStreet He didn’t tho. He sang what he heard from Chuck.
He is the embodiment of what a nice guy should be like. What a gentleman.
5:01 "Is it still in your F*bleep* movie or not?" 🤣
AYYY ERIC FORMAN!!! Topher Grace is one of the coolest dudes ever
Except for that little Spider-Man 3 snafu...
"DUMBASS!" LMAO
Good to see Topher doing well, just seems like such a chill dude. Bit awkward but hey who isn't.
Eric Foreman will always be one of my favourite character ever
My guest tonight is Topher Grace! You know him from Take Me Home Tonight, Valentines Day, and Spider-Man 3!
Seems this guy doesn't wanna grow old.... Good for him...
Its been decades that he looks like this
He reminds me of Ralph Macchio.
Anyone know his age?
@A Cool Million Paul Rudd is aging like a fine wine he's getting better with age
ikr, he still looks like he's from the 70s
1) this comment is made on literally every celebrity interview
2) they put on a crap ton of makeup before these appearances; that helps
3) he has aged. Go look at episodes of That 70s show. He doesn’t look bad at all. But no, he doesn’t still look 20 years old.
Great Marty McFly impression!
This has been killing me, I've known that Topher has cut the Hobbit films down to one feature for years. He's been talking about it for years. To take a 9 hour trilogy and bring it down to one compelling film sounds amazing. I know there are copyright laws and such against him, but fuck where can I see this? I want to see this! When, How, can this be done?
do you not know what google is
You edited him out Topher..so that strictly rhetorical "let's do it again sometime" actually means 'you'll never appear on this again' ;)
Nobody:
Topher: I KNOW WHERE YOU'RE GOING WITH THIS
love him
He’s so friggin’ adorable.
That's one of my favorite interviews on The Late Show.
Topher just made an enemy for life. You don't play with Stephen's Lord of the Rings infatuation.
Me too i hate those movies
LOL! I'm sure Stephen would admit the Hobbit book is far better than the movies. What true LOTR fan would say otherwise. I'm really curious to see this edit now
@@anrina I have only read it once and I didn't care for it. I'm a huge Tolkien nerd
Topher was right though. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Trilogy is just a bloated mess.
My Spider-Sense is tingling, if you know what I'm talking about...
Yes. Eddie Brooke is in the house. I don't know the right name of his character
Isn’t Venom invisible to Peter’s Spidey-Sense?
Alia J. Shafira it's Eddie Brock
@@lukeengel4988 Oh, yes.. thanks
You mean your Peter Tingle
That Back to the Future impression was good lol
That 70's Show was amazing , good job Eric !
oh that Foreman laugh at the end of the impression. Ohh how I love this guy
he’s so cool ): the witty type of characters that talk fast and don’t look directly in the eye are meant for him
He's sooooo adorable, in a geeky kinda way!
He is aging so well! Love him!
That was A GREAT MJ Fox
It took me so long to recognise him in Black Mirror. A great performance and a tragically credible scenario that could easily happen today.
Same the man bun really threw me off. It was also my favorite episode of the season i didnt expect to feel so much sympathy for the "villain"
"is it still in your fucking movie or not" hahahahahaha laughed so hard, love Stephen
Man, Topher Grace you the man, nice to see your appearance.
I need a MASH remake with Topher as hawkeye.
Jason Day omg yes!
Dude, not a bad idea but how the fuck can you do hawkeye without the sexual harrassment?
The thing I didn't know I needed that I really need.
Absolutely but the real question is, who would play Hot lips Houlahan?
@@nickmorton2354 Hot Donna
I was just talking about Topher and roles that suit him, and I concluded that the role that fit him the best I think was predators. The Norman Bates type intellegent psycho killer.
He played a pretty convincing "nice guy" dweeb in win a date with tad hamilton. But generally yeah I agree
Red is looking for Eric..
I just want to see his Star Wars prequel edit...
You are a flipping Legend Mr. Colbert.
Thank you Stephen for the lotr-update. Next question: when shall it be passed?
Wessel van Oirschot It SHALL NOT PASS!
I know it’s kind of an older interview, but just wanna say, Topher is an ideal guest for Stephen. Great rapport between these guys. Love that.
am here after the 70s show to see if Eric Forman grow old and look any different 😩 he still look the samee
It keeps looking like Topher's reading from cue cards 😂
Am I the only one who noticed how he never looks at Stephen, only himself in the monitor behind Stephen 😂😂
yeah looks like he's blind or can't see him
It's very distracting sometimes. I hate looking at myself in the mirror but when I was giving a presentation it had a monitor of me talking back to myself and it was all I could pay attention to and how horrified my face was.
I came to the comments looking for this comment! I totally agree.
Now I want to see his edit.
When he start talking I got ptsd from all the times I watch “that’s 70’s show”
His Marty McFly was amazing, just amazing. Love it
Haha being real with the Hobbit. It was to damn long
no it wasn't
Extremely talented actor. Love u
Interesting, I didn't know that was him in the Black Mirror episode.
Hey its david duke, venom, doctor from interstellar, that psycho in predator, the star of take me home tonight, and that 70s show.
Don't forget one of the best scenes in Ocean's 11
He's cool. Glad he's doing more.
He was so good in Traffic!
Loved his episode of *Love, Sex, and Robots* as well!
Eric Foreskin!!!! Topher is just awesome!!
He's a better guest than I was expecting. Good stuff.
I swear the two of them never age...
Nice to watch him again, looks great.
This is funny especially because I remember That 70s Show years ago and thinking that Eric sounded just like Marty McFly in certain clips (like the "but Dad we came here together" after Red decided to drive home alone after Earl's wrongful dismissal hearing).
underrated actor
Oh, thank God, i needed a new podcast
Editing the «Hobbit» movies down to one watchable 2.5 hour film is super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Jørgen Egner Granerud Cutting movies down to just the essentials and removing bloat is TIGHT.
Byron Anderson I’m gonna need you to climb all the way down my back about cutting Colbert from The Hobbit please
- Oh, did I have to cut you out, Colbert? Oops!
- Oopsie!
I see what you did there...
I saw that picture from DUST!
Spot on impression! Well done. No joke.
Surprisingly good impression!
his voice barely changed damn
You know Colbert got pissed when Grace said he cut him from the movie!😂
Just watched Smithereens based on this interview.... Amazing.
Loved the synergy between these two!
I would like to see his version of the Hobbit, i always fall asleep when i try to watch the original
Have a look at "The Tolkien Edit," it's such an improvement
Go way back to the Ralph Bakshi sort of animated. No falling asleep!
Topher now looks just like Ad-Rock from the beastie boys
Love Topher Grace since That 70's Show but not just exclusivly for that
Spot on impression!
He was also in Love Death and Robots
“You know this man from that 70s show, Blackkklansman, and Black Mirror”
Spider-Man 3: You’re trash Brock!
That's a pretty good impression.
He's far more articulate than I would've expected.
This guy is gonna forever be spider-man to me LOL
He was never spiderman. He was venom
Venom looks good in this
God, I can't see him without remember Eric Forman
im only alive for topher grace
i 1st fell in love with topher in "to win a date w/ ted hamilton" and still think he was an amazing venom! lol
Hey it's foreplay!
Also, he was very good in The Hot Zone.
Didn’t want to seem to look Colbert in the eye
man, last time saw this guy was in the movie "good company". what has he been up to
Topher Grace Voiced Tobias Wilson In Geno White Vs (2011)
Date: December 3 2011
I don't think I can un-see him as Marty McFly. Never saw it in him before. Now, always.
Omg crush alert!! 🚨
Anyone know where we can find Topher Grace’s movie edits? I hear his Star Wars prequels are actually really good!
trublueigslp04 he doesn’t release them. It’s more of a personal hobby for him
He doesn't release them for legal reasons, and it's a personal hobby. If you're interested in Hobbit fan edits, there's tons to check out
Real talk where can I watch his hobbit
Let's give him some love for Breakthrough
This is brilliant. I love that Elijah Wood produced an edit of The Hobbit.
That's clearly Daniel Radcliffe....
In Good Company, great movie.
5:00 - 😃😄😃😄
I love love love him.
Fun seeing someone just utterly destroyed by the host 😂
Ohh my spidey senses is tingling...if you know what im talking about.
Umm no Stephen we definitely know him from That 70’s Show...0:05
5:00 LOL
