Hello Micheal just listened to this and I dont know why I didnt do it earlier . The combination of the two saxes is so different to what we hear on recordings if it was done by US artists This is so listenable and so MUSICAL without being too technical .If you had to pay to listen to this you get your moneys worth .May I pay that girl a compliment .She is pretty and so is her playing. All the best
Unique and powerful - beautifully different. Ad Libs: 1st. tenor saxist is fiercely and comfortably at home; the 2nd, relaxed, cool and thoughtful. What admirable contrast! I adore it. Don't you?
I will repeat myself, Michael, I love the way you play and your improvisational capacities, how you dance around the melody, and always in tune ! Once more : bravo !
I'm not ! I speak tje truth, I mean my truth. I wish I have had your abilities by the time I was playing a lot, training at home by myself on all kinds of records and with little groups. Even then, I could not be at the same time as fast playing and as precise as your fingers are, mind deep into the music, around the melody line. You have all my respect. Do you like playing legendary acid and pop jazz titles like Lee Morgan's "The sidewinder" with Billy Higgins on tenor sax, fusion jazz with Herbie Hancock's "Cantaloupe island" with Joe Henderson on tenor, or things like Coltrane's "Ole" for intance ?
@@francoisbousserez4690 Of course I love to play these tunes. Often play them live. Thing is: I almost can't remember when I played my last live job :-( CU my friend.
Nice, lets play along :) After the the old horns are rebuilt don't forget to keep your hearing in top performance as well. Working with a TORP and returning to my old King Super 20, can't play it if you can't hear it. Very nice.
Achei o instrumento da jovem o som encorpado, o instrumento do senhor tem um pouco de brilho. Essa é minha opinião. O amigo pode me responder? Agradeço!!
The two of you are very different in style. From simple to complicated. I don't understand that both of you can use T 97. They have a 134 tip opening, almost the largest available. Combined with a 3 and 4 reed, the sound is pretty rough. For Michael, yes. For Sara? I'm not sure.
Hi, the tip opening isn't that hard to handle. In fact I was surprised at how effortless the mpc plays. Goes for Sara as well. No stress no strain. I used to play a Berg 150 before.
Michael Ausserbauer If there is no strain and a lot of gain, fine. I feel comfortable with my Otto Link NY 7* (105) and Legere Signature #2. Suits me and my main stream jazz (Scott Hamilton or Aubra Graves style). With that gear I can play rather soft, but also pretty rough. I don't know what a 134 mp would do.
Borgani always had an own way to build saxophones. All of them from this time - and even some newer ones - have the bell going straight up and a kink at the end. Quite remarkable horns when properly set up.
Quels sons !!! Beaucoup de charme et de présence.
Bravo

It's a Borgani.

Hans Thjomoe the Legere are fine reeds. Right now I play one on my alto.
The bell on the borgani looks rather unusually straight?

both high level: saxes and players...
what is the dolnet? Man or woman
Right side. Man.
