Don’t you just love days like these where everything’s bright and fresh outside, perfect for getting out. Nice to see more people skating with this model! I love mine. I recently bought some Powerslide megacruiser 125 frames to stick on them, waiting for them to arrive. Can’t wait 😁
Still find it hard to brake the way you do. I only make a sharp turn. Need to find some smoother surface to practice the braking techniques. Can you brake in both directions? Left or right?
Love my 500s had them a couple months now amd am slowly progressing with my 11 yo daughter ! Did you hav to adjust the frams at all ? I struggle to balance on one foot a bit , I'm sure with practice I'll be fine but i hear moving the front of the frame in can help? I got black but wish i got the red/white 😂
That’s so cool you’re learning to skate with your daughter. 👍 I always prefer to adjust my frames in a bit and it’s great you can do this with these Oxelos. I’d recommend trying it as it might make all the difference.
@@RichHayterSkater awesome thanks , she is really enjoying it but struggling with the push and not step to move forward but I'm sure she will skate rings around me very soon 😂 I can skate on the middle fine but from what i gather and see in videos, moving forward you should hold a slight outside edge which i struggle with ! Will give it ago see how we get on 👍 do you move the whole frame or just the front?
I move the whole frame but you can do whatever suits your own preference. It’s worth while spending time getting comfortable on your edge. Play around with carves, and work on extending time coasting on one foot during each stride.
Most skates will cause some initial discomfort anyway, but these do tend to cause me some cause some ankle pain due to the liner. I now wear ankle pads with all of my skates.

Yes! If only every day was like this! ☀️
I’m a genuine fan of this skate and the MF900!
I bought my mf500 3 weeks ago thanks to you :)
Hey! Enjoy! 👍

Yes, I can brake on both sides, though I defo have a more dominant side. A smooth surfaces will defo help, especially in the beginning. 👍

@@RichHayterSkater awesome thanks , better get the allen keys out again 😂 soon as I get a dry spell I'll have a play 👍
@@RichHayterSkater In which way do you adjust the frame? Only forward or backwards or also sideways?
Do you get hot spots on your oxelos? I have worn them for a good week and get hot spots on both boots on the inside of my feet.

Is mf 500 better or mf 900?
I’d need to go with the MF500.
