Hey man, awesome and informative vid! im curious if you know which diagnostic mode is for which sensor? D01 or D13 is for throttle cable? Was having issues when my bike gets hot, its like the butterfly valves are closing but the throttle cable is free and the revs stick till i snap the throttle again. Any ideas? Only happens when hot for some reason
Maybe Later if you have a really long screwdriver you can go in from the side but you have all the insulation and rubber cover to go through plus it would be very hard to see so taking the tank off and air box is the easiest way
hey bro very nice and educational vid, I have 08 r1 living in sydney. How do I adjust the tps sensor to spray fuel after the throttle is off position. please give details thanks, can I do via DIAG mode if so How? or do I have to physically adjust the TPS it self?
thanks for the comment!!! i'm not sure you can have the injectors spray fuel after the throttle is in the closed position even with adjustments to the tps sensor. Since it controlled by the bikes computer (ECU) any adjustment would have to be made there.... You can have Adjustments made by having the ECU flashed and remove alot of the throttle based restrictions.... I had my ECU flashed by Superbikes Unlimited to remove all the stock factory restrictions to throttle and fuel management,, check into getting your ECU flashed if you haven't done so already
thank you for the prompt reply, I had woolich flash, it does get less engine braking compare to stock, but I still want abit more. thank you though and ride safe my friend.
Candy Green R1 they are stock size and stock brand for a 07-08 but I have a friend that's a machinist and engineer that did some work on the new throttle bodies, it was an experiment that worked out pretty well. I will have a vid up eventually showing and explaining what was done
Candy Green R1 gains in hp was minimal only like 5hp over the stock set up but it makes the power more smooth and linear I used to have a flat spot around 4500 rpm - 5000 of course I could've went the power commander route to help solve that but like I said my friend wanted to try his hand at it and now it pulls all the way up to rev limits no spots where I don't feel power drop off
My r1 would be at 16 at closed and wot would be at 55 but it would ride fine but I would have a lag when I try to hit the gas really quick. I got it checked out at a shop for free and they said its my throttle assy. What's ur thoughts?
@@ceciliogandara1821 I replaced entire throttle assy with sensors and it did not. It rides fine tho. Mine is a 2008 so I wondering since the bike isnt on. Is that that cause due to being the first year of electronic
egtallday hmm that’s interesting. It’s still reading those same values with the new throttle assy? Or just the bad throttle response? Mine is the exact same way man. Pretty annoying
Very useful video but turn off your music next time it’s hard hearing you
Man its hard to understand you over the music. WHY in gods name did you put slow hip hop in the back ground? You setting the mood? feels a lil gay.

Hey bro, would that TPS sensor cause a sticky throttle cable pulley? I replaced my throttle cables and my throttle does not snap back it crawls back.
hi bro, can we use throttle position sensor for both primary and secondary ??
Dopest channel, who else gives these kind of tips? What's up with the injectors?
Hey man just my 2 cents, I can’t hear you for the music. Bummer
Cant understand, the music is too loud
Is there any way to get to the main TPS without having to take the gas tank off and intake box off.

Boxx _680 okay will do...thank u

@@Boxx680 it turns over when I spray carb cleaner then it will shut off. the diagnostic have no fualt code
Throttle position sensor has a recall
what throttle body are you using if your not using the original r1s?

how big of a difference did that new throttle body make?

i have a different problem in first and second when i give it 100% from 5-10k it slips i replaced the plates and stuff but it still slips. any ideas?
someone said it could be my clutch basket

@egtallday did you get this problem fixed? I’m having the same issue with mine
@@ceciliogandara1821 I did not
egtallday so you replaced throttle position sensors and still didn’t fix the problem. Or you just didn’t didn’t do anything? Thanks for the reply btw
