Just FYI for those who don't know - a Drider is a cross between a spider and a Drow elf. Drow are dark-skinned, white haired evil elves that live in the deepest reaches below the surface of the earth (often referred to as the Underdark), where they were banished. A Drow is transformed into a Drider as punishment if they displease Lloth, the "Spider Queen" goddess of the Drow. The top half of a Drider (head to hips) is of a Drow and the bottom half is of a spider.
See, part of me is completely freaked out about the idea of being captured by a drider...but on the other hand, he is so deprived of affection and company that it's heartbreaking just how possessive he became after a few seconds of trapping something sentient in his web.
My favorite so far. Especially the part where the character uses venom to make the listener fall asleep. If there's a part 2, I'd love to see it explore the mating habits of driders and what they may entail for the listener! I wonder if they mate for life?
I'm realizing that this is basically the dark, twisted, monster version of "Please Mommy, can I keep it? It's so cute! I promise to take good care of it!" And it kinda cracks me up to be on the receiving end of that.
ITs so cool that you push yourself to make this kind of content when you`re afraid of spiders. It was awesome to listen to, the character and voice fits so well and I really really hope you`re thinking of making an episode to follow this one : D
On the one farm I lived, I used to get at least 2 roman spiders everyday... So I'm kinda cured of any form of fear towards spiders. So I don't think I'll get too much of a fright seeing a Drider. 😉🌸

When I met my cousin in 2008-10 when he started throwing spiders at me his parents to stop but did the exact opposite what they told him to stop he kept throwing spiders at me, and several years had past I still suffered arachnophobia
