I've started growing beta (Concord x Carver, genotyped) in Märsta. I got the genotyping done out of curiosity because it has been more or less stable "weed" here for decades. Tom's videos are a joy right now when they are about to break dormancy. Every few days, checking the buds, and then, better check that TH-cam video (Tom) and sort out what I forgot since last year. :)

Tom, thanks again for another great video. I've watched every one of your videos so far, and I've go two small test vineyards in place, 40 vines at my house, just for practice in pruning and maybe some wine if the damn deer will leave the vines alone, and 90 vines planted in a small plot that might hold 200 vines in total. I'm letting the 90 vine plot take shape before completely committing since it's a terrible place to plant vines. Nevertheless, hurry up with that trellising video!

One question please, what is the optimal distance between posts (distance form a post to a post) and where do you plant the grapevines in relation to posts. I am planting 32 plants, 6 ft trellis and 6 ft raw width . Again, excellent videos.
