@@somaghosh3660 Dankuni doesn't have a diesel / electric loco shed, So to provide an EMD LOCO would have further delayed the train as nearest diesel loco shed is at Howrah. But a large number of WAG series locomotives r always present in DKAE as the Eastern dedicated freight corridor begins from Dankuni. So it was easier for the rail authorities to arrange a WAG 7 as replacement loco. THANK YOU.
Yes its working individually but to run with a super fast express the loco has to maintain certain air pressure level throughout the entire rake for the brakes to function properly . Indian Railways uses approximately 5.3 kg air pressure for most of its passenger trains which that particular locomotive was unable to maintain , thus it has to be replaced. Railway technicians / engineers can explain this issue more elaborately . Thanks for watching.

On that day(03.06.2022) the regular loco WAP 7 failed ,So it was replaced by WAG 7 at Dankuni Jn. Thanks again for watching.

Maintenance issues need to be sorted out . They need to keep replacement locos at closer range to reduce delays in attachment times

Wap 7 from hwh shed could have been attached in that time...
That was to be decided by the Rail Officials present there. The WAG 7 was standing in the loop of freight corridor so it was the choice.
