Make a gif of that cat running and put it on facebook and memecenter and it will be spread like a very viral disease with all the lols but please someone do it please
I understand about getting work to pay the bills, but here's my question: In the long run: are you happy with your work in Ratatoing? You will have to forever carry the fact (or burden, depending on who you ask) that you voiced a few characters here, including the green rat that shouts PRECISELY!!! I fully respect you as a voice actor and I am a fan of what you've done (including your work on Pokemon), but if you're able to accept that you are the green rat and like to shout PRECISELY, that's awesome. It shows you love your work and have fun, even in the lowest of lows. But if you only look back and just say "work is work and that's it", that is when I can correctly ask, "What are you doing?"
I'm an actor. I love working. I'm hired to read aloud, not to critique the content. I have no regrets when someone picks me out of a crowd of other auditioners and wants to book me. That's the whole point of being a working actor: to work as often as possible. Nature abhors a vacuum. So does my schedule.
And for that, it is absolutely fair. It is true we both live different lives and our perspective on one art will not be the same, especially when one is involved with it. I know the life of an actor is more about the business and I guess I was thinking in the creative spectrum when I asked the question. I still very appreciate and honored that you came by to visit! Maybe Ratatoing ain't your proudest moment, but it's always fun to hear from someone directly involved with the project I talk about. Maybe one day I'll know how you feel and appreciate the work I get, even if it's a Pixar rip-off :P By the way, good luck getting that dang hedgehod!
Thanks. Remember, I'm constantly auditioning for all kinds of gigs: cartoons, video games, commercials, corporate narrations, internet promos, whatever. And like most of my colleagues, the odds are against me, and most of the auditions get no response. So when a recurring client wants to book me for a new gig, chances are I'll be there if I have room in my schedule. In the case of _Ratatoing_, I spent two hours in a chair reading a script, voicing the four characters the "director" needed me to. And I left with a check. Not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Parts of my performance even make me smile - in a good way. If you call a plumber to unclog your toilet, would you expect him to turn down your paying gig because it's a little icky? I sure hope not. And I have absolutely no problem with some of my work being torn apart on the internet. People pay me to give voice to things that can't speak on their own, and I still think that's a pretty cool way to earn a living. Thanks for watching and listening.
+Mike Pollock But why did you lend your angelic narrating voice in a terrible movie? People loved you as the narrator in Pokemon. You were inspirational. Please never narrate a shitty movie ever again no matter how big the paycheck is.
"But me, I'm the only human being in the world that somehow owns not one, not two, not three, but FOUR copies of Ratatoing!" Should someone notify the Guinness book of world records?
Please give me one, I beg you!!! This is a masterpiece I want to own, and would gracefully crown my disc collection that includes all but one Disney Renaissance films, most Pixar films, all four 2D animated DreamWorks films and much more.
What's also stupid is that in almost every title of a film Video Brinquedo makes has "Little" in it. I know it's Brazilian but Come on!? Could anyone think better than that!? The answer: YES!!
Matt Thornton Try suing a company from a country on a different continent and tell me how that works out. In all seriousness, suing someone in a different country is a very difficult task.
Story: 10/10, most interesting and innovative story ever, you get so interested in the story, a story never before done. Script: 10/10, this is the best script since pulp fiction, I want to hang this up on a museum, every word that comes out of their mouths is like Shakespeare. animation: 10/10, brings a very unique animation to the table, and beautiful looking character makes disney and pixar look like my drawings ( when I was 1 year old) Character: 10/10, they're so smart and clever, they're perfect in every way, you feel for them and want to know more. So, to rap things up, this is the greatest movie every made, watch this movie, OR YOU WILL DIE A PAINFUL DEATH NOT KNOWING ABOUT THIS MASTERPIECE OF CINEMA. Now. I must go to anyplace that sells DVDs, break all copies of the godfather, and replace it with a GOOD film like ratatoing

I mean look at Pixar, they work very hard and put effort into their films while video brintrash-o lazily copies films that actually have EFFORT put into them and just slaps them together and considers them “movies” I just can’t stand it, I’m honestly surprised Disney or Pixar haven’t sued them!!! Those ignorant a**holes at that deadbeat company deserve to be in jail!!!!

11:17 Dr. Eggman? I guess this was his master plan to eliminate Sonic. To play as a character in Ratatoing. GENIUS 101.
14:06 - 15:06 - I'm still wondering what exactly I watched, but it was HILARIOUS!

How the hell do these companies get away with ripping off great Animated Movies by Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks etc?
It's disgraceful!
I know! The movies they rip off are actually good! Like Kung Fu Panda, Ratatoulie , up, Princess and The Frog. Why Video Brinquerdo, why???
To be fair, the studio that made this has been shut down, so they at least got what was coming to them... :)
Short answer,They didn't.

Aww shit

I thought I warned u on the Facebook page! I watched this the other day and my energy and life just drained out of my feet!!!!
The destruction of the DVD at the end and the walking cat were the best parts of this. XD
